Travelodge Hotel Sydney

"Travelodge Sydney Hotel is perfect for first time visitors to Sydney, returning visitors and the like. It's easily accessible location ( from the airport) and closeness to everything makes it the perfect hotel. Trains were only a few minutes walk away (Museum Station), buses, monorail and light rail were also within short walking distance. Rooms were adequately sized and well equipped, they also included Foxtel channels. The hotel is very close to Chinatown, World Square and Paddy's Markets/Market City so it makes it very easy to find something to eat or a place to shop. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Travelodge Sydney Hotel and I will definitely stay there again if I returned to Sydney!"

The Star Grand Hotel and Residences Sydney

"I suprised my boyfriend for valentines day booking the hotel. It was a wonderful suprise and a beautiful experience they upgarded us to a suit and oh my god it was amazing. The room had three tvs one in the lounge, the other in the bedroom and one in the bath! It was sound a relaxing atmosphere we only left the room to eat dinner. The staff at the hotel were always very helpful as we had a late check out. Star city is the best hotel in Sydney, although it is a little bit more expensive agoda with always help you save a little bit more :) and anyway it is worth every little cent :) and hopefully on some great days you get ungraded :) I would recommed using agoda all the time with my bookings and staying at the star city casino. Everytime i stay at the casino with my boyfriend we always have a wonderful experience thanks to staff and the location of the hotel. The hotel is not only for its great location but also gives you that feeling that you just want to relax and sometimes never want to leave the hotel :) Our time is mostly spent in the beautiful pool and spa :) "

"From the time I checked in on Friday to my departure the following Monday, my stay was exceptional. Staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. I had a few requests and their guest service department was very efficient and accommodating. The one bedroom apartment was clean, very modern, well equipped, light, airy and spacious, having a lovely view of Darling Harbour. The shower and bathroom were a good size and the king size bed and pillows were very comfortable and luxurious. The coffee machine was a real treat and the kitchenette was well designed with ample bench space and quality appliances and fixtures. I'm looking forward to spending more time at Meriton Suites Sussex St on my next trip to Sydney. Can't wait! "

"Stayed overnight only, however was greeted with friendly smiles. I have stayed at most of the deluxe 5 star hotels in Sydney and this would have to rank in the top 5 along with the four seasons, Shangri-la, Intercontinental and the Westin. Modern clean and friendly without being pretentious. The only downer was our bathroom tv not working properly it could have been a flat battery on the remote but we were only there for one night. Breakfast was good without being great offering all the commodities of a full breakfast in sydney."

Coogee Sands Hotel
Coogee Beach,Sydney - View on map
"I had an excellent time at Coogee Sand Hotel. I stayed there with my parents for two nights on arrival from Canada, after a long flight. The staff were very helpful, the room very comfortable, I suffered almost no jet lag. It is close to beach, cafes, restaurants, public transit, and the airport. On top of it all, I left my jacket in the room, and only realized this a month later as I returned to Sydney on the way home. I immediately phoned the staff and they had held on to my jacket- I went and picked it up! They are very professional and courteous at this hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to any traveler to Sydney wanting to be near the beach, and in quieter place- and also for those who want some proximity to the airport."

"Quest is popping up all over Australia now and you get a mixed bag with the quality. This one is new and first class. I had a long day, and went to the wrong Quest up the road......But eventually found friendly staff, great shower, easy washing machine, soft bed, lovely breakfast; I’ve stayed in a few around the university and business park area, but will stick with this one from now on"

Oaks Sydney Castlereagh Suites

"Hotel is 400 m to Central station, Lite Rail and Museum station, 15/20 min walk to Circular key. Coles and W/worths nearby if you want your own food (the latter near Central station, Coles near China Town which also is about 500 m. Spa and pool open all year and spa is heated. Staff very accommodating - actually went out of their way to help. Accommodation was good (we were on 27th floor) with good views - ours looked towards Central station. Changed towels daily. Quiet room. If you are a senior, go immediately to Central station and obtain the concessional Opal card - on producing interstate seniors card. This allows you UNLIMITED travel (train, bus and ferry) for $2.50 per day (each card holder). We trav all day on ferry, buses and train to Newcastle and Blue Mountains. Recommend train to Bondi jtn t 380 bus to beach then 380 bus to Watsons Bay where you catch ferry or 324 Kings Cross. Stayed in around 6 Sydney hotels at different this is the only one would go back to again."

Meriton Suites Waterloo

"Every year my landlords (who are good friends) come home for 4 weeks at Christmas, which means I move out. We have an arrangement that makes this a most feasible offer. For the last few years, I have stayed with friends or otherwise. This year I decided not to impose on anyone, and looked for a short-term apartment. Agoda turned up a fantastic deal with Meriton Danks St. Since New Years Eve I have been enjoying a 'staycation' in my own city! My 1 bedroom apartment is large, spacious and fully airconditioned. It is quiet, facing into the main quandrangle. Kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to cook, with thoughtful little supplies of sugar, coffee, tea, milk, dishwashing balls and liquid gels. The laundry has both a washer and dryer so you feel right at home and self sufficient. Any questions or problems easily solved. Coles and cafes are right round the corner, all open on New Years Day. Try the new St Judes cafe down the road for a superior Sydney breakfast or lunch. Promised daily refreshes of towels and bedmaking have been discreetly delivered, full service twice weekly. Even 1 GB of free WiFi! Whilst looking forward to going home, I recommend Meriton Danks St if you are a business traveller or need to be in this area for any reason. It really is more than a hotel. "
