Heart of the city, cozy, convenient ”

Its just 1km from the bus station, we paid a tuktuk 40baht to the hotel and its like 5mins to get there. We like our stay at the hotel since its only5mins to be everywhere by walk. There are the very well-known Vietnamese Restaurant, the indochina market and temples along the Melong River. We walked to see the sunrise in the early morn at the river and the weather was so nice. Also, there are so many steet food around the hotel. I would recommend to try the PadThai and Thai papaya salad at the corner of the road. the fresh juice is only25baht. I just cant wait to be back to Nongkhai again. This city is so lovely and chill. After the stay at the hotel, we've been to Vientiane, Loas by using thier service. One day tour in Vte is a must thing to do and its really worth my spent.

Very Central, Close to the River & Many Restaurants around, Clean Room, Beautiful Smile of Staffs”

It was our first time in Nongkhai before we crossed the border in the next day. Hotel is new renovated with full-furnished. Room was clean and receptionists were very informative about what we wanted to know in town. Good internet. It is located in the very central area. Walking to everywhere was near. Reasonable price. Recommended!!

Perfect for a Couple on Budget”

Everything looks new. Very attractive furnishings. Not a lot of frills but all the essentials are there. The price is so good you can stay a couple of weeks with only a small dent in the budget. Not on the river but very close. This is where we will stay when we return to Nongkhai because the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Luxury stay for cheap cost”

I booked this hotel because of its cheap price. When I entered the room, I was really really awed!! The best accommodation I had during my trip with the same price range. A king-sized bed just for me. The room also smells expensive. It is also located within the city center. Just a 3-min walk to Saturday Night Market along the Mekong River! I just loved my stay here! Will come back here for sure!!

New name. Huan Lai”

Tuk Tuk could not find as Kluang Muang could of been a scam?? But hotel sign is now Huan Lai. Had to find Wi-Fi to access my map and found hotel on my own. Anyway hotel is great for money walk up rate is 600Bt very helpful staff and super clean beds like new and bathroom as well

Perfect for a cheap stay without any extras”

Everything looked new, the room was quite big for 500 THB. Pleasant stay but a litte far from the city center, so perhaps not the first choice if you don't bring your own vehicle. Perhaps the best value for this amount of money in Nongkhai currently.

Expensive ”

Rooms clean and tastefully decorated, shortage of sockets for phone chargers, no room safe No lift long walk up to the 5th floor Breakfast terrible, no eggs just rice and stew, toast but no jam, coffee undrinkable, second day even though included we dis not go Good underground parking Had to wait until 3.15 pm for room, despite arriving at 2.00pm Many better value properties in Nongkhai

Comfortable Very Central Value for money”

We were greeted by a friendly young receptionist. Staff very helpful. Hotel is comfortable and great value for money. Rooms were clean and all staff cheerful and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby and walked only 2 MINS to the Mekong River. Besides, the famous Vietnamese Food and local foods are very delicious. We were there on Saturday and enjoyed the walking street by the river too. In the morning, we walked to the Indochina Market (very close) and had pizza (Italian Made) around there. We stayed only 2 nights before traveling to Laos. Nong Khai is a lovely little town. I will definitely stay there again.

Good Service, Great Budget Hotel, Cleanliness”

" GRYM " Stayed for only 1 week to see how lovely this city was. Wanted to stay more. This was by far the coziest! Standard room, huge beds and very clean. Very friendly staffs and manager who are very welcoming. Their English were good! Less than 3 minutes walk to the riverfront and very quiet ensuring a goods night sleep. Lots of street foods around, which were delicious (Recommended by staff). Would definitely book here for next time in Nong Khai and would highly recommend it for value for money. We got a promotion rates! Very exceptional!

Wonderful budget hotel”

This centrally located hotel is wonderful, the staff were so friendly and made my stay an absolute pleasure. The rooms are clean secure and well laid out, and all at a great price too.

Nice place nice staff near everything you need”

I was here because my gf was in hospital and was convenient for my walk to the hospital being only 3 minutes. Clean rooms great aircon nice big tv close to all the street foods and a handful of bars only 1 thing is there is no lift but if your healthy then it shouldnt be a problem if you are disabled then this is not the hotel for you as even the 1st floor is upstairs. But overall i still give this place 5 stars i cannot comment on the cafe they have as i never went inside but it looks clean and the staff are all friendly.

Excellent quality value room.”

Spacious quality room. superb value, let down a bit by the cheap wet floor shower. Difficult to find a hotel of this quality at this price. Staff were exceptionally nice and friendly.

Bare Essentials ”

Hotel is centrally located in Nongkhai city is a big plus.. The first thing we noticed about the hotel was the smell of foul water. The bed linen has seen better days and were worn and torn in places. The hotel has no lift and so is not user friendly to elderly people.. the breakfast was an insult and you'd get better in a prison. I was disappointed with the hotel in general and would not return there under any circumstances

Comfortable modern hotel in good location”

The hotel is very clean and well kept, convenient to the Nong Khai waterfront and market. The staff don't speak much English, but they try very hard to help out. I enjoyed the jok breakfast. The only drawback might be the stairs, as it's in a 5 story building without a lift. If that's a problem, ask for a room on a lower level.

Very very nice for the Price”

$13USD can't beat this place. Probably the nicest hotel I had stayed in for this price throughout SEA. Good location, nice bathroom, but breakfast not included.

Great rooms and staff!”

The hotel seems very new and is not far from the river and the indochina market (max. 5 min. walk). The staff was very welcoming and one of the most professional I had while travelling on a tight budget. The room was in perfect condition, modern and perfectly clean, big and comfortable bed, balcony. The only negative point was that our AC didn't had a working remote, so we could just turn it on or off and room service couldn't fix the problem. But we were offered another room immediately, so that's no problem. Had a great stay here, would reccomend!

Excellent”

The good.. Check-in was super easy and fast. Our room was much nicer than I expected as far as the cleanliness which was a pleasant surprise. The decor in the bathroom was very modern. And we had a cute little balcony. TV had many different options and showed clean. The bad.. "Breakfast" was disappointing. The only choices literally were toast and rice soup. I'm gluten free so that wasn't very helpful at all. Then i saw a small roach making a run for it from the bathroom to the middle of the room, but at least it was only one. Overall for the price I would say it was worth it.

Good location, close to Indochina market, walk to attraction”

I've been here many times and never disappointed with its location. The hotel distance is only 3 mins walking to the riverfront and indochina market. Bicycle or motorbike for rent is available too (in case someone wants). There are many Western restaurants by the river and it's great! My wife likes the Vietnamese foods and shopping at the indochina market. I like walking and seeing people with their easy life. We had a good time and would recommend to stay this place. Value for money!

Good value for money but had disappointments”

Rooms were nice. Friendly staff but limited English. Breakfast consisted of white toast, a jam-like substance, and a decent rice porridge soup. In my opinion, simply offering some kind of egg would greatly increase the satisfaction of the breakfast. Posters all over the hotel advertised a free shuttle to the border. We changed plans based on this information only to find out that it was only free for certain rooms - not ours. I hadn't expected a free shuttle, but why clearly advertise something that's not actually available for every guest? Extra bed was a padded mat on the floor. No problem for me, but others should be aware.

Clean and quiet”

Well appointed rooms for the price point. Cleaning kept to a high standard. Online booking cheaper than walk in. Price increased for Friday and Saturday nights.
