에어콘과 룸은 깨끗한 편이나 4인실의 화장실은 공동이고 샤워실은 포함이다. 가격면에선 괜찮은편.잠만 자기엔 괜찮지만 그외 다른것은 어렵다. 위치는 모스크사원 마주보고 오른쪽 골목 근처다. 하루만 자고 더 필요하면 현장결제해도 비슷함.

우선 건물을 방만 나눈거라 벽을 치면 똑똑 나무 소리나더라구요 방도 창문이 없으니 습하더라구요 가격이 그러니 그러려니 하고 외출하고 나갔다오니 침대 머리맡에 크으은 바퀴벌레가.. 못봤으면 그냥 잤을텐데 보고나니 못 자겠더라구요 직원에게 얘기하니 자기도 놀라며 약도 뿌려주고 잡아주려고 하고 방을 바꿔줬으면 좋겠다고 하니 다른방은 페밀리룸이라 머뭇거리더니 자기들끼리 속닥속닥하는데 언뜻 들리길 불편하면 어쩌고 하더라구요 그러더니 추가요금 5천원정도 더 내고 큰방으로 바꿨네요 직원들이 친절해서 좋았어요~ 근데 잠은 계속 설쳤네요ㅠ

저렴한가격에 하룻밤 잘 수는 잇지만..여자인 분들에게는 비추합니다.. 화장실 좁은데다 냄새나고 무엇보다 샤워할 때 옷을 걸어둘곳이 없어요..그래서 전 얼굴만 씻었었어요.. 제가 진드기에 좀 민감한 형인데..간지러움을 느낀걸 보니 청결상태도 안 좋단거에요..도미토리 방에 창문없고 에어컨만 추울정도로 틀어놓아요.. 그럼 잘 참고하신길

At midnight there's one gang of people fighting outside my room, very near and noisy. And also, scary.

Loud and unwelcoming ”

We arrived to the Regalia to find it closed at 5pm and noone to be seen. In fact we had to ask a bypasser to ring the number for us as we have an English sim. The owner was next door and let us in, making us wait while she talked with her friend. She showed us to a nice simple room, and informed us we could change if it got too loud.. Almost like she was warning us. We can put up with (just about) cockroach remains in the shower, no loo roll and a salon being here so lots of people are in and out. We can't, however, deal with loud music and a crying baby (inexplicably awake and swapping between bawling, playing with bells and squeaking toys) at 1am in the main hallway. We asked to be moved, which we were, to a much nicer, much quieter room with a bath, it was lovely. It backed onto an alley though and kids were revving bikes until the early hours. When we asked to rent a bike in the morning, she agreed to meet us to show us, but when we went downstairs, it was a dead zone again and we had to walk to the jetty to sort it ourselves. We had to take a ferry as a transit on our journey that we hadn't expected, so we had to leave a day early. Upon asking for a refund on our last night, she flat out refused, with no explanation. The management is utterly useless, and the noise isn't acceptable. I wouldn't waste your money.

Regalia is a good hotel for the price you pay. There is nothing spectacular about this hotel, the dorm rooms are regual dorms with lockers. The beds have a thin mattress but are generally comfortable. The only problem with the beds was that the frames were very squeeky, so if you moved in your sleep, you will make a lot of noise. Location-wise it is far from the main restaurants and nightlife zones. However, its not hard to get to these by cab. The owner will happily act as a cab for guests too. Overall I had low expectations and Regalia pleasantly surprised me.

Bathroom isn't very clean and the double-room is tiny, without windows. But the room itself is clean and the staff very nice and helpful. Location is in the center of Kuah, but on the island you might prefer to stay at Pantai Cenang with its beach and nice restaurant and it's pretty far from there...
