Resort - I like the size which you wouldn’t find in any where else; private beach, private rain forest, a stream crossing the forest villa area... you will not feel boring as many activities awaiting Villa - we stay in the forest villa and the beach villa. Both are great, specially the beach villa. It’s sea front. The amenities are superb. Pool and beach - both pool are good with services like ice cream, cool water and so on.. Staff - everyone’s here are enthusiast about what they are doing. You’ll realised most of them been here for very long. They loves their job and this really make me feel good Restaurent - due to the corona virus issue, we can only dine in our own villa since the 2nd day we check in. I think the local food like nasi lemak, fried mamak mee and roti chanai is good. * they have the MOST comprehensive wine list I ever seen else where... trust me, I’ve been to most of the beach resort in Asia and the Pacific regent.. the list is about a cm thick. some is rare...

Nice place to stay in Langkawi”
This is the first time that I visit Langkawi and I consider to stay in The Datai after compare with other hotel. During my stay I very impressed with their services and care. They alway asked if we need anything and they willing to help us with the heart. All staff train very well. The room and Toilet was clean than I expect even it’s inside the forest. The facilities was superb. Talk about animals and wild life there, they have show up but they not harm you. I very recommend for this hotel to stay.

The perfect hotel, but not the perfect island”
The Datai Langkawi is a great hotel in a great location. The facilities are located within the rain forest and has a beautiful private beach The facilities and the services are the best I have ever had in a 5 star hotel. I would say everything is perfect Having said that, it is wort mentioning that Langkawi Island has little to offer to the visitor We enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel, but other than enjoying its facilities, there is no much to do in the rest of the island Be prepared to enjoy your stay as if you were in an all inclusive.

From the moment you entered the resort until the day you checked out , all we can say is Datai is really an awesome place to visit & I will definitely want to re-visit soonest . A true gem in Langkawi”
Been eyeing to stay here for quite some time and it was really worth the wait with the promotion rate that we get..we had a great stay and were very satisfied with the facilities and service provided..the place is very well maintained and the staff are very professional..the spa experience was especially wonderful and we highly recommend it..The Datai is a true gem and we look forward to stay here again

We were hesitate to book here at the first place because of the price is wuite expensive. But after the experience, we were so grateful we made the decision to stay here because the experience is very special and extraordinary. Food is great, love the pastries and nasi lemak. This has to be the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Everything was exemplary. The beach is stunning. The service (even in a fully booked hotel) was outstanding. The doctor that we required for our sick son was so efficient and caring. The food in all the restaurants were delicious. Can’t wait to stay in paradise again. Thank you Datai

Datai is a beautiful resort set in the rain forest with pristine beach. The added magic is the service. All the staff in Datai are so welcoming and hospital. They are so attentive yet not intrusive and always ensuring the guests have a good experience. Cant wait to be back again.

Was celebrating my wedding anniversary with the kids at The Datai and they never fail to wow us time and time again. Beautiful property with clean private beach and great service staff that welcomes u from the heart. Everywhere u go u see staff smiling and greeting u which shows that they love to have u around. Connected to nature”
We never feel the connection to nature so much until the stay we had in The Datai. It refreshed our mind and soul. Everywhere is a hotspot for photography. We miss the bay, the thousand stairs path to beach club, the water lily and the world class hospitality. We will be back again!

3rd visit within 1 year”
Stayed at Beach villa for 4 nights after check out 3 nights at Four Season beach villa. As usual, Datai is well managed, staffs are well trained. Complimentary bottle of Champaign, mini bar refillable alcohol (Gin, Vodka, Tacquila), 3 storeys of afternoon tea everyday... Relax at the public sun lounge at the beach, hotel staffs bring over small plate of fruit and water. I took 1 plate, when my wife reach later in 10 mins, i asked for the fruit for my wife the staff said it is finished. But the manager came over and inform they will get extra for my wife. Excellent job for the manager. Overall, the experience is still as good as before.

Definitely worthed the price. Staffs was friendly and helpful. Excellent hospitality. Relaxing spa. Love the water sport activities they provided and as well as free flow champagne during breakfast time.
