The most stunning little island paradise. We loved the laid back chill vibe of Koh Ngai Seafood and stayed in a bungalow. Very spacious and comfortable, where we could stare out to sea and the quintessential beautiful rocky islands just offshore. Easy short swim from our porch out to the reef to look at marine life! Great food, friendly and welcoming staff, and some jungle walks or up and down the beach for some light exploring. We saw hornbill birds, eagles, a monitor lizard, an owl!, frogs (one tried to hitch a ride home in my backpack, loads of hermit crabs...look up, down, and around for all the beauty. Keep in mind that electricity is off during the day, so charge up at night and get outside all day!! There are some (harmless) jellyfish that wash up in the morning, but are typically gone by midday so roam freely with snorkels! I swam at all hours in those crystal clear, irresistible waters. Best view ever. Will be back!

- Bungalow 20 m from the beach. Very good location. Fine, light, soft sand. - I was allowed to change the date of the reservation due to illness and being unable to travel. - They gave me a better bungalow “Standard Triple Room with Sea View”. - Electricity and WiFi (Huawei mobile internet) in my bungalow 24/7. You need to get a small device from Koh Ngai Seafood for the WiFi that needs electricity. Without electricity in your bungalow or without a small device or without sufficient credit no WiFi. - Friendly. - Totally quiet: no generator, no chickens at 5am, no barking dogs at night. No other guests because of Covid-19. - Lots of fish and corals about 100 m from the beach. It's like swimming in an open aquarium (when there is good visibility and there are no high waves). - Good food in the restaurant, even for a single guest. - 1.5 l drinking water 40 THB. - Good windows with mosquito nets and good shower in my bungalow. - Very good transportation to Trang airport for 1,700 THB (1,000 longtail boat and 700 private car) without any problem. - I booked 4 nights but stayed 11 nights.

- Hard bed. My hip hurt after lying on my side for some time. Then I had to lie down differently. - Bungalow without air conditioning was very warm in the afternoon. - Seafood in the restaurant is two to three times more expensive than on Koh Mook. But they also have food for 80-170 THB. - There is no shop on Koh Ngai. You must therefore buy everything you need or want to have beforehand (chocolate, cookies, sunscreen, insect repellent, ...). - Lots of sea urchins. You should wear flip-flops when you go swimming. - No room cleaning or new towels for 11 night's stay. - There are often small pieces of broken glass lying on the beach, sometimes larger pieces from a broken bottle. The beach is obviously not cleaned, maybe because there are no guests anyway because of Covid-19. - On some days, the waves were so high (2 m according to the weather report) that swimming was almost impossible.

We visited a total of 6 islands over a few weeks and this was our last stop. We were blown away by how perfect this accommodation is - by far our favorite of the whole trip! The bungalows are simple, clean and spacious with mosquito nets and even a power strip provided to charge multiple devices at once. All rooms seem to have at least a partial view of the ocean, even the ones positioned furthest back. The location is unbeatable - on a quiet section of the beach away from all of the resorts towards the south end but still an easy stroll along the beach to other restaurants, even at high tide. We walked the entire east side of the island and couldn't find any other accommodation or area that compared. At daybreak and dusk, hornbills congregate to feed and take dust baths - they were fascinating to watch! The on-site restaurant was delicious and we loved that they didn't play music like many of the others did - the soundtrack of the ocean is more than enough. If you're after a quiet, tranquil area to relax and enjoy the beauty of the island, this is by far the best option for you!

Loved everything!

There was no airconditioning and there was a power cut between 9.00 and 16.00. - It did not bother us, but it is important to know. The island is just magical. The resort is placed next to the beach. There are some trees in the area, also next to the beach, so it is possible to find some shade during the whole day. Delicious food, cosy and romantic restaurant. We tried other restaurants on the island, but it appears that the Sea food is the best. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, hornbills were fed every now and then so it was possible to take picture picture of these beautiful birds. Every evening a strong wind was blowing from the see - it was so refreshing!

If you want to have a walk in the forest you need to walk on a beach quite far first - entry to the forst is on another end of the beach. No possibility of card payment in most of the places on the island, also everything more expensive. Take extra cash.

The bungalow is located close to the beach view. Personel is very friendly. Very good atmosphere. You can rest and relax. The restaurant serve very tasty food

Hot shower would be good for family with children. Electricity also would be all day.

The resort is quiet and secluded, beautiful beach setting. The staff are lovely, we are planning to come back and stay here again, this is a low key resort with bungalows, massage, bar and restaurant there are bigger resort south of the island but for us this is the best the rating does not reflect the tranquility of this resort, should be a10 for location for peace and quiet and away from people, paradise!!!

The power will be done every day from 8am to 2:30pm. No AC.

Everyone who was working there was super friendly!! The whole resort is next to the beach and even though we had the bungalow which was at the very end we saw the ocean a little and just walked about 100m to the beach. The food at the restaurant is delicious - we only had our food there on our 2 night stay.

The bathroom of our bungalow was outside of the room. Still within the same area but we had to leave ohr bungalow room to go to the bathroom.

Location was scenic. Staff was super friendly and helpful organising our snorkeling tour to Koh Rok. Food was very nice also. Room had everything you need with super view.

A little expensive.

Really the cheapest place on the island (if you don't count the tents) and no reason to spend any more money, as you are in paradise anyway! Great service and flexibility, they even let us use a room to take a shower after we had already checked out and came back from a day trip. Comfortable beds too. The surroundings are more beautiful than in the pictures :)

We had a basic hut which was located pretty much for itself in the back area of the hotel right next to the jungle. That means that we had a few visitors such as a large gecko (it was very friendly though) and an odd cockroach in the bathroom. But it was part of the experience and we didn’t mind it!!The location is perfect though! Right on the best part of the beach! You can rent kayaks and snorkelling gear as well.

There is a generator of some sort running nearby, so if you’re a light sleeper, remember your earplugs.

Superb loction for the fan bungalows, all of them are beachfront right on the garden with trees frequented by hornbills. This seems like a family run quiet hotel (unlike other hotels on the same beach) which we appreciated a lot. We initially got a bungalow that had some cracks on the floor of both the room and the bathroom, so bugs could probably come in from there (and did). We complained and the two ladies running the place where kind to change the room for the next nights, they even thanked us for showing them and they said they would fix it. So everything went great from there, the new room was the same but spotless: cosy, clean and good size. The bed was very big (our 3 y old slept easily with us, so no need to book the aircon family rooms next door which we didnt like anyway.) Simple bathroom with a curtain separating it from the room, but it was not a problem because the bed has excellent mosquito nets. Great food in the restaurant, priced like anywhere in these expensive islands.

We visited in cold season, so it would have been nice to have hot water to bath the kid before bed. I am sure it is not easy to do that in these islands, but the price we payed for the room was too high to not have hot water at least for some hours. Also, when we arrived on the beach (speed boat drop off point) we called the hotel in order someone to come help us carry the luggage on the sand, and we where told it was not possible. It was not too far, but still it didn't do us a good impression. Other then that, we liked it a lot and had a great time. We would definately choose the same place if visiting again.

Nice family stay, direct on the beach. It is located more in the north so it is more quiet. Nice restaurant, nice seafood. Take enough money for some fun, no ATM, Creditcard Charging 5% ;). In all, the Trang Islands more expensive then the others, but less people, more nature and less plastic ;). Definitely would recommend this Homestay and come back with my girlfriend. The bungalows are basic, you can choose between different types.

It is a bit expensive in comparison with normal thai prices.
