There was a silver lining and a cloud”

We had some significant dietary restrictions and the hotel went beyond the call to ensure that we were accommodated. One of our best meal experiences in Japan was dinner at this hotel. The one downside of our visit was that smoking and non-smoking rooms are not segregated so that our non-smoking room was at the end of the corridor and we had to walk by several smoking rooms all of which had open doors (a strange custom for us but maybe not for a group of Japanese colleagues who seemed to be at the hotel together). Regardless if was not pleasant and would not happen in many hotel.

Nice staff, correct spa, food was average

Very old ryokan but confortable. Nice staff. The food was a bit disappointing. A bit overpriced but eventually due to Golden Week.

L'hôtel est un peu trop excentré par rapport à Matsue et est assez cher. Mais les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Pas de petit déjeuner occidental. Difficile aussi de diner en dehors de l'hôtel, même si on peut diner à Matsue (3000 yens environ de taxi pour le retour. Il est difficile aussi de communiquer, même si le personnel fait des efforts pour comprendre. Ma note sur la gastronomie n'a pas de signification car je n'y ai pas mangé (champ obligatoire!)

Wi-Fiありと書かれていたので、部屋で使用できるのかと思いきや、一階のロビーしか使えませんでした。お安いので仕方ないとは思いますが、部屋につながる廊下は冷房がきいておらず、階段の両端は蜘蛛の巣が。ほうきでひとはきすれば除去できると思います。部屋も明らかに食べかすかなと思われるゴミが落ちていました。その辺りまで清掃されていれば良かったかなと思います。素泊まりでしたので、食事については分かりません。お布団は気持ちよく使わせていただきました。部屋からはお庭が見えて良かったです。

快適に過ごすことが出来ました。”

外観が素敵な宿です。古さはありますが、清潔です。 お部屋もお風呂もとてもきれいで、お布団も気持ちよく休むことが出来ました。 ただ、新型コロナの影響かもしれませんが、夜9時過ぎ頃にはエレベーターホールの明かりが消され、女湯の大浴場の露天風呂も照明が無く、少し暗くて不安になりました。 中湯はとっても良いサイズで、貸切状態で入浴出来たので満足です。 出雲大社に奉納している鶴亀のしめ飾りなど、ここでしか見られない貴重なものも見られました。 普段は安木節等も実演しているそうですので、早く通常営業に戻ることを願っています。

エアコンが汚い。エレベーターがないので不便”

チェックインの際にお抹茶とお茶菓子でおもてなしいただいて、とっても素敵なお宿だな、どんなお部屋かなとお部屋に入るまでの印象は良かったです。しかし、お部屋に入った瞬間あまりの臭いに驚きました。従業員の皆さんは慣れてしまって臭いに気づいていないのかもしれませんが、ひどい臭いです。エアコンを見てみると埃がびっしり。エアコンつけずに窓を開けて過ごしたのですごく寝苦しかったです。古くてもきちんと清掃が行き届いていればいいと思いますが、、、 総合的に判断してお値段は割高に感じました。 前週にこちらより安くてもっとサービスが行き届いていて素晴らしいお宿に泊まったばかりなので特にそう感じたのかもしれませんが。 巫女体験ができるのはとても良いサービスだと思いますが、着付けてくれた女性は着付けが終わったら後はご自由にとそそくさと行ってしまいました。体験時間30分もいらないし、1枚写真を撮るくらいしてくれてもいいと思います。 ロビーまでわざわざ出て言って写真撮ってくださいとお願いするのはすごく恥ずかしかったです。 22時ごろ温泉に入りましたが、まだ入っている方たくさんいるのに脱衣所のエアコンは消してあり、「集中管理なので触るな」と書いてありました。扇風機もなく、またお風呂の温度は内風呂も外風呂もすごく高温なので、汗が引かないまま浴衣を着て、またエアコンが使えない部屋に戻るという、苦痛がたくさんでした。従業員のみなさん、他の温泉や宿に泊まったことないのでしょうか？素晴らしい宿はたくさんあるのでよそを見てお勉強なさった方がいいと思いました。
