Worth every penny!”

The Krabi Heritage is an older hotel that has successfully put on a new face! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, service was terrific, and the breakfasts alone were worth the price of admission. The pool was a great place to hang out, with plenty of chaises and the grounds were clean and well kept. The only, and I repeat ONLY, thing that was a problem was the shower enclosure was too small for a 6-footer like me. The soaker tub was wasted space, as we would not soak in a tub in a hotel. That space could have been a nice, spacious shower. You’re only a 10 min walk to the Ao Nang beach, the “hip strip” is right outside your door, and there was a concierge in the lobby to take care of your transportation and activity needs.

We liked our stay in this hotel specially its location. It’s near from everything — restaurants, bars, shopping areas, beach.. From their website — Krabi Heritage Hotel can be found on a peaceful and tranquil corner of Ao Nang Beach and is conveniently located only 200 metres away (5 minutes walking distance) from the beach. Ao Nang Beach itself serves as an excellent beach holiday destination with great variety of restaurants, shopping centre as well as an exciting gateway to explore many other destinations Krabi has to offer such as Railay Beach, Phra Nang Cave, Hong Island, Phi Phi Island and Lanta Island

the krabi heritage hotel is centrally located in ao nang. the main street is at the end of the driveway, the beach is a 3minute walk and shops, restaurants and bars are also in close proximity. a great hotel with room service, clean rooms, restaurant, pool, internet and with friendly staff. the price is a little higher than most hotels in thailand but the extra is well worth it if you want a clean comfortable room

Great hotel in the middle of everything”

I stayed in three hotels in Krabi over the course of a week to try out different areas. This was definitely the best. The location is superb. It's 5 minutes' walk to the beach and the main strip of shops and restaurants is only about 50 meters away. The room was bright and spacious and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The deluxe rooms face the ocean and I think it's well worth paying a bit extra. The buffet breakfast wasn't that great, but with literally dozens of cheap alternatives nearby, it's hardly important. There is a fantastic seafood restaurant called "Bamboo" located not far from Krabi Heritage. To get there, turn right on the main street when you exit reception. My wife and I tried loads of restaurants in the week we were in Krabi; this was the only one we went back to. Also, there is a really good bar nearby with nightly live music called "The Irish Rover". Even though there is a lot of nightlife nearby, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful once you're inside. Would definitely stay at the Krabi Heritage again. Nice enough hotel and it was great being in the middle of everything and not needing transport. Recommended.

I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand, and the Krabi Heritage is a great bargain. You can easily pay more for less: less service, comfort, convenience... I would stay there again, especially if traveling to Krabi with a group. I don't spend too much time in hotels while traveling, I prefer to be out and about, but the Krabi Heritage is comfortable and cozy. If I were staying in Krabi for a week, it would be a great option, as its restroom is large and the room is comfortable and can block out all the sunlight easily. Every room has a balcony, which is nice, even thought the balconies are not large. The hotel is just down the street from the beautiful beach, massage happy hours, the main shopping strip along the beach, travel agencies, entertainment, and exchanges. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent choice for an affordable hotel”

We stayed at the Heritage hotel for 6 nights and were very happy with this choice for a hotel. The cost was very reasonable. I had been expecting a small hotel from having read other's reviews but was very nicely surprised when we arrived. Our rooms were ready and the staff reserved but friendly. We didn't book rooms including breakfast but did eat breakfast one morning at the buffet. The buffet was good but was expensive for us so we ate at a number of different restaurants close by. The swimming pool is medium sized but very nice and clean. We also appreciated that we could take the pool towels to the beach. At first we had a room overlooking the pool, which was nice but then decided we wanted to overlook the ocean and palm trees. I recommend the rooms facing the oceanside but you need to be at least on the 3rd floor to get a view. The travel agent in the lobby was most helpful in arranging longtail boats for us to hire to go out to PHI PHI and also a taxi van to return to the airport. Many fablous seafood restaruants in AO Nong. We will definitely return and stay at the Heritage again.

Great value/great location.”

We spent 2 nights in Krabi Heritage and were super impressed. New, modernised, great check in, staff, fab pool, lovely rooms, great housekeeping, safe parking and very reasonably priced. It's now top of the list in Ao Nang and we have stayed in quiet a few hotels.

Lovely hotel ”

A great centrally located hotel in Ao Nang. Only ate at the hotel for breakfast, more than enough to choose from. Helpful staff, especially ‘Orapin’ who I think was the front desk manager - who went above and beyond for us (my other half had to go to hospital and they kindly ensured we could come back to the hotel when he was allowed to leave hospital even though we didn’t know when that would be at the time and they were fully booked). They helped us book our onward travel at a great price (better than what Grab offered) and the lay at the tour desk was helpful and friendly. Staff were always welcoming with a smile. Would stay again if we come back to Ao Nang. - recommend Cafe 8.98 opposite the hotel for lunch / dinner - fresh delicious food, we went there three times for lunch during our long stay.

wonderful Krabi - Heritage Hotel”

I stayed in Krabi Heritage with a friend for almost 2 weeks from 7th Mar 10 to 19th March 10. I originally booked for 3 days only, however we found the hotel so sufficient that we extended our booking for our full stay in South Thailand. We were very pleased with the hotel facilities, its position on Ao Nang Beach, hotel service and all it was to offer; it was all we expected in order to complete a wonderful vacation

Crave for thai food”

The hotel is located about 300m to the ao nang beach. About 10mins walk to the mosque. The room is so cozy, clean and very comfortable. I’ll recommend 100% to any of you that are planning to visit krabi. Breakfast is variety and yumm too. For muslims, dont worry, the food is halal. Staff are friendly and i’d say language is not a problem. Overall, my husband and i had a pleasant stay at krabi heritage hotel :)

Such a nice hotel and value for what you pay”

I stayed in this hotel for almost 3 day. The hotel was very nice and clean worth for what you pay and there is also a small belcony for you to relax. Water pressure was excellent while the WiFi is also strong. I had a plesent sleep. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast were excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's just 5 minutes walk to Ao Nang beach and you will have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. There is a nice and confy sofa in the lobby where you can just sit while waiting for your pick up van to arrive. The gym is good but need more treadmills. The pool is good too. This property exceeds my expectations. Very clean room and lovely interior design, comfortable bed, great balcony view of the mountains, warm friendly staff, great central location along the street with many food places, 7 eleven, pharmacies and travel agencies for island-hopping, and great breakfast buffet, I highly recommend tasting their delicious local dishes rather than the western selection. Fantastic stay!”

Modern and very comfortable room, huge bed, nice receptionists and amazing breakfast with a great variety of food! The hotel staff greeted us with a welcome drink and even carried our luggage to the room for us. The mountain view from the room was slightly disappointing but we had the curtains closed most of the time so it didn't really matter. Hotel is 5-min walk from Ao Nang beach, with lots of restaurants, bars, massage centres, convenience stores nearby. Just slightly further from the Ao Nang night market. We simply loved our stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it.

Krabi heritage is a a lively clean centrally located hotel in ao nang a nice quite resort. The hotel has a a nice clean pool and a good restaurant serving a wide choice of food around the pool The room are spacious and clean with a good comfortable bed and nice size bathroom the balcony are a little on the small size but enough When I booked I got a extremely good rate from agoda for my stay and will defiantly book again

AWESOME PLACE for SAVING”

This is the most satisfying stayed I had been so far. My room was big and too good to be for its price (MYR120 / 1200B for Queensize with Free breakfast). The breakfast are pretty basic but somehow I got myself full and satisfied. The soup noodle is delicious. The rest is not bad. The hotel location is near Ao Nang beach which is around 3 to 5 minutes walking distance. Really close to the beach and quite strategic place for staying. In front of a hotel got a bar, massage service and car/bike renting shop. I rented bike for MYR20/day (200B). From airport the bus cost only MYR15 (150B) and will stop in front of the hotel. You can book taxi or bus or van from the bike renting shop just in front of the hotel. Book a day before to avoid full.

I visited Krabi for the 1st time and unknowingly I booked this hotel. Trust me, this is like a hidden treasure in Aonang! The hotel is located at 2min walking distance from Aonang beach and its just on the main road. Lots of restaurants, travel information centre, dive center massage parlours, bike rentals, gift shops are located nearby. The reception & the housekeeping staffs of the hotel are friendly. There is a big breakfast area in the ground floor and one can enjoy american buffet breakfast at 200 thb (if not included in the room charge). The buffet has variety of spread and it remains almost same everyday (that is what I understood from my 3day stay) At another corner of the ground floor there is a tourist information counter too. There is an outdoor pool with plenty of sun loungers around. The hotel provides towels at pool. The rooms are quite big and spacious. We enjoyed the scenic view of the mountains lying in our bed through the glass door of the attached small balcony. The room was really nice and well presented. If you are a music lover, then you can enjoy music from distance sitting at your room only! The bathroom is clean. It has bath tub and separate shower area. The hotel has the facility for providing connecting rooms. So if you are traveling in groups, you can opt for this. Only minor issue is that the wifi does not work well in the room. Overall its really worth staying in this hotel. If I again visit Krabi, I am going to stay in this hotel and definitely recommend others!!

Nice Cozy Hotel!”

I found Krabi Heritage hotel better than I thought. Though the property is old but the overall structure and design are quite nice. The hotel is clean and the staff are also friendly. The breakfast was okay - not to my expectations. The best part was the convenience to be remain close to the beach front and reaching to nearby shops effortlessly. Can recommend to my friends and family.

The Location of Krabi Heritage Hotel is very good, its within walking distance to Ao Nang Beach. Book your tours from the hotel as its cheaper this way. There are also many stores and restaurants nearby... cheap and affordable. You may want to take a tutu to Wang sai seafood restaurant for some nice delicious seafood

Exceeded Expectation”

I didn’t expect more than just a basic hotel when I was making the booking. Only after arriving, I found out that everything is more than I had expected. The location is perfect as it is situated in the middle of Ao Nang town - everything is within walking distance. The staffs are all professionals and speak fluent English. The room is very spacious and clean. The hotel also has it’s own kiosk for patrons to book their guided tour. All in all, it’s very affordable. I certainly will book it for my next visit to Ao Nang.

Strategic Location Hotel!”

krabi heritage is located at a very strategic location. shopping area is just right in front of the hotel doorstep! also very close to amenities, restaurants, money changers, 7-11, fast foods, public transports, boats, beach, etc...but yet, still a privacy place to stay. anyway it was limited to get muslim halal foods around. the limited choices of available halal foods are quite expensive. but please don’t forget to try the fresh fruit juices from the muslim stall next to the mosque named sareefah, the best! overall, it was a nice hotel, we took room 429, sea view & located at the corner, top floor. towels & bed linen were changed everyday. room is clean, with bath tub & balcony, excellent for honeymooners. hotel staffs were friendly & cooperative, though very limited english speaking, so don’t ask more! anyway it was a pleasant stay with krabi heritage hotel! :)
