Lovely boutique hotel”
The Krabi Tropical Beach Resort was just what we were looking for--right on the water, but not a big resort. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable, the pool area is very well kept and comfortable, and the location is an excellent balance of quiet and outside the Ao Nang or Krabi town busy area but readily accessible to both areas, and with direct access to the very quiet beach in Ao Namao. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel, great staff, excellent view”
we really enjoyed our 5 day stay at krabi tropical. some people might find the location of approx. 7 km away from aonang a problem but we really liked it. away from all the busyness of aonang but close enough to go in whenever we wanted to. all staff were very helpful and we even got a room upgrade when we checked in. the room was very nice, large and had a fridge and good wi-fi. food at the restaurant was excellent especially the soups. we were very happy with the free breakfasts. we loved the yard, all the work that had been done with the trees and flowers and loved the cat too. ocean view was awesome, interesting watching the tide come in and out and watching the boats go out and come in. the pool was very nice as was the jacuzzi. all in all, excellent!!!

Relaxing, comforting and welcoming.”
We enjoyed our stay at Krabi Tropical Beach Resort. It is located quite far away from Ao Nang Beach (city), making it a nice place to relax and unwind. The ocean view from the outside of the resort was amazing and our kids had lots fun with the canoeing facilities provided by the staff. The staff were very friendly and made our stay at the resort very comfortable.

Peaceful and relaxing.”
We loved our stay at Krabi Tropical. Krang and Mon went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The peaceful surroundings were just what we were looking for. When we left Krabi Tropical we felt like we were leaving behind our friends. The food and drinks were very good. The only cons were the beds were rock hard (which is typical for Asia, however these were by far the hardest) and if you decide to save money and stay on the roadside it is VERY loud. Bring ear plugs and a face mask because a lot of light comes into the room. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxed and intimate”
We enjoyed our stay at the Krabi Tropical Beach Resort. It's out-of-centre location suited us and the food was good so we didn't need to look for a restaurant in the evening to eat. Besides, the view was better than anywhere else. The area was quiet because the beach is not attractive (it is rocky and close to a "working" pier). Some details of the rooms could be improved (the tap came off during our shower) but didn't detract from our stay. The family apartment was perfect for our needs.

Great get away spot!”
We loved our stay there! It is a little away—but only 6 km— from the touristy town of AoNang. That said, it is super easy to get a ride into town. There is a little bus that stops where ever you wave them down. Taxi tuktuks are aplenty. If you are in AoNang to dive, most likely your dive co. will fetch you there anyhow. You can also return via a bus or by taxi from town. The food is fantastic… all we had off the menu was Thai. (They do offer western type fare, but we didn't try any.) The cooks were the ones serving us & they were humble yet obviously proud as they saw us enjoying their food. And super nice people! It was fun to try to learn a few words of thai from them! The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful as well. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were hard for my taste but my boyfriend thought they were great, so it’s all up to individual taste. They were big and clean so nothing to complain about. Everything was well tended and comfortable. We had a room one night on the street side which was fine, but the sea-view room we subsequently got was much larger and the view was fantastic! The beach is beautiful and fantastic to walk around on and explore in low tide—in shoes—but it’s a rock/shell-fossil beach so not a great place for swimming. There’s a small strip of sand where kids can play but high tide completely engulfs the area, I believe. But the pool/bar/restaurant area overlooks the ocean and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset…and the swallows and then the bats come out to eat mosquitos! The only time I ever saw a mosquito was at dusk… a little Deet is helpful as are the mosquito coils the staff puts out.) It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and nice to feel like you were a little more in the real Thailand rather than just among loads of tourists.

Holiday stay”
Our stay was very relaxed and positive. The staff went out of their way to help our stay be as comfortable as possible. The pool is great with a small pool for younger children. The garden has a climbing frame for younger kids and a zip line which created a lot of fun. The cook delivered good meals, with an extensive breakfast overlooking the bay. There are kayaks you can borrow and which allow you to paddle to beautiful remote beaches, ideal for swimming! We could highly recommend this place to people who do not want to be in the hectic place of AoNang.

Fantastic location if you like peace and quiet”
Good room, good breakfast with a view to die for. Good transport links. Local food is priced for locals. A family run hotel with a good attitude. Visit the Aquarium 1 km down the beach, it's free and pop next door to fossil beach at 4.30pm when the staff go home and that will be free too. All in all, a fan place to stay.

Excellent for the money”
I loved my stay here as the owner, staff and other guests were all very friendly which was great for me as I traveled alone. It is a very peaceful small hotel with lovely views of the sea, lovely pool and Jacuzzi. The hotel is right on the sea so you have the lovely view but it is not suitable for swimming in (rocky). However last year I stayed right on the sea where it was suitable for swimming and the hotel was 3 times the price so I did not expect perfection at this price. For it's price I give this hotel 10 out of 10.

Quiet and Relaxing”
I have booked the family apartment with 2 queen bed as per stated in the website. In the end, I got 1 queen and 2 single beds. However it was okay as long as my kids comfortable with that. Comfortable rooms and basic breakfast served. Nice view and friendly staff. Private beach is not for swimming. It is rocky and close to the fisherman pier. Only the bathroom smelt of turd all the time and the water pressure in the bathroom is too slow. The hotel located a bit far from town. However, transport facility available with free of charge at 13:00 to town (Ao Nang Beach) and coming back to the hotel at 17:00. THB150 per trip will be charged if you require different time. Airport and hotel transfer for a small car is charge at THB600 per way (4-person).

Clean Hotel with Very Friendly Hotel Staffs”
Thie hotel is worth for pricing, clean and hotel staff are very firendly. it is located far from Ao Nang beach, however, it has its own beach, the beach with nice sea view and mountain view, morning beakfast could enjoy the nice poolside view too. Hotel staff can transfer us to Ao Nang central in very low fare, cheaper than the tuk tuk car. The hotel food is very delicious, all my family members have enjoyed it very much.

Great if you want to left alone ”
Booked this resort after reading great reviews online. The place was clean rooms big pool amazing. Barely anyone around. Felt like I was always bothering them. Other than our first day there was no one at the front desk to book tours, we were far from the town. Great location to the pier to take island tours. If I wanted to be away from it all and not have people around this is where I would book but for a family looking for the Thailand beach resort this wasn't it.

Very pleasant hang-out area by the pool. ”
Very pleasant hang-out area by the pool. The beach and sea are lovely to look at but you can't swim in the sea (full of rocks) or walk very far along the coast. Good breakfast but flies are a big problem. They really need to put a fan around the breakfast area. The area is relatively quiet, however be prepared to be woken up by the Muslim 'the call to prayer' at 5.30am every morning. Unfortunately there is a large speaker chanting this right across the road from the hotel. All in all very good value for money and a nice place to come back and relax after a busy day.

Small, quiet hotell with GREAT service”
Stayed almost a month and Ive never had better service in a hotel in thailand. The staff were great, very helpful and flexible. The hotel is small with only 15 rooms so its very likely that you get to have the pool to your self. They had no breakfast buffet but they were very flexible and gave us whatever we wanted to eat.

Nice Hotel but quite far from Ao Nang”
hotel and the rooms are very good and clean breakfast is very nice, they do have takeaway in case you want to leave early for any sighseeing trip. they have 2 shuttle, 1 pm and 5 pm to ao nang. other than that only option is to hire a cab / tuk tuk (cost: 150 - 200 thb).

Very good”
I recomend room with seaview because its more quiet...but if you dont mind roosters and motorbices all night disturbing youre sleep then any room is ok. Good for couples to get away from everything and have some peace and quiet. Very very friendly staff...nice pool and view

Quiet, out of the way, poor beach”
We stayed here with our 1 and 3 year old sons. When we checked in, they said they didn't have any baby cots. We asked twice just to make sure. After one nap, we called Agoda to cancel so we could find a place that was easier to lay the kids down. Agoda called the hotel and they then found a crib somewhere. There were ants and roaches. This place is pretty out of the way from the busyness of Ao Nang. They let us borrow bikes which was super awesome because there's not much in walking distance. We rode to the fossil beach, aquarium, and other restaurants. The beach is completely unusable but is pretty. We had a family suite that was air-conditioned but only on the bedroom side. The kitchen and living area were sweltering hot at all times. We even got an extra fan to help blow air from the cooler part. All in all an ok stay but I don't think we'd come back, at least not for the price we paid.

Remarkable value for money”
We had a most enjoyable stay: the room was quite basic but clean and comfortable. The gardens and swimming pool were delightful and the views were superb. The food was well-cooked and presented, and the chef was very helpful about adapting menus to suit particular diets. I would come back and will recommend the hotel to friends.

Quiet, simple, nice staff”
Good & value for money. Food was good but serving small. Price is reasonable. A bit far from town .....offer transport but not regular. Wifi works on Day 1& then stop. Disappointing. Close to sea but not suitable for swimming. Friendly staff but struggle to understand at times.
