Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. Clean and spacious. Reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. Night market is right at the door step and many eating places around. Linked to the ksl mall which is very convenient. Not too far from jb Sentral station. For those taking train or bus, or costs only RM6 by grab to get to the apartment.

Spacious apartment but dingy lift”

Check in was early and fast but the lift seems dingy and was not working so well... Apartment was spacious with three toilets inside and 1 outside. I would sayco, come here if you want the good location of being just right beside KSL and if you are traveling in groups and want to make use of the living room area and the kitchen.

Staffs are lazy”

Booking confirmation is confusing. As it only state KSL Hotel & Resort - Apartment. However Actual name is called KSL D'Esplanade Residence. Have to ask KSL hotel staff for assistance. After checked in to the apartment, WIFI is not working. 1st call down to reception - Male Staff (as through call) informed that this apartment is still in the mist of setting up wifi facilities, only when we question that upon check in a female receptionist informed us that wifi password is location at the living room. Only then the Male staff informed that they will send someone up. Of course never send at all. 2nd Time in the evening time, directly informed at reception. - The male staff informed saying - no wifi in room only at Lobby. - Once again, i questioned him about there is a WIFI router in room and also due to faulty power adaptor the wifi is not working. He then replied that he will go up to the apartment to replace and check on the wifi. Again no one came at all. POOR Service!

First and probably the last we'll book the apartment”

Booked the penthouse apartment and unit itself was almost perfect for big family. Unfortunately a couple of issues marred the experience: 1) the lift system leading to the units need a revamp. Takes up to 10mins each time to get into a lift. Sometimes it will miss a floor for unknown reason and we'll need to wait even longer. 2) there's no window grilles. Family with young kids need to take note. Windows can be open easily and you can fall out of i.e. 39th floor. 3) You can climb to the next unit via parapet from the Kitchen. No safety/security at all. 4) The door to the open space on second floor/penthouse cannot be locked. Kids can just open, venture out and possibly climb over parapet as well. If it's for groups of adults, I think the apartment is great. If you have young kids, its safer to stay at some other hotels/apartments.

Please maintain your room regularly”

1. There is no one at the concierge in the morning (before 9am) and we have to leave our bags at the hotel area instead. 2. Suggest to have phone within the apartment as not everyone will buy Malaysia phone card. Otherwise, please allow guest to contact the staffs through what's app or other online communication apps as some will have online data. 3. Suggest to have an internal travelling route to KSL hotel from KSL apartment if access to shopping mall is not possible during early morning time. We had to walk around as if we are explorers in amazon jungle just to get to KSL hotel from apartment. 4. Good place to stay for large group of people though.

2 day Break”

Only issue this time was there was no wifi in the room. Modem n wifi router was not in room 25-01 / Lift C4. The management claim some fault in the network. I requested to change room. Then they sent 2 technician to resolve the issue. But on the check out day also no internet wifi. My 3rd stay in this place. But 1st time having this issue. Other facilities were ok. Bed Toilet.ok For Tv was only available in 2 rooms but i was in a 4 room apartment.

Overall was ok for not fussy traveller”

1. All was good. 2. Master toilet bidet spray has a leakage and I guess they staff won't replace it. 3. Wifi was slow slow and keep disconnected at times. 4. Overall was good with near mall and needs for my family. 5. My is apartment 4 bedroom so the housekeeping will only comes in on the 3rd day. So to me it won't be so convenient to have rubbish in the apartment for 2 nights. 😷 6. On our 1st day we saw baby cockroaches in the toilet and living room area.

Great Location”

Stayed a night with my family and two young kids. Booked the apartment with private pool. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Room is especially spacious and can accommodate up to 6 pax at least with a 3 rooms and washroom. Our room is located at the 7th floor and conveniently connected to the bigger public pool, gym and playground. Cutting across to the Dinosaur Water Theme Park is a nightmare. Even the staff can give wrong instruction as well as the signages. Very misleading. Private parking separate from the mall gives that extra space and security. Will recommend.

Convenient location but needs improvement ”

I chose KSL apartment as it is family friendly and is spacious to fit my in law and helper. The apartment is generally clean, however there were mini cockroaches crawling around in the kitchen and in the master bedroom bathtub. Refill of bottled water was not offered though the price of per night apartment is more expensive than other nearby hotels (in consideration that this is an apartment managed by the hotel but not exactly an hotel). Facilities wise was ok but was very disappointing that entry to the dinosaur park in not free. Generally, the location is very convenient as the mall is connected to the apartment area.

Very good”

Staff were very friendly. Car parking was very secured with a security guard but access the the apartment carpark was not mentioned clearly thus leading me to wrongly park at the Ksl mall and hotel carpark. Cleanliness was not really good on the dirty rugs near the coffee table and small roaches were found in the apartments on several times. Other than that the apartment was all good.

Wifi”

The wifi is not strong in connection and was especially weak (or even unavailable) at night. Hope management could review and make improvement so we could have smooth surfing while enjoying our stay in KSL !

Excellent”

Good for value, convenient, i like the Apartment, spacious and clean.towels, toothbrush, showergel all provided check in is via another location, not at the hotel check in. Need to walk via Carpark to get to the Dinosaurs Water park.. i felt abit dangerous walking through the carpark...

Value stay ”

The apartment is really big and for group stay is really very good. But there are 2 problems 1st is the lift have to wait very long and keep spoiling and somemore there is only 1 lift to assess to the apartment. The other problem is the wifi the room suppose to come with wifi but end up cannot connect the wifi at all and when ask the staff she can still tell me it might be spoilt and that's it.

Good location ”

Booked 2x 4bed room and both were very spacious and nice. Every room has a toilet. The apartment side is just next to the mall. The mall has almost everything so it’s very convenient. The downside to this apartment is that there’s no free wifi (only at the lobby) and that some of the furniture are a little old. But other than that all are good.

Good for family trip”

Its our 3rd time to KSL Apartments (not the hotel). Large space, nice location, good food. The place is getting old, rusty fans, damaged sofa but considered acceptance for the value. Stay 4 days and will consider to come back again.

Affordable 3 BR apartment with private pool. Great with extended families and kids! Located in the heart of JB.

KSL 3-bedroom apartment”

Checking in/out was a breeze. Ample parking space. Good news is you have a wifi router in the apartment. Bad news is, wifi has very poor signal. Apartment was FULL of cockroaches from the kitchen, living area including sofas and carpet, to the toilet. TERRIBLE. Front desk is only available from the morning till 11pm. Not a good one especially when you have any queries after hours. No telephone in the apartment, so, in the event of an emergency, you're screwed for sure. Food, everywhere. No way this "resort" deserves a recommendation.

Worth it!”

This was our 2nd time staying in this apartment, and it was well worth the money. They even have wifi in the rooms now 😊 Will definitely come back again next time ☺️

Difference between Hotel & Resot and the Apartment”

We booked the apartment side (which is a whole other section of the complex) and it was awful mainly because of the staff. The staff, especially the reception, were unbelievably rude and not helpful at all. The complex itself is amazing in that anything and everything you could ever want/need are there. Grocery store, restaurants, coffee/dessert cafes, movie theater, pool, shopping, pampering are all there. You literally do not need to leave the complex at all. But I definitely recommend booking the Hotel & Resort and avoid the Apartments completely!

Apartment has no wifi and view is too closed to opposite condo”

The place is clean, safe. But for travellers like me who crossed the border for a one night stay, we didnt buy any calling cards as we thought there will be wifi. But neh. Apartment super close to opposite condo. I feel like sleeping in my own house in Singapore, minus wifi. Prefer the hotel than apartment.
