Nice and clean”

Another new-ish boutique hotel in the Masai area, and was pleased that everything still feels new. The koi pond right at the entrance was a pleasant surprise, and is a nice touch to somewhat fit the Kyoto name. Despite the relatively small room size, we liked the platform bed which made it easy to reach for our things. Breakfast was easy, with plenty of pretty decent choices from 2 coffeeshops. The area will inevitably get noisier with time as it gets populated, but for now, I really like the area due to lesser traffic and road noise. As with all boutique hotels, don't expect karaoke room level of soundproofing and you will find that it is very good value for the price paid. Presence of a security guard at night helped to ease my mind a little with regards to the safety of my car. Travellers without a car might find it a little troublesome to get to/from the hotel for other activities, because it's about a 10 min drive to Permas Jaya or 20 mins to Tebrau/Mount Austin.

Booked a standard double room, the room is comfy and clean. Love the concept of the hotel which is Japanese style. The location is strategic too which is close to many shops and restaurants. Surely will stay at this hotel if I were to visit Masai or Pasir Gudang in the future.

Even we just have a short stay (2 nights), highly recommend this hotel is u stop at Masai, nice Japanese style hotel, with brand new design. downstairs have alot of shops for eat. They have free massage chair to use. I like the shower room, water pressure very good.

Cozy location”

Easy access to food in the same area. And easy to call a grab to go somewhere else nearby. Internet cafe around the other side. Plenty of local shops for local cuisine. And not too far from the Masai bus terminal if you traveled from another city. Very friendly staff, couldn't have asked for a nicer person to be working there. I wish I recalled her name, but she was wonderful and her English was amazing. Room was small, and cozy but if you don't need a lot of space and packed light you'll be just fine. Private toilet, shower, air conditioning. Super easy for a couple night stay, would definitely go back if I traveled back to the area again.

Small room but that's expected from a Kyoto-based hotel. The staffs were friendly, but my only complaint was there's not many local eateries nearby. Even got no mamak. There's one tomyam restaurant, Sri Budi but that's about it. Unless if you can indulge Chinese-styled food court, or if you dont mind. Stayed for two nights, for my weekly meeting in pasir gudang.

Great Hotel”

To be honest, one of the best budget hotel I have came across. I am really fascinated with the japanese concept design style, and the mind-blowing see through aquarium below your feet at the lobby. Clean, new, hygiene, comfortable, and lots of eateries around with variety of choices. At such reasonable price its hard to find accommodation like this. Stayed here for continuous 2 weeks. Definitely will be visiting this wonderful hotel again.

Awesome stay, friendly staff, clean room”

We arrived late past midnight, was greeted warmly by Ms Siti and all thanks to her for the upgrading of our room! She's giving us the best customer service and has made sure that our stay is pleasant. Despite just a short stay for a few hours as we checked out quite early, we have to admit that the hotel is at top conditions. The efforts by the owner in renovating the hotel can be clearly seen. From the lobby, see through glass floor aquarium, up to the selection of room tiles, wallpapers, colour matching, everything is so nice. I highly recommended this stay!

Value for money, nice hotel with a low price! this hotel is most of the time full every weekends. Theres a reason why bcos its too nice to stay in! The Front desk staffs are also very friendly and greet us cheerfully especially the malay lady that works on night shift. thumbs up! I have stayed here the 4th time already... Definitely a return customer!

Don't arrive at midnight LOL.”

The receptionist was so-so. Don't understand why we had to pay deposit there and then. We arrived at midnight so we couldnt use our card (maintenance 12am - 1am). we were denied entry which is ridiculous. I suggested that we come back down once the bank card can be used but the receptionist wasnt happy with it. Sorry but I got pissed, only then we could go up BUT we had to leave our card at the reception. How stupid. Very small room. We were only in town for a night so not much complaints from us. Overall it's a cute hotel. Maybe business traveler or quick trip is ok, not for holiday purposes. Hotel located in Chinese area, no halal restaurants around. So for muslim travelers maybe need to rethink booking this hotel.

Safe and Clean room”

The hotel entrances has a big underground fish tank ... Reception at Ground level with 2more floors After 12midnight There is a security guard and the main door will be locked and open by the security which i find it very Safe and secure... Lots of coffeeshops, TIM SUM, satay, and moRe! Hardware store , 7-11, household store, carwash, massage parlour, car,bike workshop all within same area... Clean and nice area which is bright at night...can feel safe walking around the compound

i was traveling to pasir Gudang n the distance abt 10km from Kyoto, GOOD! New area nearby industry place (Kota Puteri), business center, you're able to find a lot of Chinese restaurant. Parking available after 11pm if you preferable park nearby hotel. Total stay 1N/2N/1N/3N/2N (extend)..

Awesome Service by the receptionist ”

This is my 3rd time stay in this hotel. The warm welcome by the receptionist Siti, is wonderful. Feel so homely every stay. Decent hotel at decent price, eateries surrounding the hotel so no need worry for the food. Will definitely come back again

Best cheap hotel”

This is the best cheap hotel... You enter the place feeling rich, with fishes under you... Hotel room is good, with everything at the right place and everything is working. Downside is that at night, the hawker starts cooking on a wok so you can hear them; either you can enjoy those homely cook scent or curse it...

Nice place to stay!”

Like the design of the family room, though it is not spacious, but good enough to occupied by 4 adults and 2 kids. The room is clean and cozy. The staffs are friendly. There are many parking lots just right in front of the hotel. There are many coffee shops in vicinity. Will be back!

Good place for a short stay”

The boutique hotel is quite new and nicely maintained. A lot of FnB stalls nearby. Room service staff needs to be attentive to notice that the room service signage is difficult to detect, no hung behind the door knob so not noticeable.

Very friendly and helpful people at the front desk ”

I stayed here before at the deluxe room and liked how the room was really clean. Which is why I decided to upgrade to a business room this time round. Really loved how the business room had a clean bathtub. Spent my time soaking even though was tired and initially wanted to just sleep. Pros : Clean Easily accessible Friendly and helpful staff Cons : No snack bar downstairs (they're upgrading it, will have in a couple of weeks) The internet connection is a little slow in the room due to their thick 🔥 proof door.. (spoke to them about it and they said they were talking to their technician about it) But all in all, if you want to relax, I highly recommend this place!
