Best hotel I stayed at in Japan”
I stayed in a room with two twin beds. It was definitely cramped by western standards, but it fit everything we needed just fine. I especially liked the hotel amenity shelves in the lobby, as well as the option to rent pillows. The in room air conditioning was also very good, and quickly got our room to a cool temperature and could keep it there after only a few minutes of cooling. The breakfast was nothing special, but consistent, and convenient. The location of the hotel is also very good. Less than a 3 minute walk to Kyoto station, very close to many restaurants and convenience stores, as well as a grocery store across the street. The only complaint I had was that the in room refrigerator did not have an ice box. Overall I would undoubtedly stay here again if I ever find myself in Kyoto again.

Comfortable and cost-effective hotel.”
Nice location that near by the Kyoto station, which you can take JR / metro / bus easily. There is a convenience store and supermarket in the around area of the hotel, and it's close to the Kyoto Yodobashi, so it's good for shopping lover / family. The room is clean and the bed is soft. Also, the compliments is excellent which includes masks and hot spring powder. Highly recommend if you wanna stay in Kyoto.

We love how convenient the hotel is located - just 3 minutes walk to the Kyoto Station and bus terminal. There is also a Lawson convenience store right beside our hotel. Although the room is compact, we were delighted to find a tub in the bathroom, maybe this is Japanese hospitality because bathing and onsen is such a big part of their culture. The other plus I have to comment - is that there are alot of freebies given at the lobby for guests to pick and choose (from sunscreen, brushes, shaving cream, mask, pillows, etc). Guests can choose to take what they want, which I feel is more sustainable. This is a good solution for the possibility of overproviding if its given in every guest room, which may ended up being wasted or unused but thrown away by housekeeping.

Awesome place to have an adult time out”
I was traveling alone in hostels and I just needed a nice place to reset and get my head back into traveling. I was not having a very good trip as things just weren’t working out. I took the time to relax and rejuvenate at the hotel, it was comfortable, clean, staff were helpful and I am going to stay again when I come back to japan

Great location”
Picked this hotel for the proximity to Kyoto station. From here we were able to easily explore the city. Convenience store is close by (3 min walk). Many restaurants in the area as well. Rooms and bathroom were small but clean. Tea, coffee and other amenities available in the lobby for free- you simply take what you need. Would absolutely stay again

Nice, clean, modern hotel with great location”
It is such a great modern little hotel with great location and value for money. Just 5 minutes away from Kyoto-station and everything is still new when i visit. The bed is also great for taking a good rest. With the promo price i still get a room with a Kyoto tower view :D

We like this hotel alot as the hotel has good location. Staff do let us checkin early without any charges which most of the hotels do not provide such services. Staff is nice and patient. They have an area which chess and mini pool table game were provided. Room is big enough and very comfortable. Will definitely recommend to our friend.

Nice Hotel”
Hotel is about 10 min from Kyoto station and bus station, easy access to public transportations to various attractions and other parts of Japan. There are malls and restaurants nearby. Room is bigger then some around same budget and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There are washing machines and dryers so it’s great.

lovely retro style hotel, we would love to comeback”
Location is 7 minutes walk from Kyoto station, on tranquil site with two Lawson supermarket close by. We start with nice retro style little lobby which provide everything from hair tie, extra pillows to hair oil for free. We booked two small rooms buts suprisingly the lay out is smart and nice and enough to lay 2 big suitcase on the floor, two big enough fluffy single bed, rooms are new, simple and really cozy. Love the stay, and already recomend this small to a friend . Totally value for money.

Reception staff specially the young man very kind, good speaking & friendly, the hotel near kyoto station just only 5 mins walk, Lawson is nearby hotel, n the room even is small but their amenities is completely like 5 star hotel, during my stay 3 days 2 nights, breakfast almost the same & f&b staff should be more improve their attitude Cz thy never will welcome their guest with smile like front desk staff.. their housekeeper is very politely, I love their front desk & housekeeping staff a lot.. will definitely come back stay again.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. A short walk to Kyoto Station which is a hub for the subway, buses and the JR. Excellent and reasonably priced eateries under the Kyoto Tower (food court) and under Kyoto Station (Porta Restaurant area).

Cosy, modern and obliging”
Pros: Provided accessories on a daily basis for customer use such as face cream, hair brush, face mask etc. The room was small yet homely, with a balcony access. Near the Kyoto station which is always a good thing. Staff were helpful, friendly and always smiling. Very obliging at all times, a truly unique Japanese culture. Cons: Breakfast buffet while good was the same everyday. Changing out the menu helps to relief the mundane food Japan is famous for.

Right opposite the train station. Can see Kyoto tower from our room, 7-11 right next door. Can’t be more convenient. Very clean room with everything you need. Great hotel with budget price, highly recommended

Clean hotel and friendly staff”
The staff speak English and were friendly making our stay enjoyable. The hotel was clean and close to the train station/subway which made traveling around the city easily with two young children. We would stay here again.

Hotel is just across the station & next to the Kyoto Tower. So we have an excellent view from the hotel at night. As we stayed 2 different nights, one staff remembered us and made us feel very welcomed. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the staff.

This place is a gem! Staff members are so friendly, clean, you get to pick amenities upon checking in (some guests take more than they're supposed to get, very sad!). Lastly, very close to the station, restaurants and shopping centre.

I can’t say anything bad about this hotel. The location is fabulous-a 5 minute walk from the JR train station. The rooms are small but totally adequate. Everything is spotless. They even have a pillow bar where you can select the pillow that is just right for you. The staff are lovely and very hard working. Would definitely go back here.

The location of this hotel is very convenient, only 5 mins walk from Kyoto Station. Convenience store just next door and supermarket just across the street. We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased to get a room facing Kyoto Tower, very pretty view at night. Will definitely go back to stay if we go to Kyoto again.
