Great Hotel”
We really enjoyed ou stay here, we stayed in a room with three beds, what it never felt cramped. It was in a great location, and we could borrow bikes to get us to all the places we wanted to go to. Highly recommended, if you don't mind lots of wedding guests in the hotel with you.

Excellent French dinner”
We drove hence may not be too accessible for guests taking public transport as it's quite a distance from main road. About ten minutes walk to Ginza Dori. Triple room size was comfortable, proper beds instead of sofa bed. Excellent staff, and French dinner was great. Breakfast can choose either western or japanese. we chose the western, the hotel make their own ham, sausages and jam. Will stay here again if I visit karuizawa

The hotel is located in the middle of Karuizawa station (15 min. walk) and Kyu Karuizawa. (10 min. walk). Scenery of hotel is great and room is spacious and cozy. Customer service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay here. Well recommended to all.

Need some improvement I guess?”
I know this hotel is old age one, so in a good way, it's very classic and nostalgic hotel. on the other hand, it's just old. Wifi is not strong enough to work here. It took a few minutes to open my Google Slide. And some facilities seem not well maintained. There's a few things to be fixed. (Well I think they are gonna improve tho.) And wall is thin a little so that I can hear sounds other guests next door make. Location is good. And buildings are cosy and calm which makes me feel comfortable. Overall, I like this place, but, hmm, the last choice to stay for the second time?

About 15-walk from the station, a bit far but acceptable. Room is small but good enough with decent environment. Breakfast is awesome with fresh food!

Lovely hotel”
Stay during new year. Hotel offer a count down party. In the morning they took us to watch sun rise in the top of mountain and visit temple. During breakfast there was a drangon dance and other japanese activities to experience. Overall it was very nice stay. All of staffs here are very nice and did the best.

This resort made us love Karuizawa”
I cant remember the name of staff but there's one guy which can speak English so well and there's a tiny activity for the valentine coming day which made us a great fun. Room was clean and got enough facilities but in winter, that area was too quiet and we need a bar but they didn't tend the bar.

From JR station is not very far away, but as the road in front of hotel is covered by ice and snow and one of the lamps on street is out of order and so not clear for me to see the condition on street. It is scary to walk on it at night because of slippery.
