Exceptional”
What a place! Treat your self! It’s worth all the money you spend. My friend and I got lost (our fault) and were tired and almost canceled. Called the hotel because we wouldn’t get there till after check in hours. They told us don’t worry and come anyway even though we’d get there after dinner. We get there so late but they had a note written in English and allowed us to eat dinner. My friend and I were so touched. The food for dinner and breakfast was great! As a westerner it was my first hot spring experience and I loved it. The room was beautiful and the view of Mt. Fuji is out of a dream. I have food allergies and they accommodated everything and changed the menu for me. We made plans but never left the property. Don’t book less than two days. You will be so mad at yourself for not staying longer. Just a note: if you are coming from Tokyo get on the bus from Shinjuku. It will take you straight to the station. It is the easiest way. They also have shuttle service.

Amazing getaway”
At first we thought it was a bit pricey but we wanted to splurge a little for our honeymoon. The trip turned out to be worth every penny. The shuttle from the bus station was very easily organized. Check in with smooth. Private Onsens were surprising very available. The room design was a little dated but super clean none the less. The amenities were wonderful. The 8 course dinner was delicious. Breakfast buffet selection was great. Amazing place. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Exceptional”
Waking up with the view of Mt Fuji was top notch! Great experience for us honeymooners. Worth every penny! Hotel has private onsen so my husband with tattoos had the chance to experience this Japanese way of relaxation and cleansing. Hotel has no convenience store nearby. Better to buy your food and supplies at Kawaguchiko Station before proceeding to the hotel. Restaurant in the hotel will only open depending on the number of guests checked in. Over all experience was great!

Absolutely stunning view and impressive meals”
I was staying in the double room with mt. Fuji view. View was majestic during sunrise as it was not blocked by any clouds. Room was clean and meals were fantastic! Highly recommend to book the option with the meals provided. It was a fine-dining 8-course dinner and we enjoyed every moment of it! The private Onsens were great too.

One of my best stay ever”
I often travel on my own as I addict to travel photography. My only aim in my recent travel was to take some good photos of Mt. Fuji, and that why I picked La Vista. The view from my room at La Vista was stunning and the mountain was within my eyesight for the entire day. The room is clean and tidy overall, I m particularly delighted with the drip coffee tools inside the room. The Furo facilities were great though I only used the private Furo. The 8-course dinner and buffet breakfast were in good quality and the service was great. The shuttle bus need to be reserved in advance and no service around noon time. The redline tourism bus from the Kawaguchiko station will stops at the art museum near the hotel so it was okay in general. The driver is nice and helped handle my luggage on and off bus. I would highly recommend la vista to those who love to capture the view of Mount Fuji and enjoy some relaxing time at the resort, it might be a bit remote for those who aim to travel around during the stay.

Most comfortable Atas hotel with alot of awesome facilities and stuff”
The price tag was high, but it was worth it when we stayed there for one night and utilised all their services and facilities. There was an awesome private onsen with different themes (5 in total), and a private bath in our room (but we did not use as the weather was too cold outside). The view was superb, with us being able to wake up to the view of Lake Kawaguchi as well as Mount Fuji. It would have been even better if we could soak in the bath at the balcony while viewing it, but it was too icy outside, so we took a view of the scenery behind the safety confines of a balcony sliding door :D We only stayed there one night, and we wished we could have had more time to relax there. It was a short walk away from the Lake itself and we managed to take a brisk walk there by the lake just before we checked out. It is advisable to use their free shuttle from Kawaguchiko Station, and the driver was really friendly and cool. In the evening we get some free ramen, so that is cool too.

2nd time to stay, still remine an extreamly good service like the first time”
It’s no doubt to book again for my second time visit, you’ll receive the premium service start from the hotel shuttle bus, the hotel is kind of the resort village, Mt. Fuji view is covered all of the room with outdoor private bathtub, the room it’s a Japanese style garden interior, make you feel warm and relaxing, furthermore, there are two public hot spring and 5 private hot spring in different style you can enjoy, which is amazing. For the breakfast buffet, it’s awesome with diversity of choices you can taste. Definitely will stay in this hotel again :)

A very nice hotel!”
We got a room facing Mt. Fuji. Our room has a balcony and next to it is the bath room with a "heart" shape bath tub. You can enjoy coffee and Mt. Fuji view in the balcony or in the hot bath tub. The "heart" shape bath tub is not too big but is still good for 2 person. The hotel also has 2 public onsen (1 for male and 1 for female) and 4 private onsen. The private onsen is not so big, but I think is still good for 4 person. Both dinner and breakfast are good. Staffs are very helpful especially the shuttle bus driver.

Awesome staycation”
My girlfriend and I were chose this place for two things - room with a view of Mt. Fuji and the private baths/onsen. We got both and a whole lot more! They have free shuttle service to and from the hotel (make sure to reserve), free light snacks in the late afternoon, a western style course meal (if you book for dinner), free ramen in the late evening, free ice pops after onsen and a buffet breakfast that comes with your room booking! The private baths are open 24 hours. We love it! Thank you La Vista Kawaguchiko!

Great Atmosphere and Friendly Staff”
Nestled in the corner of some small mountains, La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko is tucked back from the tourist bustle that accumulates near the lake's edge of Kawaguchi Lake. It was quiet and had a really classy ambience, without much pretense. It seemed like every room had an amazing view of Mt. Fuji and the lake (though it was rainy/cloudy the entirety of our stay). The hot tub was a nice luxury to come back to after a day of walking about. The food was good (and abundant). I would definitely recommend this to anyone going on a small quiet, getaway.

Great view of Mt Fuji after snow”
The hotel was great. Fast courteous check-in and explanation. I speak very little Japanese, but they were very helpful. The private onsens were great to use and there were 5 different types. We also had a hot tub in the room with a view, but it was almost checkout but the time the clouds cleared and we could see Fuji. We also got the breakfast in the morning and it was very good with both western and japanese style. The seared tuna was fabulous.

Don’t miss this experience! ”
You don’t even have to leave the resort to have an amazing experience! The resort and its staff pamper you with amazing food, beautiful rooms, private on balcony onsen as well as private and public onsens. We did not want to leave. Wear your complimentary pajamas all around the resort even to dinner. Spectacular view of Mt Fuji.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji! Great food ”
The view of Mt Fuji when it’s not hiding is truly breathtaking! The dinner offered at the hotel is also excellent, akin to fine dining. We only wish they would also provide more flexibility- we were not able to opt for Japanese course if our kid sticks to the western meal. You also have a choice of public onsen or private onsen at no charge. Staff seems abit jaded although there were a few sincere front desk staff. In addition, they will only pick you up from 2pm so if you should arrive earlier, you need to make your own arrangement to get to the hotel ie cab or lug your luggage uphill for at least 15min if u choose the nearest bus drop off.

Worth spending the extra money.”
This hotel had the best possible view of Mt. Fuji! Great view from the lobby, amazing view from the room and balcony, and even sitting in the nice hot bath, the view was unbelievable!

top hotel!!!”
the hotel has the best location to see Mount Fuji - the rooms are well equpped and big, the Spa area is as well really nice. the food was for dinner overwhelmed - we had one of the best japanese waiters there - her English was brilliant and the quality of the food was really good. The free of charge shuttle bus was as well always reliable. The minibar, midnight Ramen soup and some goodies in front of the spa are as well really nice. The price is really high - but worth!

This is a must stay ”
What a place, private bath on the balcony with views of Mt Fuji! Room was very nice and had a lovely feel. I would make sure you ask for level 3 onwards, the room the first visit on the lower floor you had to stand up out of the bath to see Mt Fuji (first world problems) on our second visit we were high which made it a lovely experience just sitting in a warm bath looking over the valley lake and seeing Mt Fuji. Staff lovely fast check in each time, free bus, lovely breakfast.

The hotel and staff is very nice. There are several private baths to go. Remember to book dinner if you need to have dinner there. The ramen in late night is good.
