We had an amazing stay at Larmont Hotel Sydney by Lancemore. The location of this Hotel was just perfect, just a few minutes from the train station, just away from the hustle and bustle of busy areas. The cleanliness of this hotel was outstanding absolutely spotless. All the staff at the Larmont were extremely friendly and helpful, polite, nothing was too much trouble. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, the room was superb with views of Sydney Opera House in the distance.

Convenient location, funky rooms and top notch service”

We stayed at the Larmont the previous year and we were impressed with the convenient location, and having entertainment, food and bars a stone-throw away. Having lived in Darlinghurst many years ago, this is a familiar location. However, the level of detail with the room and top notch service was an added bonus. This time, we returned to the Larmont and we managed to get an awesome room with views over the Sydney Harbour for three nights and we probably didn't utilise the room to its full potential, as we were out and about too much. But it was great to have one of the most comfortable beds in a hotel to come back to and wake up to blue skies and the view. The staff were international, super-friendly and able to connect to us immediately to talk about Portugal, Italy and their own travels around Australia. The other guests in the hotel were like-minded and we felt at home. We will be returning!

Staff service (especially Roberta) were outstanding”

We stayed recently for 3 nights at the Larmont Hotel Sydney. From the moment we arrived Roberta made us feel welcome and managed to check us in 3 hours ahead of official check-in. Because it was my 50th birthday she kindly upgraded us to a spacious room with a great view and delivered a bottle of wine to our room. Nothing was too much trouble for Roberta and the staff and we will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this hotel for the staff service and price. Thanks Larmont!

Superb stay in Sydney ”

We recently had an excellent stay at the Larmont hotel and would highly recommend. Staff very friendly - went above and beyond to help with any queries we had. Breakfast (was included in our deal) was superb! Would advise getting included because was on the pricey side if didn't include. Room was fairly small but had great views over the city. Well equipped with minibar and nespresso coffee machine/pods. Hotel offered x2 complimentary items (non-alcoholic drinks/food) from the mini bar each day and we received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Had 24 hour access to the anytime fitness gym next door which was great. Hotel is situated in the same building as multiple offices so although there is an open reception area there is no hotel bar. However 2 minute walk away from lots of bars and the King Cross tube station so it wasn't a problem! Despite very central location and nearby to lively neighbourhood the room was quiet. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Secret Gem ”

Probably the best value for money hotel in the KX area. Amazing location right behind the iconic Coke sign in Kings Cross. The rooms are very clean with a modern and cosy vibe. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. The Larmont is hotel of choice while visiting Sydney.

Wow.... what a sexy and cool hotel”

I was moving interstate and needed to stay in a hotel for 2 nights. The Lamont was nearby so I booked a room for myself. I was incredibly impressed by the warm welcome by the well presented, friendly & professional reception staff. My room was large and the view of Sydney Harbour was amazing. I felt like I was in a swanky & sophisticated New York apartment, with style & function delivered in spades. The place was really cool and luxurious, but without the tacky bling that some other hotels feel is needed (it’s not). As for the sleep experience, the king bed was insanely comfortable and I slept perfectly. The internet was fast, the movie system was packed with the latest films and the hi-def screens (yes there was one in the bedroom and one in the lounge) provided a stunning picture. I particularly enjoyed the well designed walk-in robe, and the bathroom was like being in a day spa. 10 out of 10... 👍

Perfect boutique hotel”

I stayed at Larmont for 4 nights with my parents on holidays I love it. The location in Darlinghurst offers lively local life with plenty of eateries and public transportation is minutes away. Most amazing is the caring and friendly staff which I prefer over the robotic & scripted staff of bigger chains. Room interiors were well done and I love having access to a full size gym Anytime Fitness in the building. I wish all of my hotel stays would be lime this.

Second stay and highly recommended ”

My second time here and the sixth hotel I’d stayed in over the past two weeks and by far the best- location is excellent just behind the Coca Cola sign in Sydney which any taxi or uber can find, easy Check-in, rooms are modern, clean and spacious with comfortable bedding/ selection of pillows. Mainly though it’s the many small touches that make this place stand out- a Bose sound system that actually works with new phones, well equipped mini bar and snacks (and they allow you to have a couple per day as part of the room cost which is nice though the alcoholic drinks obviously aren’t included in that), Usb Ports next to the bed, Nice toiletries and towels, a Nespresso machine with pods and a proper little container of milk unlike most hotels that provide a couple of little sachets if your lucky. Staff were friendly and efficient and overall it made a great last stay before coming home.

Really enjoyed our stay . Stayed for 2 nights . Room was really nice . Very clean and modern . Value for money is really good . And the bed is extremely comfortable. Suited us really well as we went to Potts point for dinner and it was just a 5 min stroll through the cross .

First point, the hotel was just next to Kings Cross station... so convenient! The room was perfect! It was big, had a nice view, very clean and well decorated! Last but not least, the staff was really helpful and friendly!!!

Changed my unwanted stay into a " looking forward to coming back "”

Bright welcome, given a upgrade with a amassing view of the harbour , plus a complimentary drink with canopy's & to top it of had a mid-day checkout . My stay was made topnotch for a unwanted reason to be in Sydney - thank you .

1. Amazingly friendly staffs at reception. Throughout my stay from 9/1/2020 till today, they are more than helpful to help with my queries 2. Amazing room especially pillows! I slept very well indeed. . My writings initially planned, was completed on first night stay. There is a red stain left near the sofa from I presume previous client(s), but it did not bother me. However hope it is better fixed soon or next client may complain 3. Onsite car park and gym. Car park a bit small but that saved me from fine(s) using on street car park. Gym is fabulous l. My next plan is to do yoga there when I come back 4. Kings cross train nearby The only complaint was, from my room, apart from harbour view, the harbour bridge could no longer be seen. The initial premise was for me to have the view to inspire my writing. Therefore, honest explanation to prospective client(s) regarding this could have been done. Nevertheless I have enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely be back

Fabulous Stay”

I use to stay here when it was the Diamont but now I feel it is much better service wise. The staff were delightful. Bubbles on arrival. And the best surprise - I got upgraded to a corner room on the top story with incredible views. Modern decor and comfy bed.Lovely welcome note with yummy chocolates. Gorgeous toiletries. The location is super convenient (recommend taking the train from the airport as its very easy). Only downside is with Diamont you use to get a free pass to Fitness First and now its Anytime Fitness :(

Pleasant Stay”

A nice hotel in a good part of town (yes, I know this area had a reputation in the past but has improved significantly since then). Staff were friendly, rooms were quiet with good beds. Only issue was the rooms felt a bit tired, but overall I would stay there again.

Beautiful modern hotel room that didn't feel like a hotel room. Modern interior, quality finishings and quirky touches. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. The only con was the wooden cutlery. Good intentions but not practicable. The 12pm check out was fab as was the 2 complimentary items from the mini bar.

Great Location”

Nice hotel and great location! Train station very close by, with lots of supermarket and food options just around the corner. Staff were very pleasant too. Just a few small issues that made the stay less than perfect, showers are a bit small and a/c wasn't stable (could get very hot at night).

It’s great! ”

Booked 2 terrace rooms for a place to crash after a work function, rooms are big and spacious. There was enough room to stretch out, plenty of storage, modern bathrooms in both rooms and the place was ultra clean. Would definitely recommend, will be staying there again!
