"Very clean, beautiful, well-kept guest house with a great rice field view. It’s close to many restaurants and just a few minutes drive to the beach and Canggus most famous beach club. The friendly staff is available at any time to answer questions. Lastly and important for me; the WiFi is fast and stable, which is rare in most hotels/guest houses in Bali. "

"I have stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. In general, the staff are attentive, friendly and warm. For example; I was greeted by name before checking in. Everything runs with a system. Not much waiting required. I have stayed in 7 different 4* hotels in Bali and this is by far one of the best value for money and comfortable one. Located in a quieter spot in seminyak but 10 minutes drive from seminyak square. I like that because you don't hear loud music or traffic. Walls are generally thin so if your room is near the lift lobby, you can hear conversations or footsteps. Pick a room further away from the lift if you are a light sleeper. Service staff are generally nice and warm. They will provide assistance in a jiffy without having to wait Long. I avoid breakfast in the hotel not because it's not good but I love to venture cafes. The breakfast selection in the hotel is decent. "

"Another fabulous stay at the KK3, we love coming here. This was our first Christmas in Bali & the staff were very helpful and keen to help make our Christmas a wonderful time. We were fortunate to have friends & family join us for dinner and a small party. We had a brilliant time & the staff seemed to enjoy our festivities also. I cannot thank Ibu Pipin (sp?), Agung and the rest of the staff enough for the great time we had. You always welcome us warmly & ensure that everything is to our satisfaction. I best not forget Roxy who always welcomes us and occasionally visits us in the villa when invited in The KK3 is now also offering breakfast and we were lucky enough to try it out. My fiance had the American and I had the Indonesian breakfast, delivered to our villa.....both were delicious! We can't wait to see what the KK3 does next. The KK3 is in a brilliant location and well worth staying, still no sign but easy to find once you know it's opposite "Sun Island". The only downsides...the music at Ryoshi is getting louder! But thankfully finishes by 12:30 so we of the light sleepers can get some Zzzzz's. The other hassle is the mozzies, even though they regularly spray it's best to buy some coils and wear repellent to fight them off, but hey, it IS Bali & the mozzies love some sweet Aussie blood like mine :) Thankyou KK3, we will be back for sure. "We stayed at The Maya for a week, we had 5 days booked but after a not so enjoyable stay at another Sanur resort we decided to cut our stay short at that resort & move to the Maya 2 days earlier. I am so happy we did. It is so beautiful, tranquil & the service we recieved was truly 5 stars. We were lucky to be upgraded from the garden view to a pool view room which was greatly appreciated, thanks to Barry the Duty Manager who was so helpful to us during our stay, thanks so much Barry. The pool view rooms have a table & 2 chairs on the balcony where as the pool view rooms have a very comfy day bed to lounge on. The rooms are all spacious with all the amenities you could want. Breakfast was ample with your eggs cooked how you want. Also the cappuccino was great something you would expect from a 5 star property. Staff @ breakfast & in the restaurant were lovely, friendly & so willing to please, a big thankyou to Krishna & Padmini who looked after us during breaky & dinner. Padmini went over & above when realising my husband was sick in bed with bali belly on our first morning she came to the room with bread & tea so he didn't miss out on breakfast. The pool over looked the beach & was gorgeous & my only complaint about the pools in Bali is they are not heated, l like a heated pool. This hotel is well worth a look if staying in Sanur it is probably one of the best as it is a boutique hotel. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Maya Sanur."

"We selected this hotel to ease into the beginning of our 3 week trip to Bali and it’s quite possibly the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in across all my years of globetrotting! The hotel itself is beautifully designed and laid out, particularly the landscaping of the grounds which harmonise so well with the local environment - it’s a magical place. We opted for a deluxe room which as spacious and clean, modern and well designed with a gorgeous big bath. The hotel was quiet and never seemed crowded so it was easy to chill out. The hotel had magnificent grounds with two infinity pools looking out into the “jungle” and paddy fields. We particularly enjoyed the small infinity pool at the bottom of the grounds accessible down steps or lift. The view here was so lush and green with a waterfall and river running through it - it was a totally immersive experience and so relaxing. Buffet breakfast was fantastic in terms of quality and it was lovely sitting in the covered open area of the restaurant looking out over the gardens. We only had a couple of negatives to submit; firstly we chose this hotel specifically for its tennis court as we are keen players. When we arrived we were told we would have to pay extra to book and use the court even though we required no coach, and we had brought our own racquets/balls. It just seems excessive at a hotel of this quality and stay price , that guests should pay extra for something that is listed as a facility. We’ve never come across this before and it takes the shine off the stay a little. Unfortunately, I slipped over whilst playing tennis on our final morning (nothing to do with the courts, just my unbalanced play!). I fractured my wrist and required urgent medical attention so the resident nurse was sent to look after me, who wrapped my wrist and gave me painkillers until I could be transported to local hospital. Whilst the hotel staff were helpful in getting their shuttle car to drive us the short distance the"

"We stayed at totally five different hotels in Bali, and the Nirwana was by far the best of them. Its really nice situated right by the sea and the view is breathtaking. There are only few rooms, so the area, restaurant and pool are never crowded. There are many nice things to wee nearby by taxi or motorbike. The hotel offers a good transport service. The restuurant is a bit pricy, but its worth it!"

"We have stayed in couple of hotels in Bali and really did some research, the Inaya is far the best hotel in nusa dua in terms of money value, great clean beach, service is not to mention excellent, room with pool is highly recommended and breakfast is diverse and just incredible. For example, hotel next door is st. Regis(where presidents stays ), using the same beach therefore the location must be great. First we booked 3 nights and than decided to stay 3 more and after visiting Ubud ( must see jungle town- in hotel Udaya, great hotel) we went to Kuta, Seminyak booked 3 nights and were vary disappointed with the dirty beach, so we went back to Inaya to go home with great memories from Bali. "We stayed in Adi Dharma hotel for two nights from April 28-30. This was the first time we visited Bali and stayed in Adi Dharma hotel. We had a fantastic experience! I can say, which I mean it, Adi Dharma hotel is the best hotel I've ever stayed! It has nice location, great facilities, and excellent service. We appreciated the friendly staffs and excellent service! We arrived at the hotel at around 9am, the hotel was nice enough to schedule us a room for early check-in. The hotel also provided car and driver in a competitive price. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We booked a car to Ubud for a one day trip, but we left a baggage at the car. We didn't think of it in the last day we were in Bali when we packed our luggage to airport. At that time we've already checked out and in another hotel in Nusa Dua. We contacted Adi Dharma hotel to see if we can go to pick up, unfortunately the car was out for a trip with other guests, they would be back after 6pm, but our flight was at 8:30pm. The staff told us time would be too tight, and they were worried we would miss the flight because we needed to be in the airport 2 hours in prior to the flight. At last, they offered to send a car to deliver our baggage to the airport for us. At 6:30pm, we met the driver from the hotel and got out bag back before the flight at the airport. We were thrilled and moved by the service. Thanks so much for their help! We could never imagine a hotel would be so considerate and customer oriented. "

More about Bali

Bali is a world away from the rest of Indonesia, and a longtime favorite with international travelers. Surfers have been coming here since the 1930s, but it wasn't until the 1960s that surfing vacations to Bali became the popular thing to do. Today, the trend continues and Bali sees as many surfers as it does affluent resort tourists.

Indonesia may have the world's largest Muslim population, but Bali fosters its own distinct culture. Hinduism has flourished here for nearly 2,000 years. Away from the beaches are fascinating Hindu temples, cultural exhibitions, terraced rice fields, and colorful festivals.

Kuta is the busiest resort district in Bali, featuring some of the top luxury hotels in Bali. Behind the main waterfront is a spread of budget guesthouses that are still within easy walking distance of the beach. From here it's a short trip by taxi or rented motorbike to Uluwatu, a massive limestone peninsula jutting out in the sea. Tourists visit Uluwatu to see the temple, go surfing, or watch the sunset over the majestic cliffs.

Legian is another must-see, as it offers an excellent surf along with exciting nightlife along the beach. Life in Legian begins and ends on the beach. Surf shops give lessons by day, and then give way to lively bars and live music venues after sunset. There is a reason that Bali is often referred to as paradise, and much of it is evidenced by a visit to the many beaches.
