Awesome hostel and facilities. Everything is so nice. Good location. maybe can improve for heater in bathroom (some time not functioning), and floor quite sandy. The PC might be needed for upgrade i think haha

Great location, friendly staff that provided helpful tips for the day trips I made. Clean rooms and common areas. Relaxing patio area. My bed was comfortable. Only downside was sometimes noisy at night from nearby bars.

Really love the theme of the place, very unique and gives the place its distinct character. Loved the privacy and extra security of the gates installed. Location and view may not really be up to par (for me) but it's not hard to find. Plus it's near the bars and eateries. Facilities are basic but enough for me. Worth the money for a night's stay. Wouldn't mind going there again.

Good location. Paper thin walls, loud, stairs, sit on toilet to take shower, will not recommend”
Very difficult to get any sleep. Large party below our window past midnight. Myself and another tenant complained but the staff could not control the tenants partying. Obviously no quiet time observed. Shower was warm but felt as if you were in a recreation vehicle. Would not recommended

Comfortable stay and warm, friendly staff”
Lovely and cozy, the hostel is centrally-located. Walking distance to Jalan Padungan and the Kuching Waterfront. We were fortunate to have booked the last double room with windows on the top floor. Security is good as the hostel uses access cards. Breakfast was simple - sausages, eggs, jam, peanut butter and there is coffee making facilities. Bathroom needs some improvement: Sink - strainer & drainpipe need replacement. Floor strainer needs to be cleared of hair & dirt. For the shower, the low water pressure can't be helped. The staff is always the stars. Mimi and Ash (I hope I got his name right) were lovely and friendly who made us feel at home. Thanks, guys!

Very social hostel but bad shower ”
Pro: very social place, met great people there, staff speaks good English and is very helpful, I was in a single room without window Cons: dark single room, no window, no air con!!!, the shower did not work in two floors, only one shower for the whole hostel was working, for me a reason to leave the place, because this one was next to the kitchen and the common area! Common area as always in Asia too cold, sometimes no toilet paper and also no lock to close the toilet ... I was glad to leave!

Good: Great, friendly receptionist. Accessible. Walking distance to waterfront. Quiet. Can be improved: Though it's a hostel, the premium room should at least have a tv.

Cosy, good atmosphere. There weren't many guests when we stayed there so it was quiet. OK WiFi, will disconnect or be slow every now and then. Simple breakfast but very nice (the jams are delicious!) Staff is just ok.

Excellent stay!! ”
For over 4 weeks this has been the hostel I returned to after making trips. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very nice and helpfull. The dorm is very spacious, can definitely recommend them: you get excellent value for your money! The entire place is clean and the laundry service is just excellent as well: washed & dried clothes within 4 hrs for the standard price per kg in the Kuching area. The location is near the waterfront, the carpenter street and just perfectly located in Kuching. Beneath is a cafe with good pizza's and nice atmosphere. The best value for your money and to have a relaxed stay in Kuching! Definitely recommend Le Nomade!!

Very noisy surrounding, only book here if you have no problems sleeping with heavy background noise”
There should be better noise isolation measures done with the room, especially the windows where the noise originates from. Shower room has no lock and has low walls, ladies pls note. But again for this price, what more can be expected? If one can overlook the major 2 flaws stated, I'm sure you'll have a pleasant stay here

Cozy place to stay”
Pro - nice communal area - nice outside terrace - friendly staff - tea and coffee available all day - comfy rooms (some nicer than others) Cons - internet not great in rooms - en suite bathrooms really need updating as quite old and dirty and badly designed - ensure sheets are clean before guests are shown into the rooms. Over all great budget stay

3rd floor forgotten by owners and staff”
For our stay we took basic double room which appeared to be on third floor. This was big disappointment ... Floor in corridor on 3rd floor was dirty and not cleaned at all while our 4 days stay (same stain welcomed me each day). It is unacceptable as you are requested to leave your shoes on staircase and walk without shoes all time. Seems it used to be nice hostel but it great years passed already. Due to staff approach would recommend other place.

Nice little budget stay”
Great budget stay, staff are really friendly ( but would be useful if they could brush up on their knowledge of the area etc) Rooms are cosy and feel like you are staying at your nans, on our arrival the room we we given our bed was covered in hair (not all from one person) and crumbs, but when we asked for clean sheets they moved us to another ( nicer) room. The rooms come with a little bathroom(toilet and shower) they really need updatingw as they are quite damp and a little odd there is no sink in the room as you then need to use the communal bathrooms to wash your hands or brush your teeth. ( I ended up using communal shower as it's quite tight in there) Really nice communal area with lots of books and a nice outside balcony. Also free tea and coffee available all day which is nice. Overall really nice little place, would recommend. (If the place was cleaned up a bit it would be really lovely)

Acceptable”
Located in the center of Kuching drinking hubs. Staff don't really understand English. Room has musky smell. Bed sheet was stained so I requested to change, they tried reasoning with me saying the stain is actually oil (after maintainence), I took none of it. Then the guy finally unwillingly agree to change it. 2 of the beds were still in plastics that made a lot of noise when we were trying to sleep. Floor was sticky as well...

Exceptional”
My single room had a fan, no air-con, only 1 power outlet. A bit small and basic. It's a floor above the lobby (meaning 2 flights of stairs), so beware though with cumbersome luggage. A+ for shoe removal outside the door. Shower facilities are fine, it's a shoi-let, with a sink outside (but the tap didn't work). No toiletries provided, but there is a towel. Kitchen is nicely stocked and kept clean, at least during my stay, people were mindful and tidy. Nice balcony to sit outside. I didn't try the breakfast since I had to leave before it was ready. The staff are quite friendly and charming. I would probably stay here if I ever go back to Kuching, also I would consider the dorm if I had to save money. They looked quite spacious.

I would say it is a very suitable place for the backpackers/ tourists who wish to get to know more friends from different countries. The staffs are quite friendly also. For me personally, I would say cleanliness is the most important, Le Nomade is clean and neat, I like it a lot. Overall, if you're looking for a place to sleep, and to meet new friends, I would recommend Le Nomade.

The staff was friendly and informative. I like the dining area. Location is good too but you have to walk a bit farther for some good choices of food. Wish the aircon in the single room worked, it was a bit stuffy.
