Well situated in the bustling suburb of Kings Cross, with easy access to The Opera House, Bay Bridge, Darling Harbour, Royal Botanic Gardens, St. Mary's Cathedral, all with in walking distance. The suites are basic, but the larger rooms on the upper floors, have cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery, microwave etc and sleep 3, and offer the best value in Sydney.

This hotel in Roslyn Street in Kings Cross, was formerly known as Lido Suites. Well situated, close to shops, restaurants, supermarkets, post office , buses, station, the rooms on the upper floors are spacious and well equipped with fridge, cooking facilities, 2 beds, so can sleep 3!

Location is great, so many cafe and nice restaurant around the hotel. close to city and Bondi Junction. Staff are very friendly and helpful I will come back and stay again

Stayed on a weeknight”

The foyer was a little off putting (run down & dirty) but the room was tidy but very basic. Staff were lovely. We only chose this hotel because it was close to the hospital & just a place to put our heads down for the night, so it was fit for our purpose, I just wouldn’t recommend it otherwise as I’m sure there are much nicer places to stay for not too much more money.

Didn't look like it did on your site. It was under renovation . The elevator was old and run down jolted every time it stopped . The manager was friendly but I was there for two weeks and never had a proper service. The sheets on my bed were never changed.but the bed was comfortable and the room was okay .

The reception is attended very on and off so you might be in a situation if you are arriving at odd times. The location is quite good as it is very near to the Kings Cross center. However, Kingscross gets very quiet by 12 am. The beds have wheels so it moves as you move, which is very annoying. There was no soap in the bathroom and you have none to contact about that. The facilities are very basic. Only choose this accommodation if you are getting the room for a very good price or do not care for a luxury stay.

Worst hotel ever”

I deeply regret that I chose this hotel for my accommodation. This hotel was the only option for me that looked relatively reasonable in this area for the week including New year, yet I paid more than AUD1400 for 7 nights. And totally it was not worthy. I consider myself a rather tolerable person. As others say in their review, the hotel is old and not very clean. I could put up with that. However, I decided to check out this hotel in 2 nights knowing I still had 6 more nights and it was not refundable. 1. A huge cockroach appeared in the room on the 1st night. 2. Room cleaning was not done on the 2nd day, even though I put "clean up the room" sign on the door. These experiences were enough to make me leave the hotel. I felt they are not serious about their business. So disappointed.

Room was nothing what we expected. Window was broken and couldnt be closed so we had cockroaches walking around. Room wasnt that clean either, aircon or hair dryer didnt work. We had a room with a kitchen but didnt had much stuff there so it was pointless to pay extra to have bigger room. You hear everything from the street. Pay littlebit more and you can have much better hotel.

The room was basic but spacious. The location was good for access to Kings Cross and the CBD.

Good location but not well maintained”

It was in a good location and the room size was good, but the room was not very clean, the window was cracked, the curtain kept falling off the track and the soap etc were all empty. The place doesn't seem to have been maintained well (fittings etc).

Do not stay here. The room was dirty. The bathroom had poo around the bowl the shower was dirty and there was mold all around the floor. The bathroom window was cracked. There wasn't any light shades on one of the lights in the bedroom. The chair that I sat in went through the floor. The room wasn't made up on our second night and there were no towels They wanted to put $200 on hold in my account I refused the receptionist then phoned his boss asking for permission not to take my money. They agreed. This was one of the worst hotel ive ever been in.

I had to clean the room When I arrived it was disgusting Curtains and rods fell out of the wall The key didn’t work and u was locked out of my room 2 nights in a row in the early hours of the morning I am still waiting to get into my room at 836 am in the morning You watch thes k of refund I bet there’s none Never ever stay here. Appalling Another couple had the same experience they had to plsy polices to waste away the night hours Totally below standard beware

Very good photography in the ad!”

It’s a budget option that’s located within easy reach to the city. Positioned in a questionable neighbourhood. Room was acceptably clean and had been attended to decently besides the bathroom which had significant mould and scale throughout, to the point where we decided not to use the shower. Photos in ad show it to be quite stylish, quite the opposite with very dated and rough fixtures and limited comforts beyond towels and blanket. Can hear people in rooms beside and above. Staff were friendly and happy to assist with an after hours key collect and drop off. In the end it’s a bed for the night, that’s it.

This place was so awful I had to check out the same night. There was mould in the ceiling, the floors were slanting, there was bubbling paint in another part of the ceiling, the hand railing was bent in the bathroom..... Never again!

The staff at uno hotel made the stay worth it went above and beyond Lana is the nicest and most customer focused person in recent times.

Lana at the reception was very friendly and accommodating although i showed up in late hours and also helped me with my concerns about the room.

Worst place I’ve ever been”

Cleaning was horrible. Not clean at all, no one in the reception and I also got locked out of my room cause the key card didn’t work. Had to cancel and look for another place to stay. Don’t go there if you don’t want to waste your money.
