Beautiful resort with great food and staff”
The onsen (hot spring bath) is very pretty and relaxing. The buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room was lovely and had a view of beautiful autumn foliage. A relaxing getaway and enjoyable in every way.

Quite far away from Nikko city ”
The hotel is located quite far out from Nikko city unless you drive. If you are travelling by the highway from the city there will be a charge of using their tunnel 260yen and 150yen per trip. The hotel has their onsen which has both outdoor and indoor pool. Great onsen.

Not convenient if you don't drive”
On the website, it said they will have free shuttle to Kinugawa Onsen Station, but in fact, they only have shuttle to Kawaji Yumoto station, and it's not everyday that they have shuttle, and when they do, only 1 time per day. If you are carrying luggage then you have to walk. It's not a long walk (around 7-10 mins), but it's still different than what it promised on their website. luckily it didn't rain during my stay. Their staff speaks very poor English, so if you don't speak Japanese, be prepared yourself with translation tools.

Like the cave-like indoor bath. Love the three outdoor baths. My favourite is the breakfast. Room is not the best. Hallways need improvement. Husband does not liking the dinner.

It was a scary experience going to that hotel at night.”
I was travelling from Nikko city center to that hotel at night time around 8 o'clock, it was complete dark along the way. There was an old building next to that hotel and the view at night look just like a horror movie. The hotel is sooooo old, the wall, floor and facilities in the room are very very old. The worst part is, the room I stayed didn't have a bath room and I wasn't able to have a shower that night.

家族3人で利用しました。 かなり格安で宿泊したのでこんなもんかなと思いました。 スタッフの方は感じ良かったです。 他の口コミにもありますが建物が古いせいかメンテナンスが出来てないのか古びた感が否めないです。 私は館内の匂いが気になりました。 建物内禁煙のはずですが廊下でなぜか葉巻の匂いがしていた箇所やカビ臭い箇所あったので改善して欲しいと思いました。 あとは、食事会場が寒すぎです！ せっかく温かい料理をご提供されているのに直ぐに冷めてしまう。もったいないです。 館内を節電節約されているのかもしれませんが食事会場くらいは暖かくして欲しいと思いました。 冬は上着１枚多く羽織った方がいいと思います。

2人旅”
今回旦那と2人で利用させてもらいました。 料金も安かったし、それなりに楽しく過ごせれば良かったんですが、、 二度と利用したくないと思いました。 まず、フロントの女性スタッフ、、感じ悪すぎます。いくら田舎のホテルだからって、一応フロントに立つ人間なら客として来てるこちらに対してもう少し笑顔で対応出来ないものでしょうか。。 やる気がないなら辞めたほうがいいと思います。 それと2食付きのバイキングだったのですが、朝、夕ともに内容は満足しました。 写真で見るようなすごい豪華なものではなかったですが、味は美味しかったです。 ただ、夕方のバイキングの時にテーブルに小さいゴキブリ這ってました。 最悪ですね。。 部屋は写真で見た雰囲気とそこまで違いはなかったので良かったですが、窓の網戸が破れてたら、手すりのところが蜘蛛の巣だらけでわりと大きな蜘蛛が数匹いました。気持ち悪いです。 窓から見える景色は秋なら紅葉もあって綺麗に見えたんでしょうが、、廃墟ばかりで不気味でした。 2日目の朝はチェックアウト前に部屋でのんびり過ごそうと思っていたのですが、トイレに大きいゴキブリが出現し、、気持ち悪すぎてチェックアウトの時間までかなり時間があったのですが、結局すぐにホテルを出ました。 旦那と2人で夏季休暇をとって来たせっかくの旅行が台無しです。 女性スタッフと虫の件がなければ、普通に過ごせたと思いますが、最初から最後まで気分が悪かったです。 今後利用することはないので関係ないのですが、他の口コミの方の内容を見る限りでは何も改善されていないみたいですね。 残念です。

家族で行くのは微妙かもしれない”
小さい子供がいる旅行でした。衛生面など、かなり不安になるところもあり、施設の老朽化も気になりました。リフォームされている部屋の半露天風呂のカーテンがかなりよれてしまっていたり、昔からある廊下や階段の天井も剥がれているところもあり、 よかった点は、料金が安かったところ、露天風呂特に朝入ると光がたくさんありきもちがよかったところ、アメニティが比較的充実していたところです。

値段の割には部屋も広くて食事もまあまあおいしかったのですが、ところどころ掃除が行き届いていなくてあまり人に勧めたくないホテルでした。部屋にあるコップの汚れとバイキング会場の食器の汚れなどがかなりひどくて、印象を悪くしてしまいました。全体的に倒産しかけたホテルをリブマックスが買収してリフォームしたような雰囲気を感じさせます。コスパは悪くありませんが、せっかくの旅行ならもっと良いホテルを選んでも良いかもしれません。

孫と一緒に家族旅行しました”
孫を連れて行きましたが、卓球など無料。 朝夕食は子供が喜ぶものが多く、館内は少しくたびれた感がありますが、内装をされていてそれほど気にはなりません。チェックアウトも11:00なので子連れにはとても良いです。大人同士でも楽しめます。

立地が良い”
電車で行きましたが歩ける距離です。自然いっぱいの中の温泉地といった感じで、ゆっくりするには丁度良いです。駅にコンビニ等はありませんw ホテルは朝食付のみで泊まりました、ご飯のお供が沢山あった美味しかったです。明太子ととろろ芋が個人的に嬉しかった。 温泉も気持ちよく良かったです。 ただ折角のマッサージ機が壊れてたのでちょっと残念でした。 またコロナ明けだったのでお店は殆ど閉まってました。 夕飯はホテルから坂を下りた先にあるラーメンいかり店にしました。味も美味しくボリュームもありオススメです。その先にある商店も良心的な価格でした。 またゆっくりしに行きたいと思います。
