Don't book this hotel!!”

This hotel is closed. It is not operational. We arrived, but it is a ghost hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no wifi, no swimming pool. Smelly room. The owner has sold parts of the property, because he needed money for debts, we heard later, therefore there are fences, you can't go down. No swimming pool, we didn't see it. Don't go there, try other hotels.

very nice stay but unfortunately we could not enjoy the facilities as they were closed following an eruption of the lokon so no swimming pool, no access to the beautiful garden but peacefull and very calm. the restaurant was close but they have a partnership with a local one that is really nice

Kind of lied about their hotel”

The hotel was really more like a guesthouse.good view of mountain but it seems the hotel photos reflect the old property (now Lokon Hotel School), not the new one and it seems a lot of people get confused by this failure to update. There's no internet, no real grounds to the place, no pool, no facilities. Location is not really close to town so expect to need a mikrolet ride to get anywhere. There's no active phone line if you want to contact them either.

We enjoyed our evening at the hotel. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast the next morning. The view of the volcano was spectacular. It was well worth the money.

Lovely cottages with Lokon mountain view”

We stayed there for 2 nights, relaxing after some diving trips. It was the best decision to escape from the more crowded Manado. Tranquility, fresh air, and great views of the mountain !!

Noisy but beautiful location”

Lovely scenery right in view of your eyes”

The view when you entered the resort is breathtaking, Mt. Lokon is there right before your eyes, as if you could reach and touch it... We arrived around 1pm at the resort and the check-in process was smooth. We booked the Deluxe type room and was assigned Soputan. Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned when we arrived and we have to wait for around 20 minutes while the room was cleaned. The room was basic and not air-conditioned, which should be okay given the cool climate. However, the room feels quite stuffy since air circulation is provided through a small mesh-covered ventilation above the window. Opening the window was not an option since it is not covered by insect-screen. The bed was set with clean linens although the pillowcase / pillow has a smell like it is not well-dried. Probably the pillow itself needs to be aired under the sun. The breakfast is also basic with tinutuan (local porridge with vegetables and condiments), bread with spreads, juice (concentrate), coffee and tea. Overall, a nice place to stay with beautiful scenery that needs more effort from the management to maintain and improve the staying experience.

Beautiful hotel lost in time”

This is both a strange and beautiful place. The location at the foot of the (now active) Gunung Lokon makes for a terrific view and the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. The rooms are comfortable and furnished as I expect a Swiss grandmother might furnish a mountain lodge -with delicate lace details, small oil paintings and squaeky clean. The grounds are encircled with Swiss and Indonesian flags and hidden side rooms provide lodge-like lounges. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and dotted with little follies. Gorgeous pool and though it is open to the public, it offered a little "life" to this otherwise hauntingly quiet place. Except for the outstanding service of GM Stefan and Augustiano/Augustino (?) the remaining staff flitted in the shadows like ghosts.

We had a pleasant stay and the staff where great. The resort has been around for some time and possibly needs some tlc but the rooms are clean and gardens very well kept. The restaurant was little low on choice.

Quiet area, rooms are spacious. Temperature is much pleasant, because you are in the mountains. Restaurant does not serve much choice, but the nasi goreng and satay are great!

Petite surprise à l'arrivée, le taxi ne trouvait pas l'hotel! En fait, celui-ci a changé car il a été divisé en 2, une partie étant en réfection. Nous étions donc dans le "New Lokon Boutique hotel" : pas de piscine, mais une terrasse avec une vue superbe sur le volcan et la campagne environnante. Accueil très sympathique, petit déjeuner copieux servi sur la terrasse, un personnel très aimable, aux petits soins car nous étions les seuls clients... Les chambres sont grandes et meublées ds le style colonial. Nous nous sommes bien reposés durant les 3 jours de notre séjour, malgré la pluie, car nous pouvions admirer le paysage!

Pemandangan di depan kamar langsung ke gunung Lokon jadi bisa liat langsung pas matahari terbit. Udaranya dingin poool. Kamar luas dengan furniture yang klasik. Sarapannya mie goreng (enak bgt) dan roti dilengkapi selai secara keseluruhan saya senang

Suasana nya sangat tenang dan pemandangan depan kamar langsung terlihat Gunung Lokon. Sarapan variatif dan lengkap, staf sangat membantu dan ramah. Tidak begitu jauh dengan Bukit Doa & Pagoda, bisa meminjam mobil ke hotel.
