"Sea View is the best hotel in Koh Chang… i did a bit of traveling around the island and that is my feedback Location is one of the best points… it is next to the view point where everyone goes to take the best photos …the great thing is you see this view all the time!! The hotel is a good size but it still seem very personal and beautiful, staff are great and zoo helpful and the hotel grounds are very well designed ( even if you need to take a cable car to breakfast… thats something quite unique and the view at breakfast are amazing ) Food is ok, internet is ok on the beach and at the lobby… not in the room as yet…the town of Kai Bai is nice and less commercialized than other places … "

"We originally intended to stay at White Sands Beach but fortunately for us there was no accommodation available for our required dates - and so we found ourselves experiencing the best ever check-in service at the Amari Emerald Cove Resort. That first night we dined at the Just Thai restaurant and had one of the best thai dining experiences ever. Next day we did decide to upgrade our room to one with an ocean view - but for the amount of time we actually spent in our room this really did not make a lot of difference. We found taxis plentiful out front of the hotel and never had to wait for transport. We found this mode of transport to be most suitable for the occasional visit to White Sands Beach and to visit the great local restaurants and massage just 2-3km up the road towards the elephants and waterfall. We were able to swim twice a day at the hotel and also hired kyaks from the hotel at very reasonable rates to checkout some of the islands close by. We also hired an automatic motor bike just out front of the hotel and went exploring to the waterfall (to the north) and to the fishing village markets down south. At the fishing village we lunched at Buddha View restaurant which proved another highlight of our trip. We also availed ourselves of the local tailors to bring home some custom made garments - so we have some great souvenirs of our time on Koh Chang. I think the location was just the best to experience Koh Chang. Close enough to visit White Sands Beach to enjoy the noisy festivities but able to enjoy our stay in the peaceful surrounds of Amari resort and the many local attractions nearby. "

"This is the most beautiful Resort in Koh Chang Island I've been here on March 20 – I have stayed in many different hotels in this Island compares to others this is the best Resort. The Resort itself located on the beautiful Beach and when you go out from the Resort very nearby is biggest Tesco Lotus Supermarket, 7 Eleven, the main city where you can enjoy the City life as well. Worm welcome with big smile by Front desk staff, Spacious room all the rooms on first floor touch the Swimming pool water from the room you can jump direct to the swimming pool while you are enjoying the swimming with your partner can see the best sunset view. The Swimming pool starts from Reception all the way goes down to the beach very long, beautiful infinity pool. Room is very nice, large with all the amenities, very neat and clean. Marvelous Architectural design with full of beautiful trees. Breakfast is all day long you can take it at any times you want. Lunch & dinner have plenty of choice the test of the food is fantastic with great service and the price is really reasonable. For the couple Candle light dinner would be the best on the beach. I had a very good relaxing massage which release my all the stress from my brain and made me sleep the therapist do the massage from deep of their heart it makes me fill it. Perfect environment for holiday, relaxing The Resort have the best free shuttle service when you are sitting in the care the seat will massage your back I love it. I certainly recommend this resort to everyone. "

"It was really best hotel I have ever stay before! Not 5, 6 or 7 stars!!! So nice and stylish, everything is made of wood, room is amazing (superior room): really huge with a soft bed, coffee machine and several varieties of tea and coffee, cookies and many snacks, aroma lamp with a pleasant lemongrass smell. When I have arrived- senior manager met me and showed everything they have (private island with a transfer and kayaking, pool, gym, sauna, spa...). When I decided to have kayaking- staff had transfered me to a private island waited for me all the time I was there. After kayaking when I came back to my room I had found there 2 desserts for me and my honey. Great surprise!! So, if you are still not sure which hotel to choose- this one is really the BEST hotel in Koh Chang!! I recommend!!!!!! The second 5 stars hotel in Koh Chang Amari is much worse!! We had compared it both, Amari concedes on many criterias."
