"We were on a 3 weeks holiday through Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Hakone, Tokyo & Hokkaido). This was the best hotel we stayed in. Location is excellent. We came from New Chitose Airport by direct train (no transfers required, which is important if you have kids with you) and got off at JR Sapporo Station. The hotel is connected to JR Sapporo Station via the underground mall. So in winter (we stayed there on 1 to 3 Dec 2017), you wouldn't be exposed to the cold from the airport all the way to the hotel. The hotel is about a 5 to 10 mins underground walk from the JR Station. One major draw of Sapporo is the winter illumination. That was 5 mins walk through the underground from the hotel. So again, excellent location! The major shopping and nightlift area of Susukino is also connected through the underground walkways. We booked a triple room with breakfast. The breakfast was amazing! Food was good and service was great! Just an example, they served 2 types of fresh milk. One was an organic fresh milk and another was a local Hokkaido fresh milk. Another example was that the pancakes and waffles station had whipped cream, cream cheese, maple syrup and 6 different types of honey to go with the pancakes and waffles. A first time ever I've experienced such detail at just one station. The soft boiled eggs station had a little rock placed there with a sign that said "stone for cracking egg". It was a little humorous but yet another little sign of attention to detail. We stayed 2 nights and I was looking forward to the next day's breakfast. There are just so many things I could say about this hotel that totally made it a very memorable stay. This is the hotel I would stay in over and over if I were in Sapporo again."

"The Sapporo Park hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Japan, and I would definitely consider coming back. The staff and service levels are excellent, and the breakfast is good. I had a problem with my reservation when I checked in over the Christmas period – my own fault – but the staff and management at Front Desk were very helpful and they resolved my reservation issue straight away. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants, and just minutes away from the main streets. The subway station is also right next to the hotel, and located one stop away from central Susukino and Odori stations. There is also a hotel shop downstairs in the lobby if you need snacks and drinks. The room is nice and comfortable, although still small as usual for Japanese hotels. I booked a family room and had expected it to be bigger. But it is just a standard room with an extra bed in it. If you get a room facing the park, the views are just gorgeous. The park next to the hotel is lovely, we were there over winter, and it was still so nice to go for a walk there. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we have nothing to complain about. I will definitely consider staying here again if I ever return to Sapporo."

"Very impressed with the hotel's 5-star hospitality. Room was great and staff extremely helpful! Though not next to subway station, it's convenient with a bus stop for many bus lines running right in front of the hotel. Short taxi trips to many key locaions. Stayed at other Sapporo Hotels but would still choose Renaissance again."

"Not many luxurious and spacious hotels at the price of around 80 SGD per night for a standard room could be found in Japan but luckily we did at Royton Sapporo Hotel. The hotel is just 5 mins walk from Nishi 11 chome station which is one stop Otaru and one stop from Sapporo station. The main lobby is very spacious and elegant - not too crowded. The lift has an open view of the city while its going up and down. Our room is twin bed standard room and it is huge. The beds are very comfortable. So many lighting and lamps in the room making it elegant. It has a coffee table for your quick meal or snacks. The TV has mainly local channels and one CNN. No complimentary water provided but it is generous with toiletries. The toilet and bath are huge, very clean and with tub provided that is fast & easy to fill water. The heating is perfect for a cold winter’s day. Safety lock is also provided and the wifi is quite fast. There is mini mart just across the hotel. Indeed it’s a very relaxing stay."

"The hotel location is superb. The room although a little but small but as a typical japan. This would consider average. However, the view is fabulous ( try all 4 sides and still like everyside) The service staff has no flaw here. I can only think of few other hotels that has a more impressive service than this one (those are not in hokkaido and also come with ridiculously expensive price). The breakfast is average to 5 stars level The hot spring is nice consider this in the middle of sapporo (of couse you can not compare with ryokan that located in natural onsen area) Overall, it is the best hotel in sapporo in term of quality, No matter you are business man, couple, or family. "Both me and my husband loved this place. Great infrastructure and conveniently located within walking distance of the beautiful Lake Shikotsu. We stayed here for 3D2N from 29/11/16 - 01/12/16. By this time, it was already snowing in Hokkaido. The hotel is probably not fully booked at this time as we often find ourselves exploring their lounges with nobody else in sight, excluding the hotel staffs. The staffs were extremely pleasant and very attentive to our needs - they are accommodating to our dietary restrictions and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The staffs there speak meticulous English and some try very hard - we are so glad that we did not meet with any communication difficulties. If you plan to get to this hotel without paying a bomb for the taxi, be sure your flight into Hokkaido meets the last free hotel shuttle bus. Otherwise, you'd consider paying for the shuttle bus to the lake which stops operating at roughly 1630hrs. If all else fails, a 20-35 minutes cab ride should cost ¥7000-8000, which was what we paid for. We cannot tell you enough how beautiful this onset ryokan is. It's truly gives an authentic Japanese experience. All in all, we would definitely recommend this place! And we will definitely stay here again when we visit Hokkaido."
