Great hotel in beautiful peaceful surrounds ”
We were very well looked after at Ma Villa - we visited from Bangkok by taking the train to Pak Chong, then a bus to the general area of the hotel, but got a bit lost - we called reception and they just sent a car for us - much appreciated! it's a new hotel, the buildings and their gardens are beautiful, and the location gives great views of the mountains and countryside of Khao Yai. The hotel is a little isolated - you really need a car, or at least bikes in order to get around, as there's not much within walking distance other than the very nice scenery. But this means that the area is very quiet, with very little traffic, so sitting out in the gardens is very relaxing. The hotel offered to arrange a car rental for us, or a car with driver - we chose the latter. We were driven around to a few local attractions, inside and outside the national park - a nice day out. The hotel restaurant has fantastic Thai food, some of the best I've had in several years in Thailand, so we were more than happy to eat there both evenings. We chatted to the hotel owners over dinner, who were very friendly - they told us that they're planning to add a swimming pool, which is something to look forward to. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and we'll definitely be back.

Pleasant Stay, Nice Staff!!”
I stayed with my friend and her mom for 2 nights. The room is big enough for not making 3 of us feel uncomfortable. The room itself is new & clean. Since it is family own business, you can feel real Thai hospitality there. The Owner is kind and she made my friend's mom happy. The Hotel is not far from Attractions, but staying out of main road (Thanarat Road) make it quiet and closer by nature. You can feel environment of Khao-Yai by staying at Ma Villa.

Wonderful establishment, almost in every aspects.”
Ma Villa undoubtedly one of the best place to stay in Khao-Yai. We're overwhelmed by the hospitality from the staff and even the owner herself. One can sense the extra care taken on each and every details of the establishment. Foods are extraordinary. Probably I've tried the best Stir-fried Beef with basil :D. Definitely, going back when we will have time in future.

Gem of a find”
We found this place last minute after a late night in Khao Yai. The hotel is a little out of the way but that just makes it better, we had a car so was no hassle for us and it is located not far from the art Museum. The rooms were great and very big for standard and we had the whole outdoor area to ourselves as we were the only ones there :) Had hot Thai soup delivered upstairs for breakfast which was delicious. There was also plenty of wildlife to keep us interested and a resident tokay lizard which was awesome. Overall we could not be more happy with this hotel and will definitely be back.

Good location, good food and helpful staff”
Overall, very good. We will recommend to friends. Good location - near to the vineyards, Khao Yai National Park and the sun flowers farm. We had dinner there for 2 nights as my family like the home cooked food.

New and nice!”
Located nearby to the crowded area of Khao Yai (near the Chocolate Factory), this hotel is in a great quiet spot and rooms are very big and nice, amenities and facilities provided are great and the balcony is a really nice area to enjoy the nice mountains breeze especially at night. The rooms feel very new too. Breakfast there was porridge which was also delicious.

Great experience with this hotel”
This hotel is very nice and clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I stayed here including breakfast. The breakfast has only Thai style ricr soup and Americans breakfast that all you can order with staff unlimited. The hotel quite far from main road but you will get a quite place to stay in Khao yai.

Hidden gems in the mountain”
Was deciding between this new place and Sasima (previous stayed). Glad I made the choice. Ma Villa is family run little hotel. Room is spacious and brand new. Had good view of the mountain on quiet street 5 mins. Rare feature on a rural hotel - a clean water. People take it for granted when you stay at bigger hotel (100+ room). Many small hotels such as this one run on wealth. And the hotel treat their water well. Something I couldn't say with other ones. Service was first rate. You're treated with a welcome drink upon arrival. The host was very flexible when we wanted to change room (better view). Even maids and guards were well-mannered. Minor annoyances: Internet signal was spotty. Works fine in lobby and barely get signal in the room. Bed was on stiff side for my taste but some people like it that way. Overall a pleasure stay. Would definitely come back again. Wouldn't be surprised if the price goes up next round..!

Exceptional”
Great place and would definitely stay here again! It's close to Khoa Yai National Park entrance. If you stay, it would be helpful to have a car or scooter since the location is a bit of a distance from the main road with all the restaurants.

Quiet Luxury for 35bucks”
When you book a place at this price, you manage expectations. However there was no need to do so at Ma Villa... The room was gorgeous, spacious and comfortable, the grounds were well kept and pleasant with TWO POOLS! Everything worked well or better than our room at Ibis impact Bangkok a few days earlier... There's even a rainshower and a nice balcony to hang out overlooking the lovely garden. The staff were also very accommodating, always there to greet us even late at night and even accommodated our request for breakfast in the room (we left them a nice tip). Speaking of breakfast, it's ala carte, with choices of a simple American breakfast or a delicious pork porridge with lots of condiment options. It's about 3km from most attractions, closest being the sunflower fields and primo Piazza. Khaoyai is quite spread out and I'd recommend getting a car at the airport (us30 a day) to drive out here and get around town. All things said, can't recommend this place enough :)

very clean and private”
It is probably the cleanest hotel I have been to in Khao Yai. It is also very quiet suitable to someone looking for peaceful vacation.

Excellent service beyond expectation”
My stay at Ma Villa could not be any better. Is there a word that is better than "perfect"? Given that I came here during the weekdays, the hotel was very quiet with only a few customers. It felt like I was staying at my own country home. Given the price which is not very expensive, the equipments and furnitures used in the room are better than what I have in my condo!!! I went up to the reception to find out the brand of the bed. That's how comfortable it was. Food was also fantastic, although it didn't look 5-star, it was delicious!!!! To sum up my experience in 3 word, "I'll be back".

Value for money short stay”
We know we will arrive at khao yai late therefore a decently priced and clean hotel will do for a night stay before moving on the our destination. Overall room is nice and clean with minimal but adequate amenities. Breakfast needs to order from menu style but the taste was good. Special thanks to Noi who made our breakfast and made us feel very much at home. Overall our stay was pleasant and will return again if going to khao yai Pak Chong area.

Nice weekend trip out of BKK”
Pleasant stay. Room is large and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The only minor point (not so important for a one night stay) is that there are no English TV channels. Can be a little challenging to find, but the staff is happy to send someone on a motorcycle to pick you up if you are a little lost. Relatively close to many restaurants and to main sights (Khao Yai, Chod Chai, wineries, etc.)

Comfortable and well-appointed rooms”
I've stayed at Ma Villa three times in the past 2 years. It's a comfortable, well-designed hotel with kind staff and nestled in the Thai country side. If you're looking for a quiet getaway this is a great hotel to consider.

A little pricey for what it is, but a nice place away from the commotion of Khao Yao”
Some of the comments that were made earlier on Agoda are correct, some aren't. We liked the fact that Ma Villa is quite isolated, away from tourists, and yet it was close enough to the National Park and the wineries. The staff that welcomed us was friendly but I can speak Thai so that made it easier. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant has outside and inside seating. We could only use it for breakfast though, which meant that we had to look for alternatives every night. The hotel recommended a small restaurant not far away called Jowhook, and it was a little gem in a way. The breakfast caters more to Thai tourists than Western ones, but everything was fresh. On weekdays there is no breakfast buffet and you have to order a la carte. In one of the rooms there was no hot water, the other one was OK. I'm not sure that we would stay here again, but for a couple of nights it's really acceptable.

Ma Villa.... homely feel ”
Homely ma Villa has very nice breakfast... love the porridge. Staff were friendly but they don’t understand English much... hard to get your requests right. No hairdryer and kettle in room... ma Villa was far away from the eating places so pls eat your dinner before heading back. Otherwise room service is still available for some simple dishes like fried rice and fried noodles. The place has a homely vibe and it’s clean... could have been cheaper if the facilities were not so complete

an ok stay”
Although the location of Ma Villa is good, the side road leading to it was kinda bumpy- that added a little to our traveling time. The best thing about Ma Villa was the breakfast they served. In my opinion, everything else was just passable and not worth the price I paid. One thing we didn't really like was that we had a complete water outage on our check out day, and that is on 30th December 2015. We did not have any water for more than an hour - there were no staffs informing us of this and we had to ask to get confirmation of the said incident. There was no advice on the recovery time or contingencies on how and where we can get water. We had to take our own initiatives to use our bottled water to brush our teeth. Luckily we were not in a rush to check out - or it would have been pretty disastrous.
