Great hotel on your way to Koh Chang”

We had a very nice stay at our hotel Maneechan Resort. We were looking for an alternative to sleeping in Trat and this hotel in Chantaburi was a great choice. If you're looking for gems than Chantabury is a great city. And the hotel is a wonderfull place to relax. There was a wedding going on but that was not noise at all. We took a songthaew taxi from the bus station to the Laem Ngop pier were we had immediately our boat to Koh Chang. A 2,5h trip in total. Great

I had any detail information for Chantaburi because it was a first time to visit. But when I arrive in Maneechan resort, I felt comfortable with kind staff and well controlled facility although it was so old. Location was not good, it was not possible to go somewhere by walk. But I used free shuttle when I wanted to go somewhere and came back to resort easily. I recommend this resort esspecially family tour when you visit in Chantaburi.

Elegant mountain hotel”

i was pleasantly surprised with maneechan resort. i was visiting recitatives and needed a place to stay for the weekend and chose this hotel. i must say it was a very pleasant stay. the rooms and service top notch with beautiful furnishings and view, the grounds where very well maintained and the pool and swim up bar where stunning.

Tranquility resort in Chanthaburi town”

Been stayed in Maneechan resort over the past 20+ years, it's still well maintenance in proper condition, the service is always courtesy, efficiency and warmly, ABF with fresh blended fruits juice and fresh brewed coffee is a bonus, peaceful surrounding with gardening gave me a good rest at night. Although the rate is a little bit high but it's worth.

This was our first time to Chanthaburi. We liked being at the resort. Our initial thought was that it was too far from the gemstone market, but their van service was always available to take us and pick us up. They also arranged for us to go to the local beaches, which we highly recommend. We had some problems getting plane tickets and the hotel manager went way beyond the call of duty to solve our issues. She helped us order and purchase the ticket. Because we purchased the tickets so late, we had to pay cash. It was late on Sunday night. They actually used their account to pay at a local ATM. We just had to reimburse them. Great, Great, Great Service. Only some people knew English, which we liked. We don't like to travel where everyone is a foreigner.

Lovely Stay”

My son and loved loved every bit of Maneechan Resort. The whole set up was sort of magical, the staff was very gracious and the food was excellent. For tourists it would be much more comforting to have some good english speaking staff to attend to small needs. Otherwise everything was just excellent.

Good facilities & location”

Pros: Location, Facilities Con: 1. Room cleanliness upon arrival. Before checking in the guest, the hotel should have inspected the room. 2. Spa was never available for us when we requested or even booked in advance. We stayed here many times but were not even one time lucky. 3. Breakfast was not as good as before. The decoration has changed but looked too simple. 4. Staff were a bit layback and likes chatting to each other. This time was too obvious. However, some staff were still very good. We still love Maneechan and like to stay here every time when we travel to Chanthaburi. Management should pay more attention to these small details for improvement.

Have been staying here all the time I visit chanthaburi Rooms and facilities are nice staff is good well trained and breakfast is great. Only lacks a location not too close for people visiting African market for buying stones . Will recommend the hotel to review the location on google map as its completely wrongs leaves you in a jungle but on Waze its correct.

The Maneechan was one of our most pleasant stays in all of our trips to Asia (12) The hotel was very clean, staff was excellent, sports club, morning cappucinos, shuttle service all inclusive in your stay. We will definitely return

Beautiful Resort but the Food is Terrible”

This is my second stay at the Maneechan and overall it was a good experience. The staff is very polite and helpful, the room was clean, modern and well furnished including a large screen televison, and it has a very nice pool. The price was also quite reasonable considering the quality of the accomodations. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again, but next time I'll plan on having dinner somewhere else.

The hotel is resort like. Nice location, beautiful surrounding, greenery and great food. Lovely staff and nice ambiance. The hotel is properly maintained, large rooms, clean and excellent swimming pool. We had a marvelous stay in Chantaburi at this Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Restaurant for the typical Thai food and some exquisite sea food dishes. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. My only qualm was that the restaurant closed a little too early each evening

this hotel is the best in chanthaburi. it is a short ride to downtown but tuk-tuk costing about $2.00. restaurant has some of the best food in the area and they have a wide choice of items for the breakfast buffet. pool is never crowded and the service is awesome. would stay here again absolutely.

Beautiful Resort”

Stopped by on way back from Koh Chang -- what a pleasant surprise!! Extentsive, well-maintained grounds, extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Buffet breakfast with large, delicious selections of Thai, Chinese and American foods. Also, so much info about what to do in Chanthaburi that we're tempted to go back to a place we thought was drive-through.

stayed at the maneechan resort in february it was a vey nice hotel, has a very big pool, but should have more sun loungers, for the size of the hotel, staff are polite and frindly, even though they did not speak much english. the hotel is situated far from beach so not very good, but the hotel lay on a bus service to the town centre free of charge we had to check out early and get back to bangkok we had to spend about 20 minutes trying to ask how much a taxi was back to bangkok and they only use mobile phones when they finally told us how much they said all the taxis were booked for that day, but we decided to take the hotel taxi free of charge to the bus station, as we knew the bus ran from there to bangkok every hour. the hotel was clean, but the room we stayed in smelt a bit funny have stayed in better hotels for the price they chanrge but all in all it was not to bad would not reccomend it if you need to be near a beach, and if you dont mind spending half an hour trying to communicate with the staff then its a fab place

Good value in Chanthaburi”

Good hotel where we use to stay for visit family in Chanthaburi. The location is little bit outside the city but the place is quiet and good for relax. The food is tasty. The breakfast have a large choice of food and delicious.

A Nice Getaway But Eat Somewhere Else”

The Maneechan is a beautiful resort and a great place to spend a few days away from Bangkok. Unfortunately both the dinner and breakfast I ate in the in-house restaurant were a disappointment. For dinner I ordered a T-bone steak, and what I got was not a T-bone, it was tough, tasted bad and was covered with some disgusting gravy that was not shown in the picture in the menu. The staff was efficient and polite with the exception of the front desk clerk when I checked in who gave the appearance of being indifferent and not really knowing what to do with the Agoda voucher. I would stay here again, but next time I would probably go out to eat at another restaurant.
