Modern Clean Friendly Reception GoodLocation Cheap”

i had stay at some hotels in singapore at the same level as marrison hotel, and i think marrison hotel is stil giving the best offer to us. i dont complain about room space, since most hotels room in singapore are smalls. the reception and room service are friendly and very responsible to make the room ready. when i come arround 4pm there was no cleaning service staff (cleaning service staff not always on site), the receptionist was just run up to our room, clean it and make it ready for us, and back to lobby with smile. when we check the room, her work was as perfect as cleaning staff work!, we give thumbs up! for her :). facilities are work right: tv, hairdryer, waterboiler, wifi have very good signal, bed is comfort, towels are clean white. location : very good, very near with bugis street (bugis junction + bugis market) you can found alot of food option from burgerking, mc donald, chinese food, steamboat etc. transportation : very easy to catch a taxi, and near to mrt, i'd love to stay at marrison hotel again :) it consider modern, clean, friendly, good location for shopping and sightseeing, and cheap for it class.

Great location, new hotel with great service”

the hotel seems to be built recently, the cab driver didn't quite know where it was. but it was fairly easy to spot as it is located on a main road. the receptionists at the lobby were friendly and helpful. we got the twin room that we previously requested. the rooms are fairly small yet comfortable (however it can be considered as roomier than other accommodation i've seen in singapore). the room even includes a small built-in wardrobe. good food is literally just around the corner. leang seah st is packed with variety of restaurants including a some great asian dessert shop. the hotel is located just a stone throw away from bugis junction, the haven of shopping junkies. bugis mrt station is location just inside the shopping centre. to conclude, both my mother and i had great time staying at marrison hotel due to it's proximity to various food and shops, as well as the new and clean room condition.

Great location, good service and comfortable room”

Our family stayed at Marrison hotel 02 nights and we had pleasant holidays at this hotel. This hotel which is opposite to Bugis MRT is very convenient for us to travel to other places. If you want to eat or buy souvernir, the food street Liang Seah St. (which is very crowded at night) and Bugis Junction Tower (with cheap price) are 5 mins walking. Haji Lane, Arab St. and Suntec Tower are 10 mins walking. The room is quite small, but it has main facilities (super small fridge, safe, hair dryer, kettle, big screen TV, air con). Toilet is clean, bathroom with shower and hot-cold water. The staffs are friendly, check-in easy and quickly. Water (hot/cold) is free at level 2, so remember to fill up your bottle before go out. Iron is also available at level 2 with no charge. We will definitely stay at Marrison hotel next time.

Best Hotel”

I love the Marrison Hotel! I have been travelling to Singapore for 30 years and this relatively new hotel is my preferred accommodation in Singapore. The general manager and his entire staff are warm and friendly. A staff member gave me his umbrella so I wouldn't get wet during the seasonal rains. The rooms are clean, although small, but space is a premium in Singapore and always has been. Cable T.V., Internet wireless, coffee & tea, hair dryer, air con etc. Everything you need! The location is fantastic, Bugis Junctions shopping complex & Metro on the next corner. And Arab street 5-10 min walk. Everything is here including being surrounded by many excellent restaurants. Some rooms have no windows so ask for a room facing the park. Enjoy!!!!

Great location for foodies and nice rooms”

strategically located along Beach Road corner Tan Quee Lan St., the hotel is a perfect jump off point to other must-go to places in Singapore, or if you like, to Kuala Lumpur (the bus ticket stations are at the end of Beach Road). My wife and I had no clue what a great location this was when we booked the hotel. To our fascination, we discovered that the entire block where the hotel -- apparently a new one -- was surrounded mostly by colonial shop houses occupied by dozens of restaurants. There's Indonesian, Korean, even Filipino food. But it was the Singaporean fare that we were after, and despite having only stayed for two nights, we had our fill of Singaporean chicken, duck and meat dishes, plus the classic milk tea. (There were steamboat dishes, but we skipped them, since the shops were always full.) A couple of blocks away is the bustling Bugis District, which offers more food some and some serious dry market shopping (but we skipped the shopping part, as well). Other famous Singapore destinations such as Little India and Orchard Road were easily accessible, but this is also because of the City State's ultra-efficient transport system. In all our stay at the hotel was a memorable one, since there were just minor hitches (such as the staff could have expressed more enthusiasm in entertaining questions), or that having the sign "Marrison Hotel" on the Beach Road side of the building would help much in helping travelers on foot locate the building (the sign is on the Tan Qee Lan side).

New boutique hotel with great service ”

i definitely suggest to stay at marrison hotel. since it's new so everything is so clean. location is quite close to bugis mrt, bugis street and bugis junction that only take you 5 minutes to walk there. around the hotel, you can find many nice hot pot restaurants that you dont need to find any other places. however, in some room you can not access to the internet. but staff are willing to change to room for you. i will definitely stay there when i come back to singapore again.

Nice hotel near Bugis MRT station”

This nice hotel, little but clean... the staff were friendly & helpfull... Although my room was small with limited facilities in toilet (tooth brush & liquod soap availabe), but the toilet was so clean. Sorrounding area were so many restaurant, majority are not Halal... but we can walk around 10 minutes to Bugis junction & Bugis food street to find Halal food. Just 15 minutes walking across the road to reach Suntec city mall.... 10 minutes walking to Haji Lane & Arab street... It’s also about 15 minutes walk to Queen street bus terminal , the way to reach Johor Bahru by bus. .... It’s my second time stay at Marrison Hotel Bugis, I’ll be back again...

Small & packed but at the right location”

It's in fact our first time staying in a budget hotel, in this case the Marrison Hotel. Fortunately, our decision was Okay. The room is just too small, mostly occupied by a queen size bed with significantly less space for luggage or whatsoever. Toilet is just Okay. Basically, nothing much to complain about. The best thing is that Marrison is located just at the heart of Bugis. Street food has a lot to offer & the night life is just fantastic. Bugis Junction & Bugis Night Market is just around the corner of about 5 mins to 8 mins walk. Traveling is not hectic at all. LRT is also around the vicinity. Cost of a cab from Changi Airport to Marrison ranges from $14 to $18 which is pretty much reasonable for a traveling family.

quaint little hotel with excellent service ”

this hotel was exactly what i wanted. great location in bugis, essentially a 2 minute walk to bugis junction shopping centre and bugis mrt station. also surrounded by thousands of good quality but reasonably prices restaurants no more than a 2 minute walk away. every time i entered the hotel i was greeted by the staff with a welcoming hello, good morning, etc. the staff service was commendable. my laptop's settings did not allow access to the hotel's wifi and the staff spent a good amount of their time trying to figure out the problem and help me as much as possible. they were very friendly and welcoming. really added to the wonderful experience of singapore. also, the hotel breakfast was excellent. although the rooms are quite small, it was exactly what i needed. i did not spend that much time in the hotel itself, really only used the rooms to sleep and shower. considering the price, this hotel is amazing. i would not hesitate to stay here again when i come to singapore!

great location but really small rooms”

It is first time we go to Singapore, all the hotel are expensive when we check on line. But finally we got Marrison Hotel in agoda. That is a good choice to stay for budget traveller...great location, clean, cheaper and very friendly staff.... We just walking for around 5-10 min to go to Suntex City for joining the sightseeing tour, and go to Bugis Village and Bugis mrt station in just 10 minutes walking distance. It is a very convenience hotel. But the breakfast which provide by hotel is no good.

Nice hotel with good service”

we had a marvelous stay in bugis at the marrison hotel. wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel. very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. my only qualm was that the rooms were a little small.the streets are full with cafe and nice shops. we had a great time at the famous bugis street

In the Center of Everything”

Convenience is what it ultimately offers. It is pretty much in the middle of everything. MRT (Bugis Station) is just a couple of minutes-walk (in SG, every spot and area is interconnected by the metro). There are tons of restaurants nearby that offer a variety of dishes it'll take a while before you could decide on one. And having Subway as their complimentary breakfast just reinforces my good impression of this hotel. You might not have the resto in the hotel, but it isn't far from it, as Subway is only within walking distance. The room may be a little bit small but I had no problem with it. I can put my bags. I can move around. So it wasn't really an issue. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I have one concern though. I'm not sure if their email add is working as I try to email them of an important concern of mine days before my arrival and I received no response. Hope they work on this. Overall, our stay has been great. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to visit SG.

Good Value For Singapore”

It took us a little time to realize the worth of Marrison Hotel because our initial reaction was negative. It was only after we had stayed there and compared it with the hotel of our friends that we appreciated its value. Coming from Bangkok, our expectation for the hotel price we paid was quite different. We were in Singapore just to take a cruise so we did not need an expensive hotel. When we first entered the tiny, windowless room, we were a bit shocked, but it was clean and we needed only a place to sleep, so we stayed. We slept well and comfortably, and the next day, when we compared hotels and their prices with our friends who went on the cruise with us, we found out that our location was ideal and the price we paid was very, very reasonable for Singapore! However, we would recommend a room with a window for a little additional payment. The staff were very helpful with our luggage, with our arrangements for wifi and with recommending places for shopping and eating.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay”

My stay at Marrison hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. Although I stayed in a std room, it was very clean, neat and tidy. The room rates was very reasonable and the service staff were great with me. I would strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends and collegues should they visit Singapore for their holiday or business trip. marrison hotel has a great location particularly if you're just on a vacation to singapore. hotel service is at par with the other 3 or 4 star hotels and is conveniently located near the bugis mrt station. moreover, the hotel provides free wifi service, hot and cold water, cable tv and provides good breakfast at the nearby restaurant. if you're on a budget, don't fail to check this marrison hotel as it provides good quality service with a lower price. i will definitely stay here again when we go back to singapore.

For lone traveller and visitors to Singapore who are looking for a place to stay, Marrison Hotel provide a valuable place to stay. Location is fantastic and near Bugis. For bagpacker who dont mind to pay a little more for comfort and sightseeing, this hotel is probably the best choice to consider.

Good budget hotel for the tight on cash traveller”

arrived at 7am after a midnight flight from perth, and all we wanted to do was have a shower and go to sleep. unfortunately check in time was 2pm (which i thought was a bit late.) the hotel is very nice, very modern. we stayed in the standard room for the first night, which was nice however the room was not huge. this didn't worry us however, and there was room still for our two suitcases and extra bags. the hotel is very close to the bugis mrt, which basically means you can get to anywhere in singapore from there. we also walked from the hotel to clarke quay each night we were there without a hassle, which was a great help. i do recommend this hotel for couples or singles who are after a moderately cheap hotel, close to many different facilities, who plan on spending most of the day sight seeing in singapore (even though it is easy enough to spend a whole day watching the movie channel in the hotel room with the aircon on!)

Great location but small rooms”

It was my first time to book a hotel accommodation via Agoda and I would say that i made the right choice for picking Marrison Hotel. The location was very convenient and accessible to all amenities. We didn't have difficulty of looking for a place to eat and shop. Also, it is near some of the famous SG tourist spots. Since we initially planned to go to Malaysia as well, we were lucky that the hotel is close to the bus terminal going to Johor which made our travel hassle-free. Although the room we occupied was relatively small, it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Definitely, we will not hesitate of staying in this hotel again in our future travels to SG.

Simple hotel with great location”

for the price range of this hotel, marrison hotel is quite good. eventhough the room doesnt have a window, but the room comes with good aircon system, and good and functional bathroom. i was also happy to see that there are many good restaurants nearby the hotel. and it is also very near to bugis junction shopping mall. it is recommended to stay there.
