Water Cut from Air Selangor”

We found this MAXHotel Subang Jaya when there was a water cut from Air Selangor for more than 3 days and the reserve water tank in the house was running low. It took us less than 20 minutes to complete the sourcing and booking to salvage the critical situation. Thank you Agoda and MAXHotel.

a nice small hotel with great location”

I stayed for a day in the hotel, I occasionally choose the hotel to reminisce my stay at Subang as a college student (well, a little bit of nostalgic moments). I do feel that the location of the hotel is very strategic, you can walk around the area and easily find something to eat. And it is also very near to a bus stop, so it is very easy for you to find public transport. The offer rate is also pretty good deal. One thing that should be improved is the lack of sound proofing of the room. I was staying in the first floor which is down the hallway from the receptionist, I can hear clearly all the noises in the hallway. Maybe if you're staying in the upper level there shouldn't be a problem then. I hope this wouldn't be an issue for my next stay. =)

Really i enjoyed stay at max hotel nice staff gud attitude indian guy manager..clean and comfort..before this i read some customer give dispointed review but for me its overall ok.will came again next time..

Standard room is Not recommended ”

Is RM80/night in Subang Jaya expensive ? No But the corridor outside the standard room is extremely noisy during midnight. Staff was talking loudly and etc

Stay with last minute plan”

Took a 1 night stay here with our last minute plan. This hotel located right in the middle of SS15, where the streets are full with cafes, restaurants & bubble tea shops. We’re given a room locating 3rd floor. Without knowing there’s no escalator, we’ve been climbing up & down to put our bags & going down for some late night snacks. Air condition was cold enough, however the walls are not sound proof. We’ve been hearing strangers walking up & down, knocking & watching tv from their room. Considering we’re checking out the next day, we don’t really bother. Overall, it’s expensive for a single night stay without escalator.

Great location and value”

Have stayed many times and compared to other hotels in the area is more modern with the only negative being the lack of lift access to higher levels which other similarly priced hotels in the area have. I would recommend paying the extra amount to get the deluxe room if you're not used to sleeping in a room without natural sunlight. Great location and many eateries open until late or 24 hours. And only down the road you have the Pyramid shopping complex. Excellent if you're basing yourself in the area for your stay.

Good Value for $ and very near to Cheap Food Stores”

Great concierge. Must bring your toothbrush, shampoo. Only bath towel, bathing liquid, TV and Aircon provided. 2 mins walk to Starbuck Coffee, McDonalds, 10 mins to KFC. 3 mins to clusters of food stores, convenience shops. RM 65 from KLIA 2 Airport to Max and RM 40 to KLCC. RM 25 to Puchong Jaya for great BBQ sea food and pubs RM 20 to Sunway Pyramids. Very SAFE.

Disappointing Stay”

- Price is affordable and location is premium but not recommended for couples or travelers looking for a comfortable stay. - The hotel looks clean and modern on the exterior but the room is quite run-down and dirty, i.e. stains on bed sheet and on the bedroom wall. - Although I booked a non-smoking room, the previous occupant obviously smoked in the room. - Got a room nearest to the reception, and it was quite noisy at night. - Television was hanging very high up and you have to strain your neck throughout the night to watch a show. - If you are driving, there are two parking spots reserved for hotel guests. Other than that, you need to be super lucky to get a parking around that area.

Great with small little hassle”

Beside small mistake from the staff for giving me the wrong key to enter the wrong room, everything was fairly good. Near to food court and it is a busy area, quite hard to get parking. Overall worth for the price.

I stayed 3nights during my business trip. This hotel was very clean and convenient to move other place. Staff also quite nice :)

With the price i paid didn't aspect they would provide free water bottles. Wall lamp isn't working. Others is good and clean. I love the water pressure so good.

I stayed 3N. The hotel is clean. The bed is comfortable. But room very small, expected. Need to validate the key card everyday, need to improve on this as they know I'm staying for 3N. The worse is cigarette smoke smell is very strong. I have the same problem the last time I stayed there.

The location was good. When we first checked in, the room has a strong smell of cigarettes smoke and the electrical was not working. We have to return to the lobby from the second floor by staircase and request to change for a room. Sadly, all rooms were occupied and we can only have that room. The receptionist tried to help us to fix the electrical for the room, it took him quite a while to fix it. Then we realized that the housekeeping department was not doing their job as the room was not equipped with towels and toilet papers. We had to return to the lobby again to ask for the said items. There is also stains on the bedsheet. Overall it was nice but there is room for improvement in the hotel cleanliness. Also, there is only mirror in the toilet, it was inconvenient. The sound proof between room was also bad.

Room is clean and neat, no weird odor. Quite good location, near LRT, surrounded by shops, and near to shopping mall as well. Just the receptionist staff too awful, i requested my hairdryer at the counter, asked whether i have to take it myself, he answered he will take upstairs to our room and went to take hairdryer, i waited around an hour in room and he still havnt appear. I went down to request it again (because the phone inside is not functioning), he f-ing siting there watching his stuff and totally forgot about my request WUT.

lobby is too small..there's no sofa for guest.bench looks like in park. i just hate climbing upstairs..no lift room looks bigger as in photo.but really faked..room damn small.
