One of the Best Hotels in NST”

I have spent 2 nights in MD Grand Hotel. My room was very clean and looked after, the bed is a bit on the harder side but it is really comfortable (and believe me, it's much better for your spine than the soft ones!)so you can have a good night's rest and wake up more relaxed! I even had a comfortable sofa in the room! I had really good, strong WiFi signal, which is a major advantage!! (In Thailand every Hotel states that they have strong, free WiFi but in the rooms they don't - I was really surprised and happy that I could keep in touch with my loved ones during my stay! Thank you!) New clean towels and complementary bottled water was offered daily without any question. No insects, the room was equipped with effective, up to date high quality air conditioner (Daikin if I remember well...), even the bathroom had a TV set. The location is quiet, one can take a good, undisturbed sleep. The Hotel is situated in the heart of the City, everything is within 3-10 minutes walking distance, even the Train Station is only some 15 minutes walk. 24 hour Reception service is a good advantage, one can not enter the staircase without the valid room card - so this Hotel is a very secure one, it's a brave idea!! The Staff is very friendly and helpful, Ms. Sunisa the Manager speaks really good English, and all of her Staff can understand and communicate the basics, too! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful,they even called metered taxi at once, for request! It is worth to pay extra money for the Hotel's Breakfast, you can find a good selection of foods, twoo kinds of warm Thai meal is being served which I liked the most. Coffee is o.k. due to European standards, do not expect Italian style Espresso, but you can enjoy a few variations of coffee. I would highly reccommend this Hotel to anyone arriving to this nice City for a short or longer visit. In case I would return, I would definately stay again at MD Grand again! A very pleasant stay”

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, so taking public transportation is not a problem plus Nakhon Sithammarat has a 24-hour taxi service. There a lot of restaurants near the hotel and also a laundromat, if you don't want to use the hotel's laundry service. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We asked for more towels as we had two children with us and they were very happy to provide them. The manager was very informative and helpful. We will stay here again next time we come to Nakhon Sithammarat.

LOOK AROUND NAKHON FOR BETTER VALUE”

It is not very welcoming to be asked for a key deposit immediately on arrival, particularly as the charge for the "key" (a plastic card) was about five times its value. Breakfast was nothing special - no real care taken over preparation or presentation. The mirrors in the room were too low to be of use to anyone over 155 cms tall ! Because of its situation, this could be a really nice hotel - but at the moment little effort is being made to bring it up to its full potential, and better value can be found elsewhere in the city of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Great renovated local hotel for a business trip”

MD Grand is a new hotel with all the necessity needed for a business traveler. The room is new clean and comfortable. Breakfast is nice. Staff service is excellent. The low price makes it a great value stay.

Great new hotel in Nakorn Sri”

My stay at MD Grand was good. I was well welcomed with friendly service. Location was convenient. Room was large, new, comfortable (though a bit dark at the table). Price was friendly but too many different rates.

Entertaining.”

There are plenty of TVs in the room. If you are really looking for entertainment and live on news 24/7 here is the right place to stay. There are TVs in every part of the room except the ceiling, even in the shower there is a TV. The hotel is new and it's cheap. Room quality is nice and the bed is comfy. What else to be asked for at this price. I think it's the real deal.

Best in town”

We stayed just one night here but could easily have stayed longer. The hotel is clean and modern inside and out. The staff were very professional and really looked after us. There is a large shopping mall within 5 minutes’ walk and also outdoor food stalls, restaurants and other stores. There is some kind of factory right across the street, but it wasn't noisy or smelly. Just a tad unsightly. I had a look around at some of the other hotels and I would still prefer this one. All in all pretty amazing value and would stay here again.

Great accommodation ”

We even extended the stay at the hotel. Rooms are very good and comfortable. Hotel not well known by minivan drivers. Location Ok as night market around the corner for good food. Staff does not speak english at all which makes communication challenging. Far away from minivan and bus stations. Breakfast Ok but very thai orientated.

Fair price in city center”

Hotel is fine in city center with 1 dish of breakfast per customer. Weak poin is no elevator. Good to watch another TV in toilet

The best in nakhon si thammarat ”

it's very clean and high security ,TV in the bathroom. I can view the lobby, reception and car parking areas via any TV the atmosphere was so nice, the staff were so friendly, at night time was very quiet. the breakfast was also good. compare with the price it's worth your money I recommend here

New comfortable room Good value Good location”

The hotel is quite new with large comfortable room. Location is quite good with a mall and famous local food shop within walking distance. Breakfast was good. Service was great.

Nice friendly short stay hotel”

Very good location with access to food and shopping. The hotel can improve further with more facilities such as tea making facilities, hair dryer and more lightings in the bathroom. I was traveling with young children and there were no hot water available in the room. Luckily the front counter staff was kind and friendly enough to allow us to get some hot water from the kitchen on grd floor. Overall, value for money on a short stay.

Modern new hotel”

The staff was very friendly. It was in the heart of the city, walking distance to Robinson Ocean and there were lots of restaurants nearby.

No Elevator”

Sorry great hotel good breakfast great location but if elderly no lift . management kindly sent staff to take up luggage . Agoda needs to change showing no lift .

Ciean, Comfortable, Convenient ”

This hotel room is very clean and comfortable . A/C is cold, bathroom have strong water and bed is comfortable. Really enjoy staying in this hotel !

Small but nice”

The location is good. The room was clean. Alll materials used were good. The overall room codition was nice, although it was small. The only Thing i want to complain is they don't have elevator. Don't stay on too high floor if you have heavy stuffs with you.

The hotel has its own car park with security. Room is clean and big. About 5 mins walking to shopping mall. So good!

Best Location”

The hotel is located in good area. not too far from the important place. The breakfast was better than some 5 star hotel. The room was large. There's no elevator. Not so good for old people.

Convenience”

The hotel is a good value-for-money, located in the city center, not-too-old, and have private car park.
