I love the friendliness of the staff, keyless entry is very convenient, its nice that you can do your laundry for free, there are also amenities available in the room, the shuttle bus is good as well. Hotel is near a train station, bus stop and convenience stores which for me is a huge plus. Although I wish there was a microwave available maybe? The office of the hotel was a bit difficult to find so wished there was more instructions on how to find it. Staff knowledge on tourist spots and cool shops (like 100 yen shops) would be nice as well. But overall, we are very happy to have stayed at grand japaning! :)

I love the fact that they will ask you to pre-register before your check in date, and that checking in was very fast and fuss free. Then this hotel is under one of the biggest hotel chains in Tokyo, and they offer luggage delivery (and storage) service to all their guests. The information center is a stone’s throw away from Kyoto Station Central exit. We availed the 2way luggage delivery which costs ¥500 per luggage per way, they gave us 1 free btw, and then we even left our luggages overnight free of charge. The people manning the info center were all very helpful, and the staff at the hotel itself were also very nice. Will definitely recommend this hotel as the facilities are good and new! Thank you!!!

Comfy oasis in the middle of the city”
A well equip small hotel behind the shijo omiya station, very convenient. They provide free of charge baggage delivery from the main train station to the hotel, when you check in they will send you the code to enter the lobby, there you scan your passport on the machine and the machine gives your room passcode. Theres free to use washing machine and driyer on the first floor.

First time stay at the hotel with self check in and no staff at the reception. It is very amazing and nice experience for me and my friend. Room is small but comforable and clean. Location is convenience as near train station and shop lot.

Over all was great, Room was clean, staff were nice, helpful and kind free laundry (but kinda dirty dryer) is a plus too. but hotel check-in procedure was a mess, I don't mind human-less hotel at all, even love it. But check-in and pass hotel door with "hotel generated passwords" is not a convenient way at all. It should have been keycard or something that doesn't require me to write down or remember some random passwords, Like sending qr-code to my phone or a piece of paper.

Value for money stay. Staff very helpful for all enquirers. Near bus stop direct to Narita Kansai airport. About SGD 26 per adult for the limousine bus ride to airport. A few local onsen nearby. Many small restaurants, 7 11 n family mart nearby.

Keyless entry. Have some eateries and a local shopping street nearby. However, WIFI in the room was very bad. Have to go to lobby to use the WIFI. Didn't use any of the facilities, not sure what facilities are available in the hotel.

Good location and spacious room ”
The hotel is few meter away from the hankyu station which is very convenient . Room is much more spacious compared to the other hotel i stayed in Japan. A lot of convenience store around the hotel. Will definitely choose this on my next visit to Kyoto!

Hair on sheets and towels (disgusting!), dust in some places... I expected the place to be clean, at least. I don't need fancy facilities, but seriously, cleanliness is basic.

This hotel is more of a self-service hotel. You get a code to your e-mail for the entrance and code to check in with on an ipad in the reception. If that works, which it did for us, it’s no problem - but we heard so many guests who did not get a code and staff was hard to get hold on. There is no cleaning of the rooms if you don’t stay three or more nights. You have to put your trash in the corridor yourself and ask for new towels if you need to. I would have preffered a quick clean up of the room, otherwise, what do you actually pay for? The hotel is okay when everything works as it supposed to, but I would say that keep looking for another hotel.
