Honeymoon in bliss”
Our honeymoon was splendid. From the first day we reach Maldives Airport we were taken care by Mercure staff at the lounge and check-in for our Maldivian Air flight. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. We stayed in overwater sunset villa and the room is really beautiful. The room with King Bed is very cozy with some glass floor overlooking the ocean underneath. The bathroom with double sinks, shower, and toilet is spacious. My favourite part was the terrace/balcony area with stairs connected with the ocean and also the rain shower deck at the terrace together with the bath tub. the sunset from our bed was beautiful. We are lucky to spot sharks and turtle swimming from our balcony villa before sunrise and there's a lot of baby sharks and sting rays under the jetty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Hoodh, Nuha, Royen, Juber, Florencia and Carolina, Raki, Chitambaram, Yanmar, indo masseuse, and other Mercure staffs who made our stay memorable.

Best experience”
Overall is good, staff named Maya is very helpful. Room is clean and awesome, location is very good and the seawater is crystal clear, the staff is friendly and helpful, they greet you every single time when they see you. Facilities are so great, diving place, watersports, great restaurant with 5 stars food served. The only setback is the swimming fins they provide is a little old, but since it is free of charge, i got no problem with it at all.

The best vacation spot ever!”
This is our first time in the Maldives and our first stay in a Mercure Hotel in general. The staff are really helpful and friendly, they took care of everything we would request, the overwater villas (where we stayed) have the most amazing bathrooms ever and are very clean! The house reef is full of life and you can enjoy sighting sharks, turtles are not shy and in really shallow waters and baby mantas are to be spotted a couple of times ;) You can do a lot, so it is definitely worth it, the only downfall I would think of is that there is an airport nearby and not that we have been disturbed or anything, but there are some beachvillas, which are literally 20 metres from the runway, so I can imagine this being quite noisy and we did sense some fuel smell on one occasion. Otherwise, just great! Food is good and we visited the gym every day, which was equipped with everything we needed and very clean. Will definitely come back!

Had a wonderful stay in your resort for my 5 days 4 nights vacation is Maldives. I chose overwater villa with pool. The room and toilet is clean. I love the sunset view. Thank you for the sweet anniversary deco which neither my husband and I arranged it. It was really a nice gesture. I would love to come again. Your staff had taken care for us through out the whole stay from picking us up till sending us off. Prompt reply via email from the start. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Mercure Maldives in December for about 3 nights, 4 days. It was the perfect duration at this resort. We did Water Villa for 2 nights and Beach Villa 1 night. Each have their perks, and we're actually glad we had a chance to try both. The Beach Villa has a larger private patio shower, larger outdoor tub, great for bathing etc. More of a jungle feel. The Water Villa has an amazing view, and is of course directly on the water so snorkling was right in your yard. Resort just opened in Sep 2017 so it was basically new, we felt like the rooms actually looked better in person than on Agoda. Great location from the airport, very convenient to get to. Staff are amazing. Only cons are there aren't many activity/food options. By the 3rd day, we basically did everything the resort had to offer kayaking, paddleboard, tennis, fishing, snorkling, couples massage etc. Food was decent, but only 2 restaurants to pick. It was a quiet and perfect getaway. Highly recommend!

Chosen this resort because of the price offered at Agoda, good value for the over water sunset view with private pool, 10/10 given from me and my wife who spent our honeymoon at this resort, from the first email sent to the resort about our stay, instant email back welcoming us, reassuring us we will be looked after. If only we could stay longer! Our overwater villa was amazing, we enjoyed watching the corals and fishes through the ‘window’ on our floor and we loved the outdoor shower! Everyone at Mercure Maldives was lovely and friendly, especially Sharaf, Hassan and Nisha at the Alita Restaurant. We were talking to Sharaf about Maldivian local dishes on the first day we arrived and he promptly had the chef to prepare a list of Maldivian dishes outside the menu which we can order during our stay! Speaking of food, we especially loved the breakfast, the variety was simply amazing. We tried both the buffet and ala carte for lunch and dinner, and I am sad to say that some food on the ala carte menu were not great - On two separate occasions, we ordered the fish and chicken for our main, and both were overcooked. The buffet however fared better, it was scrumptious! Anyway, we had a great time, enjoyed the facilities, there were definitely more pros than cons, and we would return!

Amazing place, amazing rooms and amazing staff”
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The staff were incredible, nothing was beyond their capabilities and hospitality. The hotel as a whole was incredibly dreamy: perfect white sandy beaches and crystal clear seas; outdoor bathtubs looking out to sea; dives that offer everything in the ocean, from spinner sharks to giant nurse sharks, from turtles to stingrays; cocktails created just for your tastes. The Maldives as a whole isn’t a cheap destination, but this place is definitely worth the money and it is much more affordable than a lot of other resorts - and is every bit as luxurious, if not more so!

Good value of money ”
Pros: Good value of money, you can’t find any other water villa in Maldives at this price. Clear sea, we were able to spot baby sharks and other fishes just outside our villa. Snorkeling kits were provided at no cost, we had so much fun surfing outside our villa! Truly an one of a kind experience. Cons Food was below average and pricey, we didn’t enjoy any meals there. Resort is located next to airport, it’s a No Fly Zone for drones. Not instagram friendly. This is our first time in Maldives so we couldn’t do much comparisons with other local resorts. Overall, staffs are not extra friendly but it was acceptable. Do take note that it’s compulsory to book a domestic flight with them, which costs about 700 USD for two pax. It’s not included in Agoda rates.

Amazing value”
Mercure was truly wonderful to stay at. They arranged everything for us, including airport transfer, and coordinated our pickup with our hotel in Male. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there were free stand up paddle board, surfboard, and kayak rentals, which were great. The lagoon that the resort is situated on has the most crystal clear water I've ever seen, and there are tons of colorful fish to be found all over the reef (the resort offers a snorkeling trip along the house reef upon request too)- some of the best snorkeling I've done. I would come back to stay at the Mercure in a heartbeat :)

Everything is very good but its quite expensive about the flight to that island”
I loved the hotel. Everthing is good, the pool, the room, the food, and its very near from kooddoo aiport and the staff is very nice they arrange everything for us from Male until we arrived at the resort. But, The island is quite far from Male so we need go by domestic plane. And the domestic plan is quite expensive i think.

Best value water Villa in the entire Maldives ”
This is a big global brand Accor. They offer great facilities and foods. You can't find any over water Villa cheaper than the deal here. There aren't much of the coral here for snorking but you can see different type of fishes like babe shark and seldom a stingjay. There is no turtle here though unless you pay for the snorking tour. The food here is delicious and good value at the Alita restaurant. You can choose the A la cart which I personally find more delicous than the buffet. Cons: This resort is right next to the airport so this is quite a deal breaker for many people who is looking for a truly Drift away paradise. I guess that's why it is a four star resort instead of 5 stars. The cost for activities is quite expensive too like diving and a tour to a small distance island for Instagram work. But the diving team here is very professional so I guess that match the peace of heart. But you can get like 250$ for a 6 times advance dive near Male from the local.
