Best hotel we've evert stayed at!”
The property is set on what feels like the most beautiful 22 hectares in the world right in the middle of the most lush and gorgeous green jungle backdrop with volcanoes all around. It has the best spa in Indonesia which is very good value for money; the food at the restaurant was the best we have had in Indonesia; the staff were extremely attentive and helpful (especially in organising trips to Borobudur and trekking in the area); and the rooms/villas were gorgeous with luxurious authentic javanese decor. There can be no complaints about the hotel as it is perfect!

Beautiful Resort, warm and helpful staff”
We enjoyed our stay in MesaStila Resort thoroughly. It is a beautiful property and we got an upgrade to a beautiful Joglo villa. Enjoyed the food, the spa, the coffee plantation walk and the hotel staff also helped to arrange for our visit to Borobudur temple. Everything was perfect. I will highly recommend staying here for a very relaxed weekend or even longer.

The Ultimate Nature Sanctuary ”
We loved our Arum villa - the charming entrance with water feature at the entrance, to large beds and balcony spaces overlooking to 20 acres of coffee plantation, to spacious bathrooms. The staff treated us so well and the food was fantastic with a view overlooking 2 volcanos. Truly a magical stay, we can't wait to come back!

Absolutely fantastic setting. Staff, spa, restaurant and facilities are top class. We have already planned a return stay with a larger group as you can be as private or as social as ypu wish on these 22,000 hectars of beautifully maintained plantation. This was my 2nd time staying in this amazing resort. I was at the Mesa Stila 100 Ultra Race and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. I was greeted by name everywhere I went. It was like being at home in my neighborhood. In addition, I was surprised at breakfast with a beautiful birthday cake that was arranged by the management team. Truly a special touch and a welcomed gift to the trip. Whenever I have the chance to get away to this area I will always plan to stay here. It is a magical place that you need to experience.

Lush jungle paradise escape”
We stayed 3 nights during the rainy season. Our Villa was beautiful in its own traditional way but above all very comfortable. The entire MesaStila grounds was incredibly beautiful and lush. The jungle greenery mixed with the historic architecture and the outstanding service from the staff made the stay unique, relaxing, invigorating and unforgettable. The service from every single member of staff was outstanding. The staff at the reception, restaurant, spa, yoga classes, housekeeping and drivers were all so wonderful and professional during our whole stay. It is important to note that the resort is relatively difficult to travel to, and the traffic along the way can be very challenging at times. Having said that, I would still recommend MesaStila to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle, and to become more one with nature and the Indonesian landscape.

Wonderful and exotic place ”
We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Staff took very good care of us and the whole hotel was very well maintained . Based on the individual style houses, the setting in a coffee plantation and the vast garden make a retreat with a lot of character. Nothing like the concrete mass tourism resorts The Spa is beautiful and the treatments were amazing. I highly recommend it.

Authentic coffee plantation turned resort ”
Beautiful resort with stunning views set between 7 volcanos. The buildings and their interiors are all authentic Indonesian with typical tropical wear > some rescued from other sites, incl. an old train station and a former palace of a local prince. Don't expect 5 star luxury but clean spacious houses set generously apart within a working coffee plantation. Lots of tropical plants, vegetable garden, horse stable ... a jungle gym. Breakfast and Dinner are excellent and the Pool/Spa/Hamam a great place to relax. Staff are great and very helpful.
