Only five-minute walk from KL Sentral. We arrived in KL at 1am, ride the Skybus from KLIA2 to KL sentral. It wasn't hard to look for the hotel. Just ask directions to Brickfield and you can easily find Metro. It is also safe to walk from KL Sentral to Brickfield even at 4am! The receptionist when we arrived, Isaac, was very accommodating and friendly. Since check-in was at 2Pm, he suggested that we book another room first for us to rest for a while before going around the city, and he gave us big discount! When we got to our room at 2pm, it was really comfortable , clean and spacious. The comfort room is clean and spacious too! It was really a pleasant stay and really affordable! worth every penny. Around the hotel you can find different restaurants, open for 24 hours.

Accesible location”

Metro hotel is very good hotel to stay in Kuala Lumpur. It located very near KL Sentral where you can have access to go around by train, taxi or bus. Many food stall and restaurant varieties to choose. Near the shopping mall to just walking around with many famous store. We might come back again to stay there when visit KL.

Great place to stay, near metro and food places”

Apart from the smoking smell on the floors (specifically 4th floor), everything was great. They serve breakfast on the rooftop, it wasn't a buffet but still delicious, you can choose among 5 dishes in the breakfast. We mostly ate the American and Continental. Room cleanliness was top notch. Rooms were a bit small but still a heaven for backpackers and 2 occupants in each room. If you're a Muslim, you'll find it a bit hard to pray in the room due to its size. They daily cleaned our rooms in our absence and placed free water bottles, coffee, tea and milk. Internet was fast. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the KL Sentral. With cheap food all around the hotel until almost 2-3am in the morning you'll never get hungry. I'll recommend Metro hotel to others and will definitely stay there if I ever come back to Malaysia again.

It was very good”

The best thing of this hotel was value of money and location. it was next to KL sentral station and big malls. Everything was in reach beacuse of location. Staff was extremely nice and responsive. Room was small but it was good for us. Only thing bad was washroom's leaking pipes. We were very satisfied after 5 more experiences during our trip. Highly recommend it to travelers and who wish to explore Kuala Lumpur

This is a new hotel, the room is very clean a about just the right size for me as i travel alone, the bed is rally nice & comfortable, during my stay is quite peaceful & quiet, location wise very near to KL Sentral station & Sentral BTS, plenty eatery nearby and the food is nice too... the staff is honest and friendly.... i left my handphone in the room during checkout, when I get to realising it is already an hour later, called the hotel staff and to my surprise they managed to recovered my phone for me, and I asked my friend in KL to collect in my behalf... overall it is my top choice hotel hotel and i will recommended to all my friends whom will be going to KL, thank you!

Nice hotel with basic facilities. I booked one family room for 4 people. It’s a spacious room for us and so clean. I would recommend this hotel cause it is located near to KL Sentral station which provide many kind of public transportation to travel around Kuala Kumpur, Genting, etc. Top of that near to this hotel, there are many delicious restaurant like Indian, Peranakan, and Thai. Definitely will stay here again when I come back to Malaysia.

New, clean ,budget hotel near Monorail ”

we just stayed here for 1 night coz we have to go back to singapore for our flight back to Phils. we had hard time finding the hotel coz when we asked the locals there, they dont know where it is located. but we soon found out that it was located at the street just behind the monorail station. the hotel was for budget travellers/backpackers, nothing fancy. but it was clean as it is still new. the staff were nice. they also offer city tour, etc. we booked a room with king size bed. the room size is okay, the toilet and bath is spacious and they have bidet,not common to budget hotels. bed,mattress & pillows are comfy. the only downside was that the thin walls. you can hear people talking at the corridor. so if you're a light sleeper, it would be inconvenient. but i guess all budget hotels are like that. overall, we enjoyed our stay, it is accessible to monorail (to avoid traffic) and kl sentral terminal for kommuter train and bus to&from the airport.just a short walking distance to the station. will definitely stay here again if i go back to malaysia.

nothing to complain..!! its all nice and clean and real value for money at the heart of Kuala Lumpur..!! easy access to transportation hub KL sentral and lots of other attractions..quite new and rooms are well maintained and so do the bathrooms.. i love it.. definitely gonna stay there in my next visit..!

Not-so-friendly staff, Leaky toilet”

Originally booked a triple room but due to rooms being sold out, we got upgraded to a quad room. Which was supposed to be a great thing except we found out the toilet was leaky, there's not much to offer (there's kettle but no coffee or tea, we had to request for the "do not disturb" tag when it should be in the room already), save for the roomy space. When one of our bath towels got mistakenly folded and placed together with supposedly "new, clean" hotel towels in the bathroom as though it was the hotel's towel by the cleaner, we were surprised and highlighted the issue as the quad room should have 4 hotel towels, not 3 hotel towels + 1 white towel of ours. It may sound like a small matter but we didn't want the fuss of being accused of stealing hotel property if it ever comes to that, so just a precaution if you will. Staff did explain saying not to worry each hotel towel is marked, however, we got a dissatisfied look by one of the staff when we insisted they take note of the issue. We didn't ask for the upgrade, and we just wanted to prevent any misunderstandings, that's all. Overall, not exactly a great experience. Otherwise, location, price, food convenience are okay since it's just a 5-min walk to NU Sentral, perfect for those who need to get to KL Sentral quick.

Great tme Staying at Metro Hotel KL Sentral”

I arrived at KL Sentral in the afternoon. I must walk 10 mnts to find Thimbiphily st, Bricksfields till i found the Hotel. It;s a boutique Hotel with good service, clean room and kindness staff. I find many food court around the hotel.many minimarkets here not far from the hotel.In the morning i can find ppl sell traditional fod of malaysia like Nasi lemak,fried rice, Yellow rice with another food. I can find Teh Tarik too. You can walk 10 mnt to reach Monorail station (KL Sentral monorail).I will stay here if i have any opportunity back to Malaysia.

Great bargain, but expect NO frills”

Great place to stay if you need something centrally located, close to great restaurants and very cheap. There are absolutely no frills here, but the rooms are clean, quiet, and have all basic necessities covered. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's a newer location, so if you're going by taxi tell them you need Metro Hotel KL Sentral at Brickfields. It's on the same street with Old Town White Coffee shop on the corner. If you stay there, head around the corner and visit Jassal for some spectacular, authentic Tandoori cuisine.

Cheap, clean and simple - ideal for one night transit”

This is not a holiday destination hotel, it is purely a budget one-nighter transit style property very close to KL Sentral. It is super basic, but my room was clean, spacious enough to handle my set of luggage, with a wet bathroom, tv and a reasonably comfortable double bed that smelt and felt clean. Location a bit noisy (I was on level 1) but for twenty five Australian dollars a night I cannot complain. A five minute walk to KL Sentral transport hub which made getting to the airport for an early flight very easy. Checkin was laboriously slow, but staff all very pleasant. Rooftop cafe a great little find, with interesting views, but could do with a bit of a freshen up (e.g. water blast the concrete, splash a bit of brighter paint around, get a few soft outdoor cushions, add a few more trees and plants). In room hotel guest information could be improved - details on opening hours of rooftop cafe, local area map, tips on KL Sentral transport options, etc).

very good budget hotel near kl sentral !”

It is a budget hotel, very near KL Sentral, all around it is indian area may be is not the beat view but is OK . other way my room was small with TV, air con and safe in a room , bathroom is very nice as well. Biggest problem for me was that there are no windows with out view in a room so y feel like in a box :) and was kind of noise ! But it is good enoght for that money ! From kl sentral it is about 5 min walk from the hotel you can catch all kind of transportation, it is cheap fast and nice to use the public tansportaion !

OMG I got such a reasonable price with all the good location, walking distance to NU Sentral shopping mall and KL Sentral, which we can take MRT to go KLCC, China Town, Bukit Bintang... Staffs are very nice and the room is clean! But the thing is I booked a twin room with window but unfortunately, it doesn't have a refrigerator, which was the reason why I choose this hotel. Hopefully they will have refrigerator in all room

3 Star Comfort at Budget Rating”

I stayed in for 4 nights at Metro Hotel. The hotel is nice, clean and comfortable.The stay was unpleasantly disturbed at about 3-4AM when some inconsiderate guests SMOKED inside the room. The hotel has a Non Smoking Policy and reminder are pasted behind the door. But, these guests will ignore the signs and smoke. The intoxicating of cigarette smokes and smells will filled up the room and annoyed the non smoker guests such as me. Complained to the front desk but there was not much they could do apart from spraying the corridor and inside my room with air-freshner which doesn't help much. I suffered from minor asthma and migraine as well. Cigarette butts was also found littered at the lift area. I was also disturbed by some noisy guests upon their arrival/check out. As the corridor is very narrow, and non carpeted floor, the noise from the luggage on the floor as well as loud chat from these guests really annoying other sleeping guests. It is hoped that the Management of Metro Hotel would take serious note and action on these two matters. With the loose adherence to the NON SMOKING Policy to the ignorant and inconsiderate guests, I do not think I will choose to stay at Metro Hotel on my next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

we stayed there for a few days with our children...the hotel lacotion is very strategic as it is near to kl sentral and NU Sentral Mall, just a few minutes walking...very near to the hotel also have good restaurant...the room was clean...toilet also clean...got mini fridge also...the reception staff also very nice and welcome us well...we also want to thank one of their staff...not sure what is his potition...he wear green colour uniform...he willing to help us to carry our luggage to the hotel counter from the outside...that day was rainy day...

Great Location”

Metro Hotel KL Sentral is in a great location. There are many restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. Of course as others have mentioned the Sentral is located very close to this hotel another perk. We walked to the Petronas Twin Towers from this hotel no problem however, if you aren’t big on walking just across the street your prayers are answered (Sentral). We booked a room with no window and found it very nice and clean. The bathroom was a bit small however; it was clean so not a big deal. Overall, it was a nice stay and the location of this place really makes it. Internet worked great!

Beyond our expectation,love it! We booked 3rooms:1 quadruple, 2 doubleroom. All the rooms very spacious,clean and the rooms were well equipped. Strong wifi signal,staff very nice,specially Subur(?),thanks mate! Not to mention the location,very close to KL Sentral and very easy to find great food around the hotel,Old town coffee,kedai Husen just next to the hotel. I paid rooms with breakfast, breakfast menu so-so, one thing I didn't like it's coffee,no taste at all,please make a good one. Good thing was they also provide coffee to sell,so I just bought it and it's good! I love this place and would stay again with my fam on next July. Would recommend staying at this hotel,keep up the good work!

There was two problem was the bathroom tiles when wet were very slippery, and could cause a fall easily the second on agoda I booked pay at hotel and the metro hotel bill my debit card the day before I arrived and I wanted to pay cash at the hotel. I like the location of this hotel, near KL sentral very convenience to get MRT, KTM and Monorial to all over the Mall at KL area like KLCC, Pravilion, Lot 10, Mid vally...... etc, the Nu sentral mall just across the road from KL sentral.
