Super Location at Jalan Austin Heights”

This Hotel is situated along a busy and brightly lighted row of shophouses, just beside Austin Heights Water & Adventure Park. It is usually crowded with locals who will hangout at the eateries after dusk. so its bustling along this street. There are many eateries around this neighbourhood so its super convenient. The famous The TOAST is 1 km away. GRAB ride to the TOAST is only 4 minutes. GRAB ride to Aeon Tebrau is 8 minutes. The bedsheets is very smooth and comfy. Bath towels are new and the room is super clean as well. We just love the location and we have booked the Hotel to stay again in November 2019. Thumbs Up to Midori Concept Hotel . A great hotel at a Superb location.

Excellent Stay at Midori Concept Hotel”

My family and I enjoyed our 1 night stay at Midori Concept Hotel. The room and bathroom is clean only the bedsheet got a small stain. I requested from the male staffs for extra 2 pillows as I have sprained my neck earlier, within 10mins he brings the pillows to my room. Thank you

Nice Boutique Hotel”

I will only check in Midori if I am staying over in Johore Bahru. Have been going since 2018. The place is well maintained unlike other hotels in JB. I like the design and concept of this boutique hotel-though small but all contained. Brought several different groups of friends & all loved it. The staff are wonderful too especially Justin. Will definitely go back.

I will only choose this hotel when I go to JB”

I go to JB super often and this is the best hotel i've stayed in in terms of value and cleanliness. I have no complaints at all about the hotel and I am very particular when it comes to hotels. Super clean and very, very near everything in Mount Austin. In fact, if you're there for the weekend, you dont even need to get out of the place at all 'cos everywhere is walkable, except for an 8min grab to tebrau/toppen mall. Right next door to KTV, pao fan, tons of bbt shops, clubs (dont worry u cant hear music at night)/ massage... 100% will go back there. The hotel is super clean and i can't find any hair on the floor even after i purposely dropped it to see if they really clean up. They also have soap and shampoo and toothbrush and good quality bedroom slippers. I have never praised a hotel that much and this review goes to show how much I enjoyed my stay here. I will be back!!

Hey they have a theme park next door.”

The decos & interiors are pleasant to look a. I liked those fancy dark blue galaxy-like floor tiles, they are mesmerizing. Front line staffs should have been better. Well you know, i've been to Philippines, the staffs there are much responsive and attentive to guests. So i hope the hotel management could train their staffs to be much more professionals next time. Aside the hotel being nice looking concept hotel, i say the guests book would like to book this hotel is because it is situated just beside an arguably cool theme park in Johor, Austin Heights Water & Adventure Park.

Exceptional”

Hotel is located near eateries, board game cafes, themed park/golf club and 5-10mins car ride to Aeon Tebrau Mall. Pretty convenient to travel. Pls prepare extra RM100 for deposit purpose. The 1st floor lift lobby & our hotel room is too gorgeous to ask for more~. I requested for a quiet room, but was given a room directly opposite the service storeroom The ruckus caused during night & morning is truly a put off. But overall, it was still a good stay. Noted that security guard was on duty at hotel entrance too during night time. Definitely worth going. ;)

Overall the hotel cleanliness is good , bed also very comfy , cozy environment . The hotel is above standard . Nearby also got restaurant , massage and bubble tea shop . Its very convenient . I will definitely choose midori if i travel to jb again

Suite staycation at Midori”

Well, we decided to do a 1-night stay in the suite at Midori after a year of exploring Mt Austin. This hotel is highly sought after. Extremely clean, very new and indeed, very comfortable. The greenery makes you feel really at ease if you are looking to wind down after a long week. With or without the suite, this hotel is still on the pricier side. Nonetheless, I have stayed multiple hotels in the area. All I can say you get your money's worth. Unfortunately, the room's aircon broke down during my stay and I did not sleep well. We were devastated of course. (We knew because the aircon outside the room was colder than the room inside) As it was 2+ am when it broke down, we could not reach anyone. It was very sad because we also missed the morning train as the phone did not charge so the alarm did not ring. We informed the staff the next morning.

Worth the money & Friendly Staffs”

Stayed 1 night for a business trip. Liked the Green Concept that the hotel uniquely displayed. Though the room was small, but I felt it was just apt for the money that I paid. Both the room and hallway were clean. What I liked best was the staff's courtesy & willingness to respond to customers query. I requested for a cup of fresh milk for breakfast and that was actually not part of the menu, but the barista did fulfill my request for free.

Cosy hotel within a safe and bustling township.”

Had a quick gateway and also to meet up with some friends. It was the best hotel in terms of location and the offerings. I needed a king size bed and not many hotels offer that. The location is good, near AEON tebrau and Austin Hill golf course. We drove in, the place is safe but there are no sheltered car park. You need to buy the parking coupons, similar to the ones in Singapore public car parks. Location wise it is fantastic as it is near to where our friends are staying.

Pros: It feels like you are staying in a 5-star hotel at a 3-star price. The concept is green and classy. Everything is brand-new. Cons: Toilet drain is choked. Informed the hotel reception about it. Not much view from the hotel window.

Totally satisfied”

My first stay at Midori and would be my preferred choice if I'm back to this area of Austin and surrounding. Staffs are courteous & place is clean. Room interior may seem like a love hotel but noted more families and business guests. Perhaps it was because of the Singapore school holidays and the water theme park next door. As in JB, lots of eateries around.

Great Location ”

We love the huge bathroom of our suite! Location is also near to everywhere we wanted to visit. Walking distance to cafes and salons. 5min grab ride to Aeon tebrau. Only downside is that room were a little stuffy and smaller than we expected. But Guess the huge bathroom balanced it out

Nice, comfortable hotel with good food around”

One of the best boutique hotels in JB...the Midori's rooms were well maintained and the beds are very comfortable. There are many food places surrounding the hotel so there is no lack of good food. Aeon Tebrau is just a 10min car ride away. Austin Heights is a nice area to stay in for a change from JB central.

Spacious and nice accommodation ”

the room is really spacious for three, clean and nice concept. I would definitely come back again if im travelling to JB. Also, a lot of nice eateries nearby which is very convenient. There is a breakfast foodtruck right infront hotel, their sandwich is nice :)
