Thailand is amazing, but Mook Lamai is SPECIAL!”
From the minute they picked us up at the pier at Koh Mook, the Mook Lamai staff were exceptional. Tid literally took care of everything for my wife and I, and even had flowers and rose petals on our bed for our honeymoon. Nina was able to provide a complete rundown of the island for us and had a number of good recommendations for activities for us to do. Tid helped us arrange for a private longtail boat to do the Emerald cave EARLY and this was one of the best experiences we've had our entire time in Thailand. Not only did we get the sunrise on the boat, the boatman had full gear and was our guide swimming into the cave. We got to enjoy the cave alone for over 25 minute before more tourists arrived, and then the boat man took us to a local snorkeling hole completely unexpectedly. This is the type of arrangements that only Mook Lamai could provide. When we come back to Thailand, without question we will return to our family at Mook Lamai!

We stayed two nights at Mook Lamai and had a wonderful stay. Ted, who runs the place, and the other staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, so from our experience the restaurant was great too. We didn’t have other meals there. The whole resort area especially the pool is beautiful and peaceful as the resort is located a few minutes away with tuk-tuk from the harbor and the main restaurants on the island. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone going to Koh Mook, it is worth the money.

A great resort in Mook”
We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Lamai. Albeit it is not on the beach as the others, it is conveniently located in between the two sides of the island. Thus, in a few minutes, you can go either way. And they'll arrange a scooter for you, free of charge. Pick up too. The staff were great, always available and true to their culture always with a smile and willing to help you out. We really felt welcomed (as we actually WERE welcomed) and felt at home during our short stay. Definitely recommended! Thanks for having us!

Very friendly and helpful staffs, clean and thoughtfully designed room. Big thank you to Mr Tid, hotel manager made our stay comfortable and homely. Will recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Mook. The free taxi service is great,and the tour operator ,Mr. Yong office near to the jetty, he provided an excellent service for our tour to Emerald cave and Koh Kradan.

Fab place with staff that make your trip awesome”
It's not on the beach but very close about 5 min by bike. If you can handle that you must stay here when visiting koh mook. The staff make it so good. They will do so much for you. Excellent at having free bikes and access to scooter rides to restaurants and beach. Rooms are nice and pool is delicious. A must stay and one we will return to

Small scale luxury & comfort”
This accommodation is perfect for those who are looking for a comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Its not situated at the beach but they have a free taxi service to bring you there. Charlie beach is a lovely beach to hang out by the way. For those who love diving, I would recommend you a trip to Koh Rok. It can be arranged at Koh Mook. G&E

Nice pool, location not great”
Mook Lamai has extremely friendly and helpful staff, the restaurant seems to be one of the best on the island. The pool is great. However the location less good - a tuk-tuk ride away from the sea, though these are provided free by the hotel together with bikes

Charming little island”
Awesome, beautiful room with every comfort you could ask for... A/C, hairdreyer, and the most comfortable bed we have found in southern thailand! Lamai, the owner was super helpful with advice and arranging activities and transportation. The hotel is not on the beach but a 5-10 minute walk on this cute, authentic island will bring you to gorgeous beaches. We walked around the whole island and saw all the other hotels and felt very happy about our choice!

Great newyears eve that will be remembered”
Tid and Kong (spelling?) make us feel really at home, extremely fresh resort a little bit higher in price but so worth it. The breakfast was awesome, you order what you like and eat until you are full. We spent time here during New Year’s Eve and they invited all guests to new years party, highly appreciated. We lived in family bungalow and was impressed of the standard😊🏝

A decent place to stay for a few days on the island. Staff were super friendly and helpful while the rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the price was not justified given the distance from the beach and comparative prices of nearby resorts. Good but not great.

Amazing rooms with the nicest and helpful staff”
We loved our stay here. The manager (unsure how to spell his name) was so welcoming and took the time to help out each guest. We did a day trip to Koh kraden and emerald cave which was all organised for us. I can't say a bad word about this place and we hope to visit again!

Best place in Mook and possibly all the Thai islands ”
We’ve been coming to Thailand every year for 4 years and this place is the best we’ve stayed. The rooms are stylish and sleek, polished concrete, teak and tiles. Air con is silent! The pool is lovely and peaceful and the aesthetics of the whole place are consistent with the rooms. But the thing that really stands out is the service. The host could not do enough for us, sorting out everything we could have wanted and then some. Bringing us extra things we remarked we liked, hooking us up with other guests to share private transfers. Immediately seeing to everything. You have to go swimming with the bioluminescent plankton - it’s a fabulous experience. We also went fishing - which the kitchen happily cooked up the results of for a nominal fee. My only reluctance to recommend it so highly is that we might not be able to get a room next time if it gets the credit it deserves

Best Hotel of our two Week trip”
Best hotel, super nice rooms and design. It is amazing how much detail they put in with decoration and lights etc. best manager and staff. Super friendly and helpful. It was great to have local staff that wanted to show you all they could from the wonderful islands. The manager organized amazing trips. Food was great and best value for money! We would recommend this hotel to everyone and if we go back to Thailand we would definitely come back. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

Great hospitality, Clean pool ”
We really enjoyed the stay, at first we thought the location would be too secluded but they send us to anywhere we'd like at anytime, the island's not so big so we can reach anywhere we'd like within lightening speed. They recommended great locations and restaurants on the island and we went on Emerald Cave tour with a surpise stop in the middle of the ocean and were amazed by giant starfish. The breakfasf choice was limited but they offered both western and thai with a good taste. We had the pool access room, every evening we chilled on our terrace on sun loungers enjoying the slow life. We recommend this resort for anyone travelling to this island.

Great hotel with helpful staff and beautiful rooms”
Good, quiet hotel with beautiful rooms. The pool area was very nice. The breakfast was good, in addition to the basic things on the breakfast table you can order other things such as bacon and eggs from the list for free. The restaurant was cheap and good, and a lovely cat family with three kittens also spent time there. The staff was really nice and helpful!
