There's really nothing to complain about Moritomizu Backpackers. Everyone at the hostel is super friendly (eg: staff people were drinking/chatting with the guests after their shift / eating / cooking together / giving great recommendations / even taking guests to the Ski Resorts by car), the place is very clean and the location (5min to JR Station on foot) is also really good. Maybe the only thing that could be a negative point is, that you have to leave the hostel every day from 10:30am until around 3pm (not sure what time tho) in order for them to clean everything - but when you're out doing things, this won't bother you anyway...

Great location”
This hostel is a very close walk to Nagano Station. It had a homey feel to it, not not a proper hotel, it was really nice. The owner was very friendly, though he English was not great, she tried very hard to make sure everything was ok and even tried to have a bit of conversation. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap place to crash while in Nagano.

Loved our stay here - the staff was super friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything! 5 min walk to the main train station at Nagano was very helpful. Facilities were very clean; I liked the shower. The only thing you have to deal with is not being able to be in the building from 10:30a-4p as they go through their cleaning rounds, but that seems to be quite common in Japanese hostels.

Good location, less than five minutes to JR station, the staff are nice and the facilities are good, everything is clean and well organized, the price would be a bit more affordable but all at all, love this place and will definitely stay there again if I will be in Nagano next time.

Great place will stay again if I'm in nagano. They gave me all the instruction on where to find the local food which was my primary objective. Night chatting to other members and staff was great. Thank you for the hospitality.

Its ok for one night stay”
I stayed in this hotel for 1 night with my friend. The staff was very helpful to me find the way going to tateyama. The hotel near from Nagano station. Its only takes 5 minutes walks. The hotel was clean but i cant use toilete inside my room and i also must rent towel here.

Great staff and location”
Very close to the JR station Staff made my stay excellent! The owner made tempura and a fish dish one night for all the guests to try! All the staff are very friendly and helpful Nice common area with free tea and coffee Really enjoyed my stay here! Highly recommended!!!

Freezing cold but clean”
I wouldn't recommend this place in winter, some beds are warm but some are freezing cold. Otherwise, it was okay. It was relatively clean and the beds were fairly spacious. The pillows were small and uncomfortable though, the almost solid kind. Staff was fairly obliging and nice. Kerosene heater smelled really bad. Some bathrooms were (seemingly again) out of service.

NO need to explain it any better. They do not allow anyone inside between 11am and 3pm. SO if you want to sleep, too bad. If you are tired and w3ant to rest: too bad. If you are sick: too bad.

駅からすぐのわかりやすい場所にあります。 駅ビルやコンビニ、スーパー、飲食店がすぐ近くにあるのでとても便利でした。 ドミトリーでも個人のスペースが広くて荷物を置く場所もありました。

カフェで会った他の宿泊者の方も気さくで、楽しく過ごせました。相部屋の方は関りがなかったのでよくわかりません。建物自体は、フレンドリーな雰囲気でした。

小布施マラソンの前泊で利用しました。 翌日に荷物を置かせてくださって、マラソンの後シャワーも使用させてもらいとても助かりました。

ドリカムのLIVE後に泊まる場所を探していて、こちらに泊まりました。 まず驚いたのが長野駅からの近さ。 若干の不安は部屋は誰でも入れてしまうセキュリティ😱 その他は不満はありませんでした。

3000円と安くて、 正直、寝れればよい！と、 なにも期待せずの利用でした。 が、まずよかったのが、 長野駅からとても近いこと、道もわかりやすい！ スタッフも親切だし、 洗面所やシャワールームも綺麗！ベッドも清潔！ リビングにはフリーのコーヒーやお茶があり、くつろげる工夫！ 次回はここにゆっくり泊まり、周囲を観光してみたくなりました^ ^ チェックインが21:00までと早いのは唯一使いづらいところかも。 (チェックインしてからの外出はok) 仕事後に都内から高速バスで〜という使い方ができない！ でも、 とっても素敵なGHでした！

ライブ参戦”
長野でのライブ参戦を急に決めた為、駅近、会場も近い場所で探していてこちらを利用しました。 冬場にシャワーは寒いので、ライブ帰りに銭湯に行きましたが、予約した個室は一人で小さいけど2部屋続きで広く、荷物の整理とかとても便利でよかったです。 ただ、窓には薄いカーテン1枚だったので冷気が凄く、普段は余り使わない暖房をガンガン入れてしまいました。 でもロケーションも良いし、個室でもお手頃価格だったので機会があればまた利用したいと思います。
