Extremely nice hotel for staycation”
Checked in on the 24th of Feb 2022 and checked out on the 26th of February. Everything about the hotel was perfect. From SOPs to staff, to service.Had a lovely time here for a staycation with my family. It was my first time at Camar Resort. Everything was pleasant, checking-in was a breeze I would like to extend credit to the Duty Manager on that day, Mr Izzudin ( I'm not so sure the spelling) for his gracious attitude and warm hospitality and ayuni for being extremely nice and courteous and always willing to assist with any queries we might have. The overall vibes and service was outstanding. It was too hard to say goodbye to all the staff. The room we stayed had a private courtyard and direct access to pool overlooking a stunning view of the above skies. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable and my family really loved it.Love the surroundings at this pool area. Very calming and relaxing.Definitely will be back again for the next visit . 👍

A very pleasant stay”
We had no complaints about this hotel, literally none. Unlike some of the negative reviews, we really didn't find anything out of place here. Yes, the location is in a quiet area. And the rooms are not right on the beach. But, it's only a dollar grab ride to more happening areas and food joints. And the beach was less than a 100m away from our pool access room. Speaking of which, the room was extremely comfy and clean. The bed was one of the best that we ever had in a hotel. And, there's a ceiling fan for those who don't sleep with the aircon on. And having the access to the pool was a nice touch. Literally step out of bed and out the door to the pool. Breakfast was simple, but plenty. With an alternating ala carte menu to order from. And having it in view of the gorgeous beach in the mornings was really nice. The beach is really quiet in the morning by the way. And lastly, the staff did everything right and we're always greeting us. Kudos to Camar Resort, we will be back!

I had the best time being a beach bum here. Booked the villa and was pleasantly surprised at how big the room was. The room was clean and had like a mini pool/tub at the side of the room on top of the bathtub in the bathroom. The beach was clean although not much activity it was great for me as I what I wanted was a nice quiet stay. The hotel buffet was a bit lacking I feel. The hotel staff mentioned that it was their first week reopening the breakfast buffet so I guess it’s understandable. Good foods but not a lot of options at the time. Location wise it was right in cenang which makes my trips to the cenang centre pretty easy. We just took grab and it only cost us about RM6 per way. Overal I’d give my stay 4/5 stars! Hope to come back and be a beach bum again.

We stayed for 3 nights. Very nice resort, good location, spacious room, clean n comfy bed, private beach, friendly & helpful staffs❤️ *from main street the resort covered with bushes n look bit scary but dont worry, once u reached at d resort, ull b surprised with d hospitality n good scenery. *breakfast was delicious n varieties, i dont understand how come some reviewers said that the food wasnt variety enough n limited. For me it was more than enough for breakfast👍 *if u booked beach wing room, u need to walk for 2@3 min frm d reception area. This room near by d beach n breakfast area, n if im not mistaken it might slightly bigger than the room which is at d pool side,or maybe coz of the room arrangement🤔😅. *ok then dats it, overall it was a great stay n valueable, honest review but stil depends on the individual thoughts, as im not dat kind of fussy ppl. ✌️😊

Camar was not the first resort which popped up on my choice of hotels in Langkawi but I have no regrets. From the time we stepped into the hotel the staff were extremely helpful and friendly not to mention going out of their way to find mint for our mojitos! If you're looking for a laid back, relaxing stay in Langkawi this hotel is for you. The pool was pristine and breakfast options were more than adequate. The resort is a short Grab ride from Pantai Cenang and there is nothing you cannot get from close by. We even booked tours and exchanged currency right across from the hotel with extremely competitive rates. I hope the resort keeps up their high level of cleanliness and professionalism for years to come.

Spend 3 days 2 nite memorable experiences at this lovely resort. I check-in at 2pm, and immedietly got a room. Beautiful pool view room, nice interior, clean and they gave me free snacks. My kids luv the pool and they love more the private beach which is so clean and peaceful not as crowded as pantai cenang beach. The breakfast was so good and delicious with selection of buffet and a la carte for you to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful and offer the bestest service 👍🏻👍🏻. I cant find any flaw and definitely recommended this resort to everyone. Keep up the good works and service 😊

Fantastic staff. Cheery, friendly and very helpful. Room was very spacious with very comfortable roomy bed. Slippers and robe supplied. Large bathroom area with roomy shower area. Towels and bedding changed regularly. Mini bar in room was topped up with 4 drinks and crisps each day. Also had filtered water tap,kettle,teas and coffee. Breakfast was a combination of a la carte and buffet. Huge selection to suit all tastes. Gym and spa on site. Large Swimming pool with swim up bar. Sandy beach front location Pool/beach towels supplied and jugs of iced water brought to you at beach area. Everywhere kept clean and tidy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

My wife and I arrived with a 21 month old and 4 month old babies at the airport on the first day of LIMA (big event in Langkawi) on a Friday at 1pm (Muslim Friday prayers). We decided to have lunch for an hour-ish at the airport with the taxi queue being very long and the lack of grab cars. However at 2 plus, there was still neither grab cars nor taxis available. There were scammers approaching Caucasians for taxis but when we Asians approached, we were told heavy traffic and they will not take us. Scammers from car rental companies were also trying to get us to take perodua cars for 120rm/day. So we thought Camar resort could save my family by assisting to arrange for transport but we were informed that they were unwilling to send transport due to the traffic jam. But after bugging the taxi counter many times, we finally were told to walk 5 minutes to the entrance of the airport where there was another taxi counter. There it was 5-10 men refusing to drive in the “traffic jam”. When a lady driver finally came in after 10-15 mins wait, she told us during the ride that Langkawi grab drivers are mostly part timers and not many taxi drivers here are willing to work during Fridays and weekends, what more during LIMA. After checking in, we saw that Camar had shuttles between the resort and Cenang Mall. So we told them we will cab to Cenang and agreed that the resort will send a shuttle to fetch us. How bad can a resort treat a family with 2 babies within the same day? But no. At 8pm, received a call from the resort that due to traffic jam, I have to cab back myself as the shuttle will not come. “Traffic jam” at the airport and at Cenang area during LIMA were both additional 10 mins to travel time. It was exaggerated by both taxi drivers and Camar resort. But here is the thing. In Langkawi, there is this laidback vibe. Hence if you adjust your expectations accordingly, then life will be much better. At Camar, the facilities are good. Pool is cleaned ever

We had an amazing time in this resort as the room and facilities is very clean and nice and also the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Irenus the bartender, I wasn't sure is it the correct name, he did wow us by his extra miles service and also the receptionist Jannah who is being very helpful and friendly by providing us the location where we can buy the dry seafood item in a very clear description. We will definitely come and stay again in this resort for our next Langkawi trip. Amazing resort with super friendly and helpful staff, worth the price!

Stayed at the beach wing room, and had a good view of the sea from the balcony. Very windy as it is close to the sea. Staffs are especially helpful and friendly. There is a nice and clean pool which is big enough, and also a poolside bar. The area is clean and so are the rooms, except the room floors need a little polishing (my opinion) maybe. Beach is fantastic, sandy and litter free. They provided to our many request to make our vacation enjoyable. Will definitely come back.

Camar hd a very great location, for people who are looking for a quieter beach, go choose Camar. They provide great views even from the rooms. Breakfast by the beach is something we look forward to everyday during our 8days stay. We were served soooo friendly-ly by this staff named Aizuddin or Zainuddin I cant really recall the name, but this brother helped so much, he's very hostile! Location wise, you just need a few mins drive to Cenang, not a trouble at all! Food is everywhere so it's not hard to find along Camar. What would be great is that if Camar can provide more variance of food for bfast. They alternate the same food every 3 days. I enjoyed the american bfast more because i tend to get bored with local bfast 😬. But food is all good in general! Once again, thanks a lot Camar. Will come again!!

My husband bday was amazing thanks to Dayang and her team, who helped get the bday deco on point even the watermelon cutting the way i requested and balloons with pictures hanging from a lovely row of balloons, a pretty pair of swans , the bday banner, the flower petals! Perfect, the hotel was clean and rooms were spacious, bed was heaven to sleep on, the pool was lovely, no fault to find! Perfect in every single WAY!

Camar resort is more than expected! Friggin hell the beach was just footsteps away. Ada path directly to beach. And very much of privacy,peace & quiet. The staff were so attentive. No malas2 here. The cleaners, security guards and receptionists were beyond helpful! Their work is exceptional. Shout out to Aizuddin for being extra tolerant towards all sorts of requests. They went out of their way to help guests, no matter what pangkat, they all did exactly the same tasks. Their service is SUPERB!

I booked lagoon room, so that can direct acccess to the pool. At the moment we checked in, i’m wondering why the pool water not so clear. 2nd day we realized that input supply murky water. So the whole day management struggling to recover the pool back to its service. But we still manage to swim for a while. Overall room condition is greats! Nice looks but a bit narrow room. But still manage to let my 8 yrs old son sleep with us in a same room. Breakfast included. It chargeable RM42 for breakfast 6 yrs old above, luckily we got FOC maybe my son too skinny. Breakfast lounge in front of the beach. Totally greats view. Private beach next to Holiday Villa beach resort. Direct access to the beach within the hotel property. Staffs were friendly and customer oriented. They are managed to explain clearly what goes wrong. Overall is awesome!

Had a nice staying in Camar Resort Langkawi for 2 days. Me and partner will very impressive with the staff services. Their private beach is clean and we had nice breakfast with the beach view too. The breakfast was good and they changed the menu everyday. The pool is big and clean as well. Outside of the hotel has a lot of nice restaurants too, is just walking distance. very convenient

This was our first time in Langkawi and we chose Camar Resort for its location and we were not disappointed. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with friendly staff and a cool refreshing drink at check in. The Deluxe Room was spacious with a great view over the pool and beach. The rooms have a free mini bar which was a delight to my partner and the turn down service at night with chocolates was a lovely touch. As i am gluten intolerant the staff at the restaurant were very accommodating with the guidance of Chef Wan providing me with gluten free meals. The Manager Ganesan as well as the wait staff and bar staff including Ameara and Devon provide fantastic customer service and we will definitely return to Camar Resort.

Enjoyed our stay. The facilities were good. An easy walk outside the resort the local restaurants and a convenience store. We enjoyed the free breakfast buffet and complimentary mini bar. The rooms were clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great access to the beach with water sport activities available at your leisure (seperate from the resort). Not a far drive to and from the airport.

Best resort in Pantai Tengah Langkawi”
1. Hotel: Rooms were amazing, one pair took the pool wing room and the other took beach wing room. Both were amazing. The beach wing is closer to beach but the pool wing is just three minutes walk to beach as well. The swimming pool is amazing too. A lot of greenery in the resort landscape. 2. Location: Nice quiet location which is closer to Pantai Cenang compared to the resorts in Pantai Kok 3. Breakfast: 10/10, flawless service and great food. Trust me take the package with the breakfast. It's really worth it
