Hidden gem, close to the hidden beach”
Fantastic stay, in peaceful surroundings, yet 7 minutes walk to the Hidden Beach. 20 minutes walk to the daily night market. Many, many food places within easy reach. The host even took us out to a lovely fish restaurant. I hired a scooter from just up the road for 20 ringgit. Free breakfast is a bonus too.

Good location, warm and attentive staff, Good facilities, breakfast is good enough for this type of hotel (other hotels like this don't provide breakfast at all), enjoyed the swimming pool so much! In short we felt home!

Gut, günstig und gemütlich”
We're a family of five, travelling for half a year, and we're usually more into camping, being in the nature and outsides than residing in luxury resorts. Maybe good to know what this review is based on. We had a very warm welcome and allover a stay, where we couldn't have asked for more. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything! The gave us the feeling to be so happy to have our kids around and everybody took so much care of them. The even got freshly baked pancakes for breakfast, where we, as well, had more than we needed. It was more a western style breakfast, which suited us very well. We loved to be at the pool set in a beautiful garden, enjoying the quiet. There are different types of restaurants around and heaps of scooter and car rentals to explore the island. So, if you're not into staying in the room all day long, we would recommend this resort to you. If you value to have a modern, spacious and bright room, you'd probably prefer another location.

Lovely stay with very nice staff”
We had a lovely stay at the Green Village! The place looks picturesque and the pool is wonderful. All three of us, but especially our little child felt very welcome and well looked after! Another plus: we saw soo many beautiful birds and even monkeys in the trees above our bungalow! -Please say THANK YOU to your friendly cook/housekeeper from us, unfortunately our taxi arrived so soon we didn‘t get to say bye :( so sorry! - Thank you also to the friendly gardener aka Hoo-Hoo-Man (as our child namea him) for teaching us how to make bird sounds with our hands :)

Honeymoon Cycling Trip”
We were here on a honeymoon cycling trip for 7 days. We booked the chalet as we need bigger room area to work with our bicycles. We felt the warmth and vibe of the place as soon as we entered. We love how they decorated the place with multi religions and cultures artifacts and antiquities. The workers are very accommodating too, felt like a family. Recommended for those looking for a quiet uninterrupted stay.

It’s Green It’s simple It’s Friendly. They are very friendly and is doing all they can to give us the best service they can. Overall Great Hospitality. If you are into budget , Eco , Local Homely Feel then it’s a good place for you. Tq for letting us feel at home.

Visited right after pkp. So cant expect much. Pool water is dirty. Sleeping environment was ok. For me i was ok . But for other family member they r not ok. So its all about ur expectation

We stayed in a terrace room, which is acceptable for short stay. The staff are helpful . Location is just in convenient access to beaches, and restaurants The swimming pool having white debris, not sure what were that.

Bare minimum, no AC, ended up staying elsewhere after two days.”
Price definitely reflects what you get. No AC so we moved into a different resort after two nights with more amenities for 400RM. Bed, sheets, and towels were clean. Furniture/decor was old, hole in the ceiling where AC unit connects. With the door closed there were large openings to the outside where bugs entered the room. Left with 3 spider bites. Old tv that we didn’t use. No where to put toiletries in the bathroom and very old utilities. No view out of a little window to the walkway, kept the curtain closed the whole time for privacy. Would have been nice to have some lounge chairs by the pool. Barely interacted with staff, didn’t know who worked there and who didn’t. Only benefit was the 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurant around the corner. For a little more money you can get much better accommodations, here you pay for what you get so don’t expect much!

Pros -helpful staff -not far from Tengah beach (7 mins walk) Cons -dirty -breakfast is quite poor -bedding was not changed before I checked in -pictures on the website don’t reflect the reality -dirty pool -rooms cleaning won’t happen every day and before noon -the hotel takes no responsibility for stolen stuff (which basically allows the idea of stealing with no consequences)

Went there during peak season, waiting for rooms to be cleaned when check in, but still dirty. I booked 3 rooms, each room sure lack of something compare the others(eg. Mineral bottle, heater, cup...). very lack of staff, they are friendly but not so helpful cuz they very very busy. Everything is OLD no proper maintenance. Many mosquitoes and bugs. The only good thing: air cons are very cold and location is not bad. Not suitable for kids and couple cus many insects.

Hotel is quiet abandoned and no one is around.”
Booked for 4 nights but we only stayed for one night. My children were scared because there's only us at the hotel. The hotel 'lobby' is dim and quiet dark. The surrounding is a bit spooky. The room is extremely small for 4 adults and 2 kids. And the hotel is not by the beach as expected. Had to moved out even tho I know no refund from Agoda. Come here only if you don't mind staying totally alone on your own.

It’s budget place with a pool, but the whole site just needs some maintenance. It could be an awesome place with so much potential. We changed room twice, another guy ended up changing once, another family 3 times! Various reasons - no water, no electricity, being filthy etc. On the positive brekkie was good value, the Sri Lankan gardener very friendly and hard working and the manager (possibly ex now, we believe he was just sacked) was very helpful. The boys that clean the rooms were so so lazy. Until some work is done around the place I wouldn’t stay again.

Needs an overhaul ! ”
Arrived to be offered a room on the rear which was smelly and tiny . We asked for a better room to be given one overlooking the pool , bigger and not smelly but no tv no hairdryer fridge or control for air conditioning, so it was either on full blast or off . Power issues several times , the whole place is tatty and dirty, bed and pillows were rock hard and the bathroom door did not shut ! . Breakfast was awful . At night it was extremely noisy , the other guests had no consideration for those of us who wanted to sleep , there should be a cut off time for loud chatter and music, due to thin walls and gaps in the door. The only up side were that the location was good and the staff nice. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.

Expensive motel”
This place is more like a dormitory condition rather than a motel. For me with those amenities, its not worth for the money but at least the bed is comfy and there’s a swimming pool that you can use
