Simple out of the hustle and bustle of Cenang, clean, nice and cosy place to relax. Next door Bobi restaurant/cafe is a godsend. Nice food warm people. What more can you ask for?

Terrific place to stay in Langkawi. Staff were super nice and helpful, room was impeccably clean, and quite walkable to nearby beaches and restaurants. The walk into downtown was a bit of a hike, but I enjoyed it, safe for a single female traveler. Highly recommend you start your Langkawi journey here!

Great place”

This place is near some eateries and the room is quite spacious. Great for no frills travellers to be in. The room has both the fan and the airconditioner to beat the heat in Langkawi. They have a huge water dispenser for cold and hot water outside the room for you to use. Place is central in the area whereby there is not much additional surcharge to pick up by tour's shuttle services and it is a rather peaceful place There is also a convenience store within 5 minutes of the motel

Very high standards for a budget price”

Impressive hotel for the price. I would say it is at par or even better than than the 100$ roadside hotels I have been to in Canada. Impeccable, clean, all amenities. Of course, washroom is Malaysian style, with shower not separated from the rest, but aside from that you get a mini fridge, kettle, coffee, filtered water, excellent wifi, air can, and best of all the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in Asia.

I was very skeptical first about the motel, I guess we can not judge something from its name. the motel was awesome, it is located at pantai tengah prob 20 mins walking to cenang. room was clean, air con worked great, fan worked great, bathroom clean, water pressure is awesome, and hot water worked great. staff is so friendly, easy check in process, don't forget to change your money at the airport, you need to pay MYR 10 per night for government tax. there are plenty of little mart around, restaurants, also they have bike rental at the property. Could not ask for better. If you don't want to rent a bike, get grab app to catch a ride around the island. Taxi price is reasonable here too.

Very clean, nice, friendly peoples. Managed by family members. Rooms are actually surrounding the owner house. Island hopping service and other packages available. 10 min ride to Chenang.

We stayed for 4 days in NR Langkawi Motel and it's a value for money. The people were friendly and responsive. They even have Scooter rentals and package tours within Langkawi

Friendly staff, basic but clean”

When we arrived the lady at the front desk was lovely and very welcoming. Room was basic, aircon wasn't great but, in combination with the fan it was a fine temperature. Overall, good value, basic accommodation, great if you're travelling on a budget.

Nice family, good value”

Place is owned by a nice family and rooms have all you need. They are kept clean although certain things could be replaced. Located close to a beach but I recommend renting a scooter for ca 5 EUR per day. All in all, I had a nice stay.

Spot on”

The pros of this property are: There are plenty of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Although basic, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area is pretty quiet which ensures for a good nights sleep. There is also a smaller quiet beach within 10 minutes walk. If you want to go to the main beach on this part of the island it is only 6 RM in a taxi. The cons are: The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room and was non-existent throughout our stay. There are no facilities such as restaurants or a bar on-site, however, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There were only three TV channels in our room. I would definitely stop here again and believe that this place offers value for money.

Clean, Convenient, Comfortable”

We were in Langkawi for 4 nights, and loved our stay at NR Langkawi Motel. The location was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Our room was clean and the bed was big and comfortable. We rented a motorbike from the owner, and it was less expensive than from the nearby rental shop. There is an inexpensive laundry service across the street, and many restaurants within walking distance. Definitely recommend this place!

Friendly staff, nice place but a bit different from the pictures ”

The staff are very friendly and so helpful, the room size is good, but it looks older than the pictures and smells funny, moldy. The shower was a bit damaged and realising water all over the bathroom. The hotel is 7 minutes walk from the beach and close to restaurants and bars.
