Great Location, Fantastic View”

We were very impressed with the Traders Hotel. Our room was superb and had a fantastic view of the Muar River. Breakfast is good and the staff welcoming and courteous. The hotel is well placed for shopping in Muar town or taking an evening stroll along the river promenade. Would not hesitate in staying here again if we were in the area.

Pleasant Stay”

I booked 3 rooms & requested to be on the same floor if not side by side for an overnight stay with my families, & the hotel managed to have all our rooms side by side. Perfect! I superlove the fact that they have abundant of plugpoints in the room. TV is basic; breakfast spread is basic. Location is perfect. The Mi Bandung Muar at the foodcourt beside the Hentian Bandar Maharani and the hotel (kiosk Abg Ismail), was uhmazing. No need to go far to get one, ok! And Muar (or the moniker "Muo")? Rightly so voted as the cleanest town in the Peninsular... because IT IS true! Well done Muarians!

Everything about the hotel is good and perhaps beyind my expectation with the amount pay . Highly suggested for traveller who do not demand for any 5 star" ish" facilities.. highly suggested The places to eat are easy to find and.. u have 3 restaurant down the building - tg emas takes only 6 minutes and coffe house also 6 minutes. Congrats TRADERS HOTEL MUAR. will come again

Nice River View and Spacious Room”

It was a budget stay at a budget price. But we were happy enough that we had a room with a fantastic view of the Muar River. And beside having to bring your own hair dryer and bedroom slippers, we feel there wasn’t anything lacking. We were appreciative of the comfortable bed provided and being able to have a nice warm shower after a hot day of shopping and eating in the quiet town of Muar - not to mention mingling with their friendly locals and trying out their night hawker stalls. Good location with streets of old fashion shop houses selling garments, daily essentials, souvenirs, watches and of course – food. Will patronise this old Hotel again on our next trip.

Strategic Location, Clean & Cozy”

It is a pleasure stay after a tired drive from KL to Muar to promote my energy saving solution. I purposely choose to stay at Muar Traders Hotel because I have a site inspection at the same hotel for energy saving solution. It turns out indeed a pleasant stay with big bath room & comfortable room. The lobby is not located at the ground floor so please ask the security guard for direction. Plenty of parking and it is free and that's what I like most because I am driving for my business trip.

We had a pleasant stay at the Muar Traders Hotel. It is serene and relaxing. The staff are friendly especially the people serving at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is easily accessible and very cosy. The room is comfortable and clean. It's within short distance to the mosque and Tanjung Emas for evening walks and riverside activities. There is one suggestion to improve though. Maybe the management needs to plan for the rooms refurbishment to freshen up it's outlook in the future because we love the hotel's location and think it has a great potential.

Good location just beside the river. The room with one queen one single bed was spacious and very clean. Ample parking all around the hotel. Walking distance to the night market on Friday night. Not sure whether the night market opens everyday. Apart fr the buffet spread, we could also special order mee rebus and lontong for breakfast which was inc in room rate. Many FnB outlets on the ground floor. Proximity to back to back lane B2BL attractions of so many murals. Near to Tanjung Emas Park which is a must go. Take the river cruise which is so worth the RM12/-. Kopi 434 is also a must do for coffee lovers and again within walking distance. Love Muar. My first time here and Bandar Maharani Bandar Diraja is really befitting of this lovely clean town. Make sure to savour Muar’s local delicacies.

Pros... 1 best location 2 best river view from 12th floor room 3 clean toilet 4 lots of toiletries 5 bedsheets is superior quality. 6... 4 pillows in each room ( my weakness) 7. Super delicious breakfast. 8 very good staff. 9. Domino's pizza and secret recipe just on ground floor. 10. Walking distance to Muar park. 12. Worth your value in budget hotel. Cones 1. Room are not sound proof, you can hear next room voices. 2. Carpets are stained because they are very old. 3. Only 12th floor guest see stained roof too because it's the top floor. 4. Room glass windows are stained too....they need to wipe the glass windows....but look like very rarely they clean. A good cleaning staff should do the cleanliness after every guest leave the room. Suggestions Please cover the gaps properly near the windows, so the people can't hear next room conversation. Please clean glass windows.

A good old-fashioned hotel”

Stayed here for 5 nights in a room no. 706. - A really huge room, you can fit the whole football team with this room - literally. - A fantastic 270 degrees of view. You will be mesmerized by the view of Muar River on the left, Muar town on the right. - The room was old fashioned, but all the equipment are working perfectly except for the air-cond that took a while to cool down the room. - The king-size bed was comfortable. - Breakfast was good but too spicy for my liking. - Staffs are friendly.

Location wise”

Located in the middle of Muar town. Few restaurant below the hotel, lobby at 6th floor. All tourist spot within walking distance like satay for breakfast and cendol di raja just next to the hotel. New refurbish hotel, clean room and bathroom, complete toiletries (with toothbrush & slipper in room). Breakfast served in ala carte maybe because of covid, need to select only one meal, no free flow bread or fruits etc. With the price consider a good hotel for me.

This is my second visit to this hotel. Never disappointed me as usual. Totally worth the price. Will definitely choose it again if I have to book hotel in muar. Again, the only thing that I’m not that satisfied is the option of breakfast. Please provide more variety in breakfast option. Thank you

Comfortable Hotel with Great Views”

The Check-in is at the 6th level. Stayed 2 nights and was given a room on the 11th floor - we had a balcony with a fantastic view of the Muar River and bridge, as well as the town. Comfortable and spacious, it would have been better if the toilet was a little bigger. Strange to have a folding door which blocked half the sink, when there was so much space within the bedroom itself. Staff are friendly, breakfast was adequate but limited, and they had an egg station where you can get your eggs done any style. Quite near to the back alley murals (about 2 streets away) which makes for a fun activity to do, if you go in the opposite direction, you'll get to an impressive mosque and another park beyond. Just next to the hotel are a few container-shops with pretty good food in the evening. Within the hotel on the ground level are cafes -there's one chocolate pancake/crepe cafe that is excellent.

we were lucky to get a new renovated room...even though the building itself seems quite old. the room is biggggggg... and breakfast was reasonable with the price u pay..and the view from our room was breathtaking..overseeing the muar river...

First, Muar is a very nice historical town. Right behind this Muar Traders Hotel is the Muar river and further down is the Sultan Ismail Bridge. Beautiful view from the hotel. and one can take a peaceful walk along the riverbank. Bus station and eateries are within walking distance. I was at the 11th floor. The room is spacious and the ventilation is good. The twin sharing single bed is big and comfortable with clean linen. The bathroom is clean and complete with toothbrush set, shaver and etc etc. There is only one complain which is the cleanliness of the kettle. There were stains inside the kettle which can be wash off. Nevertheless, I had a pleasant stay in Muar Traders.

Good basic business hotel.”

Good basic business hotel located in the city centre. Muar is small enough to walk around in, although it really depends where you're going. The hotel is above a Big Apple and Dominos for anyone who might be too lazy to actually want to walk further for a quick bite. Rooms are clean with good basic amenities. even if they are a bit on the small side. Don't expect plushness, but the mattress was comfortable and you can opt for different pillows based on personal choice, which is a nice touch. Had a decent view of the river if you're lucky enough to get a riverside view. Bathrooms are clean, good hot water and good water pressure - although my room didn't have a place to put your soaps etc, which made a shower a bit difficult. Overall good value for money.

Good location, allow you to walk around Muar from hotel location. Breakfast at the balcony facing the Maur river is scenic and peaceful.

I booked the standard room for only 1 night. This is the closest hotel to my site in Pagoh. Hotel located in the city of Muar and very close to the bus station, food stalls and market. Definitely will stay here again when I'm in Muar.
