Exceptional”

We had a lovely stay at the Mut Mee Garden Guesthouse. We had a regular villa with our own bathroom and it was basic but clean and well laid out. The grounds at Mut Mee are fantastic, you are right off the walking path on the Mekong with beautiful views as sunset. The common areas are shady with good fans and were a really comfortable place to relax and visit with other guests and the owners. The staff at Mut Mee are incredibly helpful and friendly and really helped make it a great stay. The only drawback to the stay was that we found the bed to be quite uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress and it was quite hard. Other than that I would definitely recommend Mut Mee if you are planning to stay in Nong Khai.

The price is very reasonable. Staffs very friendly and kind. Good view with Mekong river and near the Indochina market.

Friendly owners and peaceful atmosphere”

Lovely family-owned guesthouse facing the Mekong. Rooms surround a large garden with covered seating areas that have fans, outlets, and wifi. I stayed in both a basic room w/ bathroom and a deluxe room w/ bathroom. The basic room is great for the price, but the deluxe is a little quieter. Thank you Pao, Julian, Benny and all for the good conversations and hospitality!

Hard bed, not good value for cost”

Very hard bed, 2 pillows instead of 4, no hand towels and small cheap soap and no shampoo or condiments, no breakfast at a 900+ Bt cost. Great location on the river with beautiful grounds, very peaceful!!

Room did not match description or photos on agoda site. Grounds a mess. Would not move to room as seen on website. Staff not helpful at all. Left and found a nicer accommodation. Will not use agoda anymore as this is the third time photos did. It show actual room.

The best”

Get one of the new (actually not so new) rooms and you will love it. On the river and the boardwalk, Multilingual staff, kind of a hi-so backpackers atmosphere. You keep track of your purchases in a log they provide, pay when you leave. You'll come back.

A nice hotel by the River!”

Nice surrounding, nice view, nice facility. My friend and I have been staying here 3 saperate times now. We like this place.

Great place ”

We stayed at Mut Mee Garden for one night and it was a lovely experience. The place is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. In the morning we ordered breakfast and it was also great! The owners are friendly and kind, we had a lovely conversation with them. I'd really recommend this relaxing place in Nong Khai.

Wonderful staff and location”

The owners of this cute little guest house made our stay so wonderful. As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. The seating areas outside are stunning and right next to the Mekong River. The owners were extremely hospitable and were able to tell us all about some local attractions as well as some stories of them. We ended up staying an extra day because we liked the guest house so much. At the moment they are not doing food due to Covid, however, you have full access to the kitchen and drinks are available to purchase too.

Great guest house with a cool and peaceful garden”

Great location right on the Maekong. Lovely, green, cool garden. Nice rooms with artistic shower and toilet areas. Friendly staff and very interesting and well informed management team.

Center city on the river, tastefully designed and maintained to high standards, this wooded retreat is a wonderful place to stay.

Their best rooms are still very small and basic. Parking on the street. No breakfast. Narrow garden paths to navigate to and from the room. But it is on the river.
