Convenient and easy to access!”
Modern and clean tatami rooms, with convenient access to the Shin-Imamiya train station and metro. Plenty of convenience stores nearby. There is no coin laundry available a the hotel, but there is one just a 3-minute walk away. The staff were hospitable and well accommodating of requests as well!

No frills self-service hotel ”
Hotel is located near a welfare facility so you can see many of them especially at night. Neighborhood doesn’t feel too safe. Front desk is only available from 3-10pm. No luggage storage service and everything is self-service.

Good location in bad neighborhood ”
Shin-imamiya is a good location due to the availability of the subway line (doubutsuen), nankai line, and also the JR Osaka loop. However, the side street that the hotel is on has many homeless people. This is partially due to the welfare home located on the same side street. There is no staff available at the hotel for most of the time and you can only check in from 3-10pm. There is no cleaning service and you have to take out your own towel and trash to leave it at the door and they will hang new ones at your door. Single rooms are spacious though and hence pretty good value for money if a barebones hotel fulfills your needs.

Quite a shady neighborhood but with easy access to transits ”
Pros: The room is big, and it's very close to a very convenient train station. Cons: the area around is quite ghetto and dirty. Rooms are not very sound proof so there are noises in the midnight from the streets. Inside is cleaner than the outside but the clean towel smells like Tempura (?).

Budget friendly option - clean and comfortable ”
Neighbourhood is noisy at night and a bit grungy, but there are cheap places to eat nearby. Hotel is very clean and staff helpful. No luggage storage available which is not ideal but you can store bags nearby at a shop for cheap. This is a budget friendly option, decent sized room and comfortable beds.

Location is good, about 5mins from Shin Imamiya station, easy to find. Room is clean, new, also size quite big.. But only 1 bottled water for 5 nites stay.. Daily towel replacement in the plastic bag hanging in the door handle, very clever pick!

A cold place ”
The staff is nice and friendly but only available from 3-11pm. I wish they would hire more staff, I felt like staying at an empty place because of the lack of human staff. There is no WC brush or q-tips in the bathroom or hand towels (only a small individual towel was given). The hotel itself is new and clean. However, at night, people are loud inside and no sign is written to ask customers to be quiet.
