Best Hotels near the Beach in Suratthani

"This hotel has a beautiful lobby and are baggage was quickly attended to by porters once we exited ghe cab. The front desk expected us and had our reservation ready to go (the first time this has happened in 4 weeks if travelling). Check in was smooth though we had to pay extra for my breakfast since our occupancy was booked for only 1,not 2 on their system. The rooms are dated but clean and I always got a great sleep. There were no bugs in our room but a few large, slow mosquitoes in the lobby. I really enjoyed my Thai food in the restaurant and ate there many times. The service was great consistently for my husband and I. Breakfast is good too with a mix of thai and western foods, so you should be able to find something you will enjoy. The pool is sizable and refreshing. Massages were outstanding, we had 4 between my husband and I, all around 300 baht. They go very hard so you may be quite sore the next day, keep that in mind if you're flying. Our laundry service was efficient and undergarments were folded in packaged together in cellophane bags, while our larger items were all ironed, hung, and placed in our room wardrobes later that afternoon. Prices are per piece, not weight, and laundry staff did not speak English but were friendly and helpful nonetheless. Much of the staff speaks very little English but we had no problems getting our needs met. This hotel also has a large number of thai guests who are travelling as well. Take a tuk tuk for 15-20 baht per person to the night market if you'd like some street food. The area has other restaurants and western food in the area too. Overall, it's convenient having the pool, massage, and restaurant all under one roof. Great value for the money."

"We stayed here 2 nights as a stopover as we had a flight to catch! It’s location was amazing considering it was so close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle. However, it was far from anything else so would not recommend unless you want a good stopover! The staff was AMAZING!!! Cant emphasize it enough. Best staff we had on our whole trip to Thailand. Our driver dropped us off at the wrong hotel on our way there, and the MEET staff came and picked us up free of charge and with smiles on their faces! They also brought us to a night market for free (I believe we just tagged along as they were getting stuff for the hotel there) but they made it so fun and had us try some cool traditional Thai cuisine we wouldn’t have tried otherwise! Beds were super comfortable, rooms very clean. Breakfast was good, and they had instant coffee and little snacks available for free 24/7! "

"Nicely located near the Suratthani city pier, river side park & daily food night market. Walking distance to airport shuttle bus too. This hostel can arrange all sorts of transport connection to the islands, the inland attractions, national parks & even to the Andaman side. Beds are very comfortable, with privacy curtain. Towel provided. Clean. Guest can also use washing machine with a fee. Free coffee & tea round the clock."

Perfect location, 10 mins away from the center. The hotel room is really clean, staff very friendly and helpful. I will be returning for sure!!!!!"

"On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff. The room we had was on the river but as raining and young kids they upgraded us to pool villa. We missed the view but the kids loved the pool. Kids win. The breakfast was western style, my wish was for Thai food as really and honestly western food does not taste great in Thailand. The cleanliness was superb and views amazing. If there do not miss out on kamin caves a truly fantastic experience. Town centre and dam are great days out too. At the end of each evening it was a nice relief to come back to a comfortable place to relax. "

"Heading to Khao Sok, this was the perfect place to stop over and be ready for the departure from Ratchaprapha Dam pier for a 3 days package in the natural parc. The pier is at 3 km from Bansuanphutarn,. The bungalows are super clean, no air-con but a good fan. And in this area the nights are not so hot. So it works. All the confort you need is there. The Hotel is well indicated but make sure you get offline Maps or other means to drive to Bansuanphutarn because the Hotel is lost in the middle of nowhere. The area is super quiet, you can swim in the river but be cautious as they open doors from the dam and the flow increase rapidly. But it is not a big wave ;-) The resto is a key aspect of this hotel, the cooking is simply amazing. Try the fish !!! We tested almost everything and the food there is one of the best experience we had this time in Thailand. Needless to say that the staff there is ultra kind, and helpful. The owner speaks a good english."

"A couple owns these jungle bungalows and they are exceptionally warm. By far the best service,(among many good hotel services) during my trip to Thailand. The food is great, too. The rooms are very cheap so I don't think you can complain, but my room was built onto a tree. There were two rooms, and they shake whenever the person staying next door comes and goes--also not their voices come through the very thin walls. It really didn't matter too much, since I really liked the couple staying next door and was out in the jungle almost all of my stay. "
