river boat house magical”

we arrived at neenlawat and check in was a breeze greeted by a friendly woman and showed us to out room the house boat was small in size but quaint and had all the mod cons wifi air con toilet/shower was small but ok the rooms on the river were great gently rocking as the sail by so relaxing and the veiw was beautiful very romantic just down the road was a lovely all you can eat bbq which I highly recommend overall we had a great stay at the neenlawat hotel@gardens highly recommended 👍

Very pleasant stopover ”

Friendly staff, decent breakfast and other meal options, nice pool, good riverside location. Very clean comfortable room. Good for stopover if using Surat Thani rail links, (somewhat out of town) worth a longer stay.

Perfect place to spend last night before catching the early plane to Bangkok! ”

We didn’t want to stay too close to airport , it was our last night of our holiday and we found this place less than 20 mins away! Absolutely beautiful right near the river Staff so sweet and taxi into night market in evening all arranged by them. We were coming from Khao Sok National Park by mini bus and got dropped off at Surat Thani train station then a lovely lady from hotel picked us up. Only about 6 mins drive. We stayed in the studio house right overlooking river and they even through in a free canoe 🛶 which we were brave enough to use, great fun. Lovely swimming pool all to ourselves as out of season so was very quiet here. So peaceful and tranquil sitting on our patio listening to the bird songs at night! Perfect ending to our holiday. Oh and they gave us a lift to Airport in morning too, had to pay but only couple quid. Great for a one night last stay near airport.

A little bit out, but what a view.”

On arrival we were greeted by super friendly staff. The room we had was on the river but as raining and young kids they upgraded us to pool villa. We missed the view but the kids loved the pool. Kids win. The breakfast was western style, my wish was for Thai food as really and honestly western food does not taste great in Thailand. The cleanliness was superb and views amazing. If there do not miss out on kamin caves a truly fantastic experience. Town centre and dam are great days out too. At the end of each evening it was a nice relief to come back to a comfortable place to relax.

Quiet place near airport and train station”

This place has very few services nearby. It has a great location on the river and a great pool area. Most units are individual bungalows. staff very friendly and helpful. they serve limited thai menu and a set American breakfast ($100 baht - very good) in on site cafe. . Pick up/ dropoff at train station is 100 baht each way. The room could gave been a liittle cleaner. There was evidence of gecko poop and some slight mould in bathroom (not uncommon for Thailand) . WiFi would not connect in room but worked outside and in lobby and cafe. There is a Thai cook it yourself bbq buffet just 100 meters toward train station. 159 Baht all you can eat. it us worth a try.

We had a great bungalow with two rooms inside. This allowed our boys to make the ac as cold a they like it. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The food they prepared us was delicious. There is a restaurant right down the street. There are bicycles on site to use. A great place to stay .

Great value experience ”

Great night on a floating room, clean and tidy, bit basic though. Very friendly staff(manageress), opened restaurant and cooked good food. Also gave us taxi to the station for 100bht Remember Mozzy spray.

A little out of the way but worth it”

Located right on the river about a 5 minute cab ride from the train station. Great if you need to catch an early train. Individual little cabins. Older ones float on river, newer ones in beautiful garden setting. Very pleasant and helpful staff/ owners. Bring soap and shampoo as none was provided. Minor detail as the price per night was very affordable.

Brand new”

It's a bit out in the sticks but they're the biggest bungalows you'll ever see and they're brand new. Everything works well and is good quality. Owners/managers do everything they can to help, such as a free lift to the airport in a nice new Honda 4WD. They couldn't be friendlier or more helpful.

Ok for just a night.”

If want some peace and quiet and nice people this is an ok spot to make sure you are near the airport for your flight out of surat the next day. The home cooking from the cafe is a nice warm touch and the people are wonderful. Very friendly. The room was very small make shift for 1000 baht, but enough to get me through a day.
