A shining beacon of comfort & hospitality”

My partner & I booked this hotel at the literal last minute because our reserved booking elsewhere proved inhospitable. It was winter season and we were wandering in the cold. I wasn't expecting much for the price, and was just hoping for a warm bed and hot shower. Nest Hotel proved itself to be much more! Upvote #1) Central Location: The hotel is very conveniently located at a walking distance from Osaka station, which places their guests at the heart of the city. There are lots eateries catered to many budgets and some are 24-hour joints. There is a fully-functional 7/11 next to the hotel too. Upvote #2) The premises are clean. The bed, comforter & pillows (can request for more of the latter at no cost) are soft. The room has excellent amenities, like a safe, mini-fridge and a stock of the hotel's unique blend of ground coffee brew. The bathroom has a deep bathtub, multi-function bidet and heated mirror (keeps the glass condensation free). Upvote #3) In the mornings, you can expect a simple but tasty spread of breads, rolls & other pastries available for free for all guests. A couple of toasters at the end of the spread are there if you'd like a piping hot bun in the morning. There is a coffee machine with freshly grounded beans and takeaway cups available next to the spread. The breakfast spread is available from 6.30am-9.30am, but all the good bread is practically gone by 8.30am so get up good and early if you'd like some carbs. The hotel recommends that you take the coffee & bread up to your room with the provided takeaway plates and cups, but they don't mind if small groups of guests were to quietly dine in the lobby. Exceptional”

The hotel is located just a small walk away from the Umeda and Osaka central station. So going around the city is no hassle at all. The rooms are tiny, but that's expected of any hotel in Japan. The staff were very friendly. They also have free breakfast for everyone (which is basically assortment of breads and coffee - but good enough to start you day)... The rooms are cosy and clean. For the price, it is perfect for sleeping after a long day of sightseeing.

Great location”

Fantastic little hotel. Walking distance to Umeda Station and Osaka Station. Also near a huge shopping mall, Hankyu mall and eating streets. Room is small-ish but more than adequate. Toilet and amenities like pyjamas, toothbrush, towels provided. Laundry room on second floor (didn't use it so can't comment). Free breakfast (toast and ham) daily, again can't comment because I never tasted it. Will definitely go back when I visit Osaka again.

Good for one night stay”

Decided to give it a try as it's a relatively new hotel, this is the nearest hotel I can get that is near to Osaka train station with my budget. I only stayed for a night as the next day morning I were transit to Kyoto via Osaka Station. I booked a economy triple room. Checked in late around 10pm at night. The room was expected tiny which I can only open one luggage at a time but barely can walk with my luggage on the floor. It is OK with just one night stay. The hotel has contemporary design and sparkling clean. It served healthy bread made of natural yeast and fresh brew coffee. The staff were polite, however with a generous smile will be perfect. Overall, satisfy with the stay for the price I paid for.

Clean, well placed, small functional rooms”

Perfect little hotel with a big stress on the little rooms. Breakfast was free bread and pastries and there were a lot of nice little touches like this. Bathrooms were a small but decent size. It was very clean and excellent value for money. Very close to Osaka and Umeda station.

Fantastic Hotel with Nice Staffs”

The hotel is newly built in 2018. The hotel rooms and facilities are in good condition. The hotel staffs are nice and hospitable. There is a convenience store (7-11) right next to the hotel. Very convenient! It takes approximate 15-20 minutes to walk to the JR Osaka station. This distance is a bit far though, but the hotel price is comparably acceptable with this little deficiency. If taking a taxi, the price is about 680 yen. (starting price) Overall the experience of this stay is great!

Exceptional”

This place is just a few mins walk from umeda station. There is a convenience and restaurants nearby open till late so you wont get hungry. The place is small, typical hotel room size in japan . we only have hand carry so were fine with the space. But if you have big luggage will be quite challenging-well its the same wt other hotel. Its consider new hotel and the place is spotless. Most of all I love the smell of the body wash and shampoo. They provide bread and coffee for bf. The sakura and matcha flavour is nice

Clean, new, Worth the budget ”

Lack of instruction cus Osaka station and Umeda station are very big it was very hard to find the right exit. Would be helpful if they give us clear information on which exit to go. First time we have spent 20 mins to arrive hotel from station, second time we hVe spent 10 mins.

Beautiful New Hotel with wonderful location”

hotel is new and clean. nicely decorated like a boutique hotel. Location was way excellent. a lot of shops and restaurants in the area and is short walking distance to the major train stations! Will definitely book nest hotel the next time i'm back.

This was an amazing stay. It was close to the Umeda station. I was genuinely thrilled to have stayed here for my first time ever in Osaka!

Perfect hotel for exploring the city”

Perfect hotel, located 5min walk from Osaka main subway and train station. Especially convenient if you're staying for a short term. Room, bathroom and communal parts are extra clean with a nice decor. Only bad point maybe: the size of the rooms, which are rather small

Well designed cosy modern hotel”

The room is standard small sized hotel for japan standard but the room was so well designed, it felt more spacious than others. The lighting of the room, small details on where you can hang your clothes. We really enjoyed our stay and will use it again for osaka.

Exceptional”

Abit far from Umeda station, lots of nearby shopping mall and food for you to eat. Room wise is clean and tip top condition just that it is quite small and narrow for 2 person. No early check in available as the staff followed to strictly check in at 2pm which is quite a hassle if guest need a good rest badly after their long flight.

Clean and modern”

Our room was modern and clean, but only a step above a capsule hotel in size. Staff was kind but spoke very limited English. Location was good - about a 10min walk from Osaka station and in a great area for restaurants and convenience stores. I would definitely stay here again, but will spring for a larger room next time.

Walking distance to Osaka/Umeda station”

The room is small but more or less expected in Japan. Room is clean. Not noisy. Wifi is good. About 10 minutes walk to reach Osaka and Umeda station. Along the way, there are shops, restaurant and mini-marts (7-11, family mart, lawson). There is free breakfast (bread and coffee) every morning, the chocolate muffin is good. There is a very nice Starbuck nearby, good to do your work and relax for the day. Stayed for a good 12 nights and no complains....other than the small room. At least is "big" enough for 2 small size luggages.

Decent place 10 mins walk from OSAKA Station”

Overall it was nice stay. Room was smaller as expected. 10 mins walk from OSAKA Station. Nearby 7/11 and lawson. Good Indian restaurant about 5 min walk. Breakfast was good. Hotel staff is very strict about checkin time of 2 PM. We were there by 1.15 PM and they did not let us checkin even 30-45 mins before. So we have to wait in lobby until 2 PM. This was over strictness. They did not let us check in early. And staff demanded 1000 yen to allow early checkin. They need to be customer friendly and be little flexible about checkin time instead of demanding extra money. Bit noisy in night you can clearly hear traffic from the road and passing train.

Three sides of double bed are flushed against the wall. Will charge 1000 yen for each hour of late check out No drinking water provided Slight Train noise can be heard at night. However train stops running after midnight Staff can’t speak English very well
