Beautiful hotel with a roof top pool that overlooks gorgeous lake akan”
Its our 2nd time staying at the hotel. We love the hotel because it is right in front of the lake, near the boats and also has a roof top pool. The pool offers the most beautiful view of Lake Akan. The onsens are also large, clean and wonderful. The food were better than when we last visited in 2017. They now have make-your-own kamameshi (traditional japanese rice dish) and genghis khsn (lamb bbq) which are really nice.

"Stellar" hot spring facilities”
In addition to the main onsen pool, there is a heated rooftop pool for swimming, another onsen pool, and a jacuzzi with a spectacular view of the lake. The buffet offered a lot of choices, both ethnic and Western. The dining room also has a view of the lake but you need to get there when the restaurant opens, or show up an hour later after the families have left. The hotel was fairly full, so I was glad to see Japanese traveling again.

The outdoor pool is amazing with the lake+mountain view despite the cold weather. Buffet has lots of variety. The hotel provide the free bus to the street and free rental of winter jacket too.

This was by far the best hotel buffet dinner I've ever had and I had plenty of buffet dinners. It's so good that it was the highlight of the stay and left a better impression that their amazing rooftop hot spring on 9th floor overlooking frozen lake Akan. Hotel itslef is quite old but it's extremely well maintained and gives off 90s Japanese vibe. It even has a bar, karaoke, and mini arcade for kids. All of this for ~200sgd a night makes it best value for money hotel I visited in Japan.

Great location & good selection at buffet. Arrived during Japanese holiday time, so busy but well organised staff. Stay 3 night. First room with lake view had problem toilet. Staff immediately moved us to a better room. Very efficient. Believe some rooms need renovating

Scenic onsen with Super Buffet”
The view from the 9th floor onsen is WOW! Buffet is great with lots on offer from pizza to Japanese cuisine. Close to the ferry terminal and frankly to everywhere since Lake Akan is quite small.

Very very crowded hotel with plenty of group tour staying here. The public hotspring will be filled with people so better to go after 9pm or in the morning instead. Hardly anyone at hotspring during morning. Room condition is very aged . Although room is old, its clean. Location is right in the town.

Cosy hotel although the interior of the rooms are kind of dated, yet well maintained. Love the onsen and infinity hot pool. Not forgetting the lovely dinner and breakfast, awesome! Didnt choose the lake view, hence not much view from the room but we can easily walk to the lake for strolls. Location is good, staff are nice and the restaurant area is big, therefore able to cater to many guests.

Stay only 1 nights, my wife and I like the warm pool and whirlpool at roof top with Lake Akan view. Indoor onsen too simple and standard. Dinner have a good variety of meal, fresh sea food and others, can not try all dishes .. to much variety.
