Central in Osaka downtown”
Firstly, there are two New Osaka hotel - one in Shin-Osaka and one in Shinsaibashi. Both are VERY different. We checked into the wrong one at Shin-Osaka and it's very old and 6 subway stops from downtown area. So double check your booking and hotel location. The New Osaka Shinsaibashi branch itself is very conveniently located behind Hotel Nikko and only 5 mins walk to subway station and main street where you will find Gucci and Tiffany stores. The Shinsaibashi pedestrian mall is also 5 mins walk and you can spend a whole day walking along this mall and continue to the mega Namba shopping area and Namba underground mall area. Amenities are not bad, rooms are a bit small, room key is not card based, rather a physical key. Staff are very friendly. Nearby 5 mins walk is Starbucks for morning breakfast. Internet is free but only on LAN cables.

Peace & Quiet in Osaka's Entertainment District”
my husband and i stayed at the new osaka hotel shinsaibashi for 2 nights during a trip to osaka. we found the hotel quite easy to find, and it is very close to the shinsaibashi subway stop, making it ideally located should you need to travel about osaka. but truth be told, shinsaibashi is pretty much the heart & soul of the city as it has great shopping & great food - about 10 minutes away is dontonburi alley, which is pretty much the biggest food street the city has. our room was very clean & quiet, and the largest we have had during our trip to japan. the people at reception were helpful and even let us check in to our room early, which is almost unheard of in japan! probably the only downside to our stay here is that the internet is only accessible through a wired connection - although they do provide you with an ethernet cable, it is quite short which is inconvenient and we actually found the internet access horribly slow (many times our computer did not even think it had an internet connection at all!). despite this, given all the other pros, we could overlook this and would happily stay here again!

Quite Comfortable”
Overall, the hotel is good and clean. The size of our room not big, but consider not too small (since i stayed in other hotels before this hotel, and the room size really squeeze, so when i arrived at New Osaka Hotel, it feels bigger). Access to the Shinsaibashi Station consider near,it depends on which exit you choose (In Japan, in 1 station, you can have so many exit from 2 to 20 mins walk from the tap gate). The nearest exit to the New Osaka Hotel is exit to Nikko Hotel, it's just 5mins walk from Nikko Hotel to New Osaka Hotel.

room is spacious, neat and clean”
Check-in was easy, got my room immediately. Room was very clean, neat with a wardrobe. Room was in fact very spacious, much bigger than most Japanese (same price range) hotel. It was very comfortable. Hotel is near to metro, to shopping district of Shinsaibashi covered walking street. From hotel main door, turn right & walk straight to the main road, you can see Daimaru Department Store is just across. Nice shopping experience in Osaka, hop back to the hotel, rest a while & off I go again. So convenient.

PROS - close to Shinsaibashi station, Shinsaibashi main street, near Konbini(convenience store) - loved how there were taiyaki stall, coffee shop and cake shop just next to the hotel - quite spacious for a Japanese typical hotel - amenities aplenty! loved the free coffee and tea bags from the receptionist, also had free bath salt - staff were nice and helpful especially when we wanted to send our bags to the airport so we can walk around Osaka town before we left PROS - cleaning not every day, so we had our rubbish in the room for a couple of days

Excellent Hotel and Good Value for Money”
Love this hotel I'm a repeat guest. The rooms are cozy and not too big with friendly staff. Buffet breakfast is nice costing 1000yen. Also there's the free space night where the buffet area is open for hotel guests with free flow juice and coffee for guests to enjoy. The location is also super convenient with convenience stores (Family Mart & 7Eleven) and Daimaru shopping nearby. Public transport is also conveniently nearby. New Osaka Hotel is an awesome base to explore Osaka and it's outlying areas and towns.

Excellent location which is very close to Shinsaibashi subway station (less than 2 minutes' walk!) The amenities hotel provided to guests are really way out of our expectations (free drinks at the juice/coffee bar) Breakfast buffet included is also quite good! So all in all- A very good stay at New Osaka Hotel!

Convenient hotel ”
New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi is a very convenient hotel that is centrally located. It is very close to Nikko Hotel but in a very reasonable price. It's easily access to dining restaurants and shopping areas. It is also very convenient to take underground train to get access to the countryside, most can be reached within one hours. There is wifi service in lobby but if it can also provided in room would be much appreciated. I stayed 4 nights in hotel and it's thoughtful to have a drink free one night.

The New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi is near a central station (The Namba Station and Shinsaibashi Station) Also, it is located in the best shopping area in Osaka. You can easily go to other beautiful areas like the osaka castle, umeda, etc.

This hotel is very for money. The rooms are pretty clean and small, but that's the same for most hotels in Japan. The nearest subway station is Shinsaibashi, exit via Hotel Nikko and our hotel is right behind it. The shinsaibashi arcade is just a 5 min walk away and if you walk down the arcade and turn in somewhere, you'll reach dotombori. Namba station is further down but it is very easy to get yourself lost from the arcade onwards, so it is not recommended if you have large baggage. There is a coin laundry nearby, of which you can ask the receptionist where it is. Overall it's a good and well situated hotel.

Great Location and great room and cheap”
The hotel is less than 5 mins walk from Shinsaibashi station and the Shinsaibashi shopping street. Hotel is very clean and there is a nice cafe at the 1st level where you will hear bands playing at night. Staffs are helpful, we recall 2 of the hotel receptionist helping us circle out the supermarket locations and explaining patiently to us on how to get there. Indeed, the recommended supermarket has lotsa good deals!

Value for Money in a Great Location”
Our stay in the hotel is great. This hotel is definitely value for money. You can reached the hotel within walking distance(5 minutes walk). Shinsaibashi famous street is also only blocks away from the hotel. There is also a bar at the ground floor of the hotel which is very nice. Overall, will definitely stay here again during my next stay in Osaka.

New osaka hotel shinsaibashi is located strategically in the center of Osaka. The hotel is near to transportation center, whether you come from the airport or by train from other city. It is close enough to the center of attraction but also have enough distance so that it won't interrupt your rest during night time. The hotel is compact as everyting else in Japan, but still in reasonable size. The room and bathroom are clean and hotel employee tries to speak english as much as they can.

New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi is very close to the central shopping centre, Shinsaibashi. Besides, there are many different kind of restaurant nearby. The room is clean and fit for 2 persons' stay. There is wifi provided in the lobby of the hotel. However, it would be much much better if the room can offer wifi as well. Sometimes I had to walked out to the lobby in order to "catch" wifi.

Very easy to find. Awesome location with only few minutes walk to Shinsaibashi street and Dotonbori.You can take the airport limousine to Namba OCAT and take a taxi to the hotel that would cost only 700 yen.Next to the subway station. We arrived in the early morning, left the lugguages in the lobby. When we came back our stuff were already placed in the room. They provided good toilet amenities as well. Minimart close by. Awesome comic store right next to the hotel if youre into anime and western comics. Breakfast buffet did not have a lot of variety but anyway was sufficient. You get 1 welcome drink coupon when arrive. Overall was more than impressive.

Just 1 minute walk from Shinsaibashi station. Easy walk to Shinsaibashi and Namba, the most important shopping and dinning area in Osaka. Relatively cheaper than other hotels in the area. We were able to receive wifi in our room.

Great hotel for sleeping”
The rooms are tiny, but they are clean and quiet. This was perfect for us since we were visiting friends in Osaka and didn't spend much time in the room. It was fine for sleeping, but if you are planning on spending time in the room relaxing, it might not be very comfortable. The location is really good. You are within walking distance to Ame-Mura and the station. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the area too, so it was a good place to meet friends for dinner. The hotel staff was friendly and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant, so I don't know if the food or service was good there or not. For the price of the room, it was a good deal. Nothing fancy, but a good location and a clean place to sleep.

New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi is centrally located where is easy access to nearby shopping areas and shopping malls. There are many different kind of restaurants nearby and very close to Nikko Hotel. The room is clean and tidy. And it's very nice to have wifi, both in lobby and in rooms. Check in and check out is fast. But the English of the receiptionist is so so.

A very convenient hotel ”
New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi is very convenient for shopping and easy access to other areas as it is to close the different transport stations. Besides, there are many restaurants nearby. I appreciate the smooth wifi both in room and lobby. Staff service is okay. The room is a bit small but as the room offers at a reasonable price. This defect can thereby offset. If it can offer delay for room return for people who stays 2 or more days, it will definitely a very good offer to we tourists as well.
