Good location for food lovers”

First I booked for the price actually, and thinking the rooms would be terrible, but hey, the room is actually nice and clean. Towels and sheets are actually better than other hotels (5 star) I've stayed in. Which for me is the most important. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you will be going around Hartamas, Mont Kiara area.

Good for what we paid”

We had a good deal from Agoda on this room on a last minute notice, it was a clean room and we had a room with a window. Only thing was that there’s construction going on directly opposite, so we got woken up by that in the morning. But not too bad. The room was spacious and bathroom was also big. Otherwise all good and right in Sri hartamas, was easy access to the bars

Great location in the heart of Sri Hartamas”

Sri Hartamas is jam-packed with Korean, Japanese, Fusion, and Cafe food. Right next door is a great cafe serving up delicious, healthy fare (though it's pricey). Wonderful location. But the address that we got from Google maps was spelt wrongly and also in the wrong location. Get the address from the map Agoda provides instead.

Noisy but OK”

This was the second time we've stayed at New Wave Sri Hartamas. The reception has not improved although this time I brought the Agoda Voucher (last time, without the Agoda Voucher, the reception had to call his HQ also) but the reception still asked when I made the booking; I had thought it was written on the voucher and showed it again to him which somehow made him annoyed and he asked whether I made a last minute booking like last night or two days before but I assured that I made it some weeks ago after which he called the HQ and they confirmed it. Next time, if I ever I book again here, I will print the receipt also. I was surprised to see some renovations are done in the reception area, and it was dirty. At first I thought the hotel was closed. Luckily, the renovations are stopped after 6 pm or it could be a noisy stay. Even so, in that area which has night clubs and bars, it could get noisy at night. Since my children are already grown up, they don't mind it very much. Plus, most of the day time, we are out. My room was okay, only the cups they provide were dirty so we couldn't use them. There is no fridge.

Worth your money”

New Wave Hotel at Sri Hartamas is a budget hotel that is worth every single penny! Although the room was small, but it was definitely clean and comfortable. The location where the hotel is located at is great, as it is at the heart of Sri Hartamas where there are lots of restaurants and bars at night. It is also easy to get a cab to go to the Kuala Lumpur as it is only 20 minutes drive away. Overall, I did enjoy my stay at the hotel, and for all those backpackers and people looking for a budget hotel, this is the hotel you are looking for!

Centrally located and clean hotel”

We have difficulties bringing our luggage to the first floor as there is no lift at the new wing of New Wave Sri Hartamas. This hotel is clean with comforable bed and we can find food easily around this hotel. Looks like the cleaner is not local and he is not friendly enough. Most of the time, we have to go down to refer to the counter as there is no telephone in the room.

new wave is my favorite basic hotel when i hang out around hartamas and lazy to go back. Its clean with with cable tv, hot and cold shower, cold airconditioned and clean towels❤️😘😊

Good Location”

The hotel is cheap and that is a plus point. However, the room that I stayed in was windowless and that made feel very claustrophobic. Fortunately the location to most food places is all within walking distance. There are two 711 stores nearby. There are also three local banks and one international bank nearby. Overall, I would recommend to all those who have business dealings or visits around the vicinity of Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Sri Hartamas. There are alot eateries around, including some massage parlors (reflexology). Banks, nightspots starbucks and such are around within reach and walking distance. Small simple rooms but commendable staff helpfulness.

Clean room!”

I stay at G floor, room just behind reception. Room clean, we are satisfied! Only abit noisy when lobby got phone ringing/ppl talking. Anyhow, luckily after 11pm everything fine. Definately will intro to friends if any stop over at Sri Hartamas.

Clean n a lots of restaurant with walking distance”

I had mention i'll be late check in but when i reached, they had cancelled my booking. I was so surprise but finally they had settle my problem immediately. There's many choices of restaurant with walking distance, coffee shop (with local food), Japanese restaurant, korean restaurant, pub with live band (quite happening during night time), near to Mont' Kiara and Hartamas.

This hotel is value for money, for the price i pay i am okay with the service and it is quiet comfortable to stay in. it is in the centre of sri hartamas so everywhere is literally food even after 12am u are able to find good food. for business travel wise it is a well situated hotel.

my partner and i stayed one night at this hotel. the experience exceeded my expectations given the price of the room.and the room was far supereb and clean. the woman who checked me in was very friendly. i arrived early and cheaking was fast.free wifi throughout the hotel with no charges or passcodes

Nice hotel”

Everythings nice & satisfying, really worth the price, lots of restaurants nearby. p/s: I booked through Agoda at 8pm and checked-in at 830pm that same night. I was just lucky that the room is available coz the receptionist claim the Agoda system 'not updated', coz actually theyre left with only 1 more room (which a walk-in customer just declined). Lesson learned: do not buy from Agoda LAST MINUTE, or u'll end up paying money but room is full.

Not as good as before”

Didn't have my rooms reserved, had to top up to use a 3bedder. Shud have been free since it's their error. No duvet, only a throw. Condition of bathroom deteriorating, ceiling damaged. Probably the best in Sri Hartamas, but Don't think I'll come and stay in this area next.

Worth the stay! ”

The nice thing about this hotel is, the interior design of the room was awesome. Bed was good, pillows were so comfy and no odour. Towels were clean. However, there were no water (drinking), but 2 mugs were provided without any note of where to get the water. They could work on the water pressure of the rain shower and the room was filled with faul cigarette smoke smell and they should spend a little money on fabric softners as the towels were rough Yet... it's worth the stay!

great small, boutique hotel for business travel. clean, modern, and just a short walk from restaurants. but it's the customer service of their accommodating staff that really makes this place. many thanks at the front desk,, who made us feel like we were the royal guests in the hotel.clean and good service.the rooms are much more colorful with good design

i satisfy with this hotel the room is clean and comfortable,the location is good as well its near to many restaurant,bar and 24 hour mart. but its a little bit difficult to find a parking place at certain hour. in conclusion I will come to this hotel again
