Park Hyatt Bangkok (SHA Extra Plus)
Siam,Bangkok - View on map
"Stylish and comfortable design in every corner and the overall space. The room layout is efficient, even the smallest standard room feeling spacious and comfortable. The facilities in room, closet area, toilet and bathroom are all well arranged, easy to use. l especially love the lighting design, really delicate and considerable, you don't need to try hard in each light, and the entire room lighting create an elegant and peaceful feeling that you can really relax in the room after a busy day. The only negative is the price, it's really expensive than the other 5 star hotel in Bangkok. But I really love this hotel for almost everything, will visit again."

Grace Hotel Bangkok (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"The hotel is central located near bumrungrad hospital, lots of restaurants, massage places and night market. I booked a superior room which is very small in size but with a very big bathroom. The bathroom has all the toiletries you need and the water pressure is very good. I liked the cleaning lady, she was always smiling and she cleans good. The check in was fast and staff at front desk were polite. This hotel has a Disco in the ground floor and I couldn't sleep from all the noise and vibration coming from it. At evening time loots of Thai girls stand at the front of the hotel looking for customers if you know what I mean. I don't recommend this hotel for families. You can find better deals in Bangkok. "

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok (SHA Extra Plus)
Siam,Bangkok - View on map
"Regular customer; default hotel when we travel to Bangkok. Hotel not the newest anymore but certainly closer to the Chitlom station than the Renaissance. Interior more traditionally styled although staff did mention they are currently upgrading first batch of rooms. Wish the pool would get a face lift too, could do with a fresher look. Still best pick for convenience as BKK traffic only feels worse with each trip, and Chitlom the least rowdy of the neighbouring Siam, Silom, Sathorn stations. "

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 (SHA Plus+)
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room is just right in size and the bathroom has all the essentials. The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast is basic and nothing fancy but it has enough variety for a simple breakfast. The laundry room is easy and convenient to use and cheap. The only drawback is that there is no free transport from the hotel to the train (BTS Nana Station) which is quite a long walk. The street the hotel is on (Sukhumvit Soi 11) is a very happening street with clubs, drinking holes and restaurants. There are 2 good Italian restaurants (Pormodoro and Lemoncillo) on this street. For guests who are in Bangkok to visit the Bumrungrad International Hospital (a multiple-specialty medical centre), this hotel is a short walk from it. "

Banyan Tree Bangkok (SHA Plus+)

"Having looked at a number of 5 star hotels in Bangkok, we decided on this one as it seemed to have the most facilities for the best price. Loved the Oasis Retreat suite we booked with sweeping view so the city, romantic free standing bath with view, and window-seat. This is a really large hotel with many floors and a small but lovely rooftop pool (kudos to the staff-member who brought us juice, snacks and cold towels whilst we sunbathed). Great selection of restaurants, a knockout rooftop bar that makes for amazing cocktails and photos. Fantastic buffet breakfast in the morning with views of the rock formations and waterfalls downstairs. Really enjoyed our stay here, and the staff were impeccable. Would definitely stay again. "

The Quarter Ari by UHG (SHA Plus+)
Chatuchak,Bangkok - View on map
"Located near BTS Ari Station, Villa Market, Thai-Chinese Restaurant Lhao Lhao. This neighbourhood is busy on working days, quiet on weekends and PHs. The entrance to the hotel reception is located at the side, behind the office building – Ari Hills. At the ground floor, there are Starbucks, Boots and 7-11. The staff are super friendly – doorman, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant crew, rooftop bar and the gym. Our deluxe room is well equipped with kitchenette, a comfortable bed, wardrobe, big flatscreen TV. This corner room is so spacious that we feel that something is missing, perhaps a mini sofa or work desk will complete the look! We have an awesome view of Bangkok city with lots of windows and lots of sunlight. The only downside is the bathroom: water drainage is bad and the exhaust fan not working – wet floor, steam and smell takes a while to dissipate. Breakfast is at level 22 with amazing view. The breakfast is almost the same everyday, the food is delicious but boring. The highlight of this hotel – the swimming pool, rooftop bar and gym, located at level 33 – 360° view of Bangkok!"

"As a singaporean( we are always trying to get the best bargain we could get)I must say after traveling to so many different countries, ive stayed in nice suites at the ritz beijing, maritime in berlin, even not to mention but some of the famous 5stars hotel in singapore is not on par with what ive experience with the bangkok marriot apartments!if any fellow s'porean.or anyone who happen to read this article. dont think twice and just booked straight away.vvip treatmeant. less then 5mins walk to thonglor bts then asok station at the new terminal 21 shopping mall.when u need a taxi, they have radioed control guards to call the taxi for you.after which they will take down the plate no.of the taxi which u board for your security measures! THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST COMMENT REVIEW IGAVE TO A HOTEL IN MY LIFE! THINK OF ME OF A GORDON RAMSAY WITH REALLY HIGH STANDARDS AND DEMANDS..FOR HOTEL STAY this is just perfect . now the catch the only not so good thing about the hotel is the buffet.dinner was good with a mix of thai cusine and european.then the next afternoon. i realized that food has been recycled to create a diff menue for lunch serving at a cheap price. for example if beef sirlion for dinner has leftover, itl be used to create another dish the very next day prob stir/pan fried with diff marinated sauce.left over roasted leg of lamb will be transformed to lamb stew the very next day.steam chicken would be battered and fried so on and so fort .my advice is .alarcarte, or just 1buffet dinner!overall il give a rating of 6 stars"

Khaosan Palace Hotel (SHA Plus+)
Khaosan,Bangkok - View on map
"This isn't the best room but not the worst. Very clean and comfortable enough. We stayed 2 nights here and it made a great home base while in Bangkok. The location is great only shortcoming is trying to get a cab to khao SAN road without them trying to do a flat fee and heavily overcharging you. The rooms aren't quiet but on upper floors it's not bad we were third floor and there was a bit of traffic but nothing crazy to keep me up. The pool is great at the end of a days trek and made the place. Staff was nice and service was good for the price in Thailand. At 27 a night I would definetly recommend this hotel I doubt there is better at this price range."

SO/ BANGKOK (SHA Plus+)

"The customer service in club lounge is excellent. Every time I entered the lounge, I always feel like back to home. The team always gave my warm welcome and care about whether my stay in Sofitel is comfortable. Specially thanks to Blue and Mook, they help me a lots during my stay and provide very professional service. I have been stayed in many top hotels around Asia for business trip. Blue and Mook are the best hotel team members I have ever met. I stayed one night in wood element room and the other night in water element. Water element room facing city is perfect. Very nice night skyline view and window bath design. However the wood element room is not so perfect for me. Cause the air conditioner is direct to my head when I in sleep. In summary, I will highly recommend So Sofitel Bangkok Hotel club room. It will definitely be the highlight of Bangkok trip."

Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
Sukhumvit,Bangkok - View on map
"Pros: 1. Super fast check in and check out (done in less than 10 minutes) 2. Spacious room for 2 adults and a kid with a 2-seats comfy sofa, work desk and chair, enough pillows and large bed! 3. Right in the middle of hustling soi 11, but rooms are quiet. You only feel it once you get out on the streets. 4. Accommodated all special requests made while booking. 5. Housekeeping was on point! Even organized our clothes that were left all around dangling. 6. Didn’t dine in so can’t review about the food 7. Large window with a city view and sunlight (rare find in this area) 8. Enough lighting, large mirror in the room, comparatively small but functional bathroom, necessary amenities were presented and refilled 9. Pool is nice and big 10. Very Helpful staff, called rides for us everyday within 5 minutes, helped as requested for other services. Cons: 1. No iron and iron board in the room as default option 2. Plenty of TV channels but mostly news and sports channels, only two options for kids and a few movie and documentary/lifestyle channels. No music channel. My kid felt bored. 3. Location, service and amenities- no complaints rather outstanding. But price seems a little higher for rooms if compared to other similar hotels nearby. 4. Bed mattress was too soft. Won’t bother you unless you’ve back problems like neck pain, spondylitis or backpain or used to ergonomic sleeping materials or is prone to body aches due to sleeping posture. Overall we’re super happy with their hospitality. Our 4 nights stay was great. Hope to return to this one sometime soon as Bangkok is a frequent destination for me. "
