Hotel room is nice though it's a little old, but it's clean though the aircon is quite irritating (because we can't control the temperature since it's centrally controlled). The surprise dinner buffet (with free flow sashimi, western, japanese, desserts etc) in the hotel was especially delighting. The onsen was great, with the outdoor onsen available (though the male's outdoor onsen has a nicer view of the waterfall whereas female's outdoor onsen doesn't have much view). Do take note that they will need you to pay 300Yen for the usage of onsen (tax or something). Overall a great hotel :)

Good onsen and location, impressive dinner buffet”
Facilities are quite new. Location is good. Onsen is good. They switch male and female facilities to allow both to enjoy nice outdoor onsen with waterfall view. Room is clean and big. Staff is nice giving my nephew Yukata for kid without asking. However we have trouble to get a proper size of Yukata for ourselves in our room. Dinner buffet is great with large number of selection. Fish dish was good. Breakfast has less selection and end too early (9am).

Overall is good. The hotspring bath is best. Price included buffet dinner n breakfast but 2 years old kids will need to paid separately,which we think bit expensive, other than that Overall is good !

Good location”
Just less than 5mins walk from Bus station. Good Onsen, they will switch man and women Onsen everyday for you to experience. Like the outdoor one, with waterfall. A short walk to have great pizza and soba along the shopping street.

Wonderful Stay”
The onsen was marvelous! The room is spacious and clean, and the buffet was great too. Overall it was a very relaxing and satisfactory stay. Plenty of car park (free) just outside of the hotel. Within short walking distance from the nearby attractions. Great stay!

Good for onsen but rooms for improvement on their jap style room”
We stayed here for 2 nights, all of us enjoyed their onsen grand hall and facilities, dinner included and a wide spread of sashimi you could find on their buffet table. However, their tatami mattress was really thin and not warm (we stayed airbnb in Hakodate and the landlord provided us superb and warm tatami mattress). Besides, we were only told during check out that there is a onsen service charge per pax that we need to pay, regardless we use or never use their onsen.

Best with family and friends”
Booked a Japanese style room for the night. Very spacious and well-thought out room with tea pot and set available, electric kettle and ice water. Lots of storage space. Room was best for 2-4 people though. It was nice to walk around in the free yukata provided and enjoy the 24/7 onsen. Hotel conveniently located next to the bus stop that takes you to Noboribetsu Station.

Superb Rooms and fantastic hot spas”
IF budget and time allows, this is a fantastic place to be in. The hot springs and the public bath is reason enough to just stay in this hotel. If I ever come back to again, this will be one of my return to list.

Large room and Convenient location ”
Room was spacious and clean. We love that it was a 3 minutes walk from dining and shopping street at Noboribetsu, and only 15 minutes walk from the Hell Valley. The hotel also has a nice public bath filled with water from the hot spring. Had close encounter twice with foxes in the wild and family of deers during our drive.

Pleasant two days stay”
Overall enjoyed my stay at Grand Hotel as I have booked a twin comfort non smoking room. The onsen has a beautiful outside scenery. The bear park and hell valley are within walking distance from the hotel. Hotel has a good spread of food for breakfast and dinner. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
