Cha-Am Relaxation”

We were looking for a nice quiet location to recover from a very busy holiday period - and we found the perfect place with the Novotel Hua Hin Cha-Am Resort & Spa. First off, the property is located on the much quieter Cha-Am section. Next, all rooms face the Gulf so beautiful views of sunrise and moonrises. Next, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a very large pool and deck area that allows you to either be close to the pool "action" or a bit further away - including a sandy "beach" area overlooking the Gulf (there is, though, really no beach here - but that did not detract fron the property at all). Just a short walk outside the property are a number of small restaurants, bars, and shops that are very typical for Thailand. There are four restaurants on property (and a wonderful little wine bar on the roof - fantastic views). The only down side is that the beach side restaurant has a very limited menu that leaves just a little bit to be desired for that truly romantic dinner - that and a number of mosquitoes that joined us for dinner. The only other down side item (and this is being a bit picky) were the towels - a bit worn and frayed. Other than those two items, we highly recommend this property and WILL be heading back when we once again need a break from the rat race here in the city.

Relaxing ”

We loved our stay at the Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa. It was a little away from the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin (about 20 minutes by taxi). The village of Petchburi itself is a lovely village. The local people are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You can walk along the beach at low tide to the Platoo Seafood Restaurant which is on the beach and has great food. There are also some beautiful Thai ladies in a massage tent on the beach that give great massages and are very friendly. This is a great area to get out and explore by walking through the village as the people are just so beautiful. We ate at the local village square and had a soup for about 20 baht. There are only one or two shops behind the Novotel but alot of eateries where the food is great and not very expensive. There are plenty of bars and also alot of places to get a foot or body massage. As the people in the village are so beautiful I would certainly recommend the Novotel but say get out and walk amongst the local people as you are missing out on a treat if you don't!!

Novotel resort and spa Hotel is said to be the hotel with best scenery in Hua hin and Cha-am. 1. In terms of location, it is located in the sea shore, convenient to go by bus and private car. It take about 3 hours from Bangkok. You can reach there by Mitraphab road. I can go everywhere with bus, taxi. It take 20 minutes to go to Hua hin by car. 2. services-wise, this hotel is full equipped with various services including liquor bar, restaurant with Thai , International, Chinese, and Japanese foods. Other than that, you can enjoy the swimming pool, spa and exercise room . The staff her is said to be the best in town, with 24 hour room service. I can order some supper when I work late at night,or when I am busy with my job. 3. Pricing is also said to be reasonable with this type of hotel. It is cost effective compared with value I get . 4. beautiful sea shore. There is the private sea shore where we can enjoy the sea every time I want. The sea view room make us see the sea every time I want. I think I can stay there for a whole month without any fear and tense. The best for valuable vocation.

A pleasant stay ”

Stayed for 4 days 3 nights and quite pleased overall. The Hotel is quite isolated from city center and busy restaurant streets of Hua Hin so it is a good choice for those who seek quiet vacation. The hotel itself is rather old but is well maintained. The staff is not so friendly but very sufficient. I was checked in at nearly midnight but they did it in a very proper manner and fast. The room is quite spacious with large window and balcony looking over the sea, the pool, and the garden below. The bathroom is also good with glass shower cabin separate the toilet area. However, the shower water is quite week. I would recommend the hotel manager to look into the matter as most people would enjoy a powerful shower. The TV has mostly few news channels. I don't know about other families but I guess kids would love to have more kids' channels. Now the best part of the hotel is the pool which is quite big with area for kids to play. It also has a water sliding tower which kids would love to play a long the day. Next to the pool is children play area where you can have your kids from new born to 16 taken care of during the day. Well, the hotel also has some limitation, at least to me. First of all, there is only 1 restaurant with limited menu. The food is good but seem limited. I don't know why they don't operate another restaurant at Level 3 where we have great breakfast everyday. Second, even the hotel provide a free shuttle bus from hotel to downtown Hua Hin city (as Novotel located in Cha-am beach) which takes around 30', but there are only few times a day. With limited taxi in Novotel area, I think it is a good idea for Novotel to increase the frequency of shuttle bus to and from Hotel to Hua Hin town. Third, it is almost impossible to swim on the beach. The reason is there are so many small rocks and broken dead shelves scattered along the beach and there are jellyfish. Additionally, the water looks very dirty so I saw no one swimming on the beach at all. Last but not

A very family friendly resort & versatile services”

Novotel Cha Am is roughly 20 min taxi ride from Hua Hin city and offers a great family (we have small children) oriented hotel resort with versatile services (the beach is right at the hotel premises, swimming pool area and it's services). Great spacious room with modern equipment. Cleaning worked fine, room services and the hotel staff in general was friendly and interested in our children. Location was wonderful, a small town center with 7eleven, laundry, local restaurants and not very busy road at all. Although visiting some sights can get costly because of distances. Locals were friendly. Only downside that I can think of - the price range is outside some families with tight budget - the pool area sun chair reservations early in the morning already by hotel guests (place towels and books on chairs to indicate a reservation) was annoying - Also, we had difficulties finding a single sun chair during daytime when we came for a swim with the kids. Perhaps additional chairs could be arranged for the busiest times. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay. Beds in Thailand are very stiff in general, the bed at Novotel was a little more comfortable than other hotels, the room view was to die for! Great high speed internet (ethernet in the rooms), great pools and fitness center, they also have a free class every day (Yoga, thai boxing, ...). The hotel was just across the street from a seven eleven and there were a variety of restaurants, massage places, laundry places right outside the hotel gates. There are also taxi cabs waiting at the gates of the hotel. Prices of cabs in Cha Am are particularly high and it seems like the taxi cabs have some sort of unions (it was impossible to bargain any of the prices down!). Another wonderful holiday!”

Once again we complete a review for a very relaxing finale to our 3 week Hua Hin/Cha Am holiday. After staying at a few hotels around the area, we always had the Novotel Resort to look forward to before leaving for home. We know what to expect and Novotel Hua Hin/Cha Am always delivers. Nice family oriented hotel with friendly staff.”

I had been using the facilities for a few days before checking in to the Novotel, the place I was staying was having its pool renovated so I walked down the beach and asked if I could use the pool at the Novotel. A few days later I decided to move the Novotel. The receptionists were charming and helpful making the check quick and easy. The room was clean, as was the bathroom and the bed was clean comfortable. The room had a wonderful view of sea and the gardens leading to the pool. The hotel has a really good swimming pool with a pool side bar and beach front restaurant serving a wide verity of meals and snacks. The restaurant was open from eight in the morning until eleven in the evening. The evening meals were always good.The waitresses worked extremely hard to make everyone fill welcome and were always pleasant. Even when some rude people turned up as the restaurant was about to close for the night demanding something to eat, I watched as they dealt with the situation with charm. I went down the first morning to have the buffet breakfast but was a bit disappointed by the confusing way the buffet was laid out and the number of guests all vying for their breakfasts. Nothing was wrong with what was on offer, both Thai and Continental, but it was extremely busy and the buffet seemed spread across a wide area of the dining room. I gave up on the idea and went down to Novotel’s the beach side restaurant and sat in complete peace eating my breakfast omelette, watching the sunrise. I would recommend this hotel as it clean, has very good facilities and attentive staff, but I’d advise you to look for any special deals on the room price as the Novotel is on what I consider to be the pricey side for a reasonable hotel in Thailand. The other thing to consider would transport as its location is quite a way from Hua Hin or even Cha-am for that matter, but for the family everything is here if you do not particularly want to do any site seeing.

when i go to novotel hua hin cha beach resort & spa, my feeling is good so much. i love here because he has service mind and good advice in travel. you know he has swimming pool, it is nice a lot. my room has big bed (look like queen size)and no smoking that it is good health, here you can relax to be happy because my room can see good view; sea view. i always love novotel hua hin cha beach resort & spa all i go to there. sorry my English is not well, i write in i think and i touch everything.

5 star service in a solid 4 star property”

The rooms were nice, clean, and had excellent views. All had a furnished balcony. The sit down rain shower was awesome. The pool area is very inviting, and there is a variety of seating to accommodate all. The pool bar is a nice touch to enjoy a cold drink while sitting in the pool. The food was good, and the coffee shop in the lobby was very nice to have a quick cup or a smoothie. The service everywhere on this property was exceptional! I found the location right between the main areas of Hua Hin and Cha-am to be perfect, as I had rented a scooter to get around. There really is no way to see the beautiful obscure spots in Cha-am by foot or taxi. Just a few KM to the south I discovered a secluded white sand beach. I'm not giving directions...you'll have to explore yourself to find it. If I did not emphasize it enough, the staff in this hotel would have it maintain 4 stars even without all it's other features. I highly anticipate my return to this property!

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

I went with my wife to Hua Hin on vacation to Hua Hin. The hotel is very cosy with a lovely pool. Thumbs up to the poolside bar. Although you cannot access the beach directly, but you can enjoy the sight from the beachfront restaurant within the hotel. It is located in between the Cha Am market and Hua Hin Market, 2 of the more popular shopping area. Although it takes around 20 min to reach either, you can actually rent a scooter/motorbike from vendors just outside the hotel. Theres also a few restaurants / pubs right outside the hotel in case u get sick of the hotel food / entertainment.

we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended by a night whilst there. hua hin/cha am was such a lovely surprise for us as we have not been there in the last 16 years. it appeared clean and orderly, a town of great charm. the novotel hotel was exceptional value, so new and attractive, with wonderful amenities complimenting the location on the seafront. families were seen to be very well catered for, with many features designed for the children. everyone seemed to be happy and content during their stay. the sea views of course were exceptional!

Nice place it's about 18kms nth of hua hin so to go to town you need to hire car or taxi not good to ride moped on that road ( major road ) good pool clean rooms great breakfast.Near the resort is small village with7/11,restaurants ,massage shops so if your after night life it's in hua hin not here . I will go back here had a very. Nice 10 days there we hired small car for $28 aus a day and drove up to cha am city and down to hua hin city shopping centres and out to the nation parks 8/10

Great view and relaxing hotel”

We enjoyed it thoroughly as its away from all the main Hua Hin and Cha Am area but still has a stripe of quaint cafeteria, restaurants, foot massage, 7 Eleven, etc. As a city couple, we thoroughly enjoyed the calm and peaceful sea view from the balcony and even just relaxed and watched the sun rise at the balcony. Tho' they only have 1 breakfast cafe and another Cafe by the Beach restaurant, it was sufficient and had lots of variety at brekky buffet and daily night dinner themes. The pool side was very relaxing with a lot of deck chairs for the sun tanners, hammock and decks under shady palm trees or the fun slide that both the young and youngmat heart had fun sliding down into the pool! We saw there were ample play room and games and fun for kids too.

The Best Resort for Family in Cha Am & Hua Hin”

Good location on a quiet beach between Cha Am and Hua Hin. All room facing to the ocean . We get a Family Suite with Bulk bed very comfortable for family with kids. Lots of recreation facilities to fit all ages of kid. Very Big pool overlook the sea. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. Various choice of F&B in a very reasonable price where you can get 40% credit back when book with government Travel Together campaign separate from 600 credit you can use at the restaurants or shop outside.

Great for Resting and Relaxing by the Ocean side”

Novotel Hotel is a friendly family resort with excellent pool and spa facilities. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed; it essentially is an open space from the front entrance all the way to the back, where the large pool resides next to the shore. The pool itself is the centerpiece of the resort. There are plenty of lunge chairs lining its side, as well as some cabanas and facing the ocean. The staff operates a pool bar but you can also buzz them to come to your lounge chair by pressing the buttons located next to each chair. The hotel has a restaurant with themed dinners almost every night but due to the secludedness of the hotel and the fact that Cha-am is a small town to begin with, you might find it difficult to find alternative places to eat. Although the hotel itself is very nice, the surrounding beach is not very impressive at all and very few people were seen frequenting it. You should certainly not enter the ocean water as there are many jelly fish in it. Also, please note that this is mainly a family friendly resort so those looking for a Thai version of Cancun should look elsewhwere.

Valuable, Nice Swimming Pool, Seaview”

We have stayed 3 nights in Novotel. All the rooms have the view of swimming pool and beach. Free Wifi and the connectivity is quite good. Free shuttle bus to/from Hua Hin Clock Tower (several times every day), Cha Am Beach (once every day) Cha Am Night Market (on Wed night). Advance booking is recommended. 7-11 is just in front of the entrance of Resort, which is very convenience for you to buy some snacks. Several local restaurants and massage shops are located along the street outside the resort and the price is reasonable. Taxi service is also just outside the Resort entrance and you can book a car for a half-day or full-day visits to Cha Arm/Hua Hin scenic points. The swimming pool is very nice and my kid loved to play the water slide very much. There is also a kid world beside the swimming pool and its facilities are quite attrative. We all enjoyed our stay in Novotel.

Well decorated & comfortable room. View from Balcony is great. Staffs are very cooperative & helpful. Check-in & check-out prompt & quite fast. Drawback is non-connectivity of Wi-fi in the rooms compared to standard of the hotel. Food is slightly overcharged. Restaurant & pool are nice. activities for older children to be considered. Location is slighty far from the main cities of Cha am or Hua Hin.

Pleasurable ”

We had a great time staying at Novotel Hua Hin Cha Am Beach Resort & Spa. It's very thoughtful to have the Kids world zone for the children to enjoy during their stay. Very thoughtful to have a nap room in there. The pool was ok. The slide is not functional as it supposed to. Need to repair. The food and drinks was great. Not so expensive. Love that in the room there were everything you ever needed. Love that we can change the pillow type that suits our preferences. The view from the room is fantastic.

Relaxing”

Nice renovated room with 180 degrees sea view. Pool area has lots of chairs. The beach itself is not so great though. There is 7/11 convenience store, massage shop, small local restaurant near the entrance. It used to be courtyard marriot but now novotel. The gps in our car only found marriot, but big tall building so easy to find. We will come back again for easy get away from bangkok. Ps. Best to come here by your car but the hotel has free shuttle van to cha am and hua hin. Bring dvd to watch in your room. Rent dvd with popcorn is a bit pricey at 250baht PPS.The swimming pool is nice as it has got a slider for children. However the kids are screaming and running around all day, so not a romantic holiday for adult. pps. Previous 2 hotels that we booked through agoda did not have our reservations, so we were very worried. This time we were lucky. The review about no reservation/overbooking were never published on agoda's side. They ignore comments not beneficiary to them. Shame on them.
