Nice hotel with good food”

enjoyed our stay at novotel mumbai juhu beach. i definitely recommend upgrading to the premier floor. the little extra money is definitely worth it, as the lounge offers great food. the food in the hotel, including the lounge, is extremely tasty. you just have to find out what time the food is served in the lounge, otherwise there is only tea and coffee. the breakfast buffet downstairs was great, and you could even get coconut water. the rooms were very nice, modern and new. try to get a seaview room if possible. the washrooms were really nice and clean. service in the hotel was good, but had to ask for a tour of where the facilities were. once we asked, they showed us right away. liked the security downstairs. area was was good. will definitely go back again on our next trip to mumbai and would recommend to anyone else going.

Old Holiday Inn refurbished to be a modern Novotel”

This ex-Holiday Inn has been refurbished two years back and there still seem to be some renovations going on. Novotel is a well-located option on Juhu Beach for people who don't want to stay at an airport hotel where there are lots of building sites next to the Int'l Airport at present. Our standard room was nicely refurbished with a glimpse of the sea and everything worked well in the room and in the hotel in general. Breakfast is good and varied, service good to excellent at all stations and the pool area pleasant. The only problem was the carpet in our room (439) - it hasn't been properly vacuumed for a long time and. Moreover, the pool area should be cleaned regularly. Otherwise, Novotel is a fine option on Juhu Beach before catching a flight back home.

very enjoyable”

i didnt realise til i got there that this was the old Holiday Inn hotel on Juhu Beach. if i had known i probably wouldn't have booked it! but they have done a very smart, and total, makeover, so that the only thing in common with the old hotel is the location, right on the beach! from the start the staff were very accommodating, upgrading us to 2 rooms on the premium floor so we could have free internet (i had complained about the charge of rs 800 per day for internet). they also allowed us to have a late checkout til 4pm. the food was excellent, and overall i would highly resommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a breth of frshair while staying in mumbai. the only drawback is if you have business downtown it can take up to 1 hour to get there.

Great location on Juhu Beach”

The Novotel Juhu Beach is set on a very nice stretch of Juhu Beach. The room offered great views of the pool area, beach and ocean. The rooms were modern and of a relativly good size. The internet connection was easy and quite fast as well as being less expensive than other hotels. The hotel offered a good bar and restaruant option and the food buffet was quite nice for all meals. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would certainly consider this hotel again in future.

Great Hotel - Friednly Staff”

We chose the hotel for its proximity to the airport as our flights were arriving late and leaving early. Our room was large as was the bathroom. Bathroom amenities a little basic (and no robes) but everything was in working order. The view of the sea and the side street was a great way to observe the throngs of people coming to spend their holiday time on the beach. (I would not want to swim or sunbake on this beach-it's not clean, but the pool area at the hotel was wonderful.) Brekfast buffet was fantastic - huge international spread and the staff very attentive. THe hotel bar was a hotspot on the weekend. We had a hotel car and driver for airport transfers and a day trip (of course more epensive than taxi but very comfortable and the driver very knowledgeable). It's a fair hike down to Colaba but there is plenty to see and do in the Juhu area. We will stay there again.

Nice Peaceful location on the Beach !”

Stayed here for 1 Night to celebrate Marriage Anniversary ! Location of the Hotel is right on Juhu Beach. Away from the maddening crowd of Mumbai yet centrally located ! Rooms offered to us was a partial beach view.Comfortable room with most of basic amenities. Surprised to see no Toothpaste or Brush in the Room which normally 5* Hotel provide. The food served in restaurant was good. Staff was really helpful and Check in was smooth as well. The best part of the Hotel is Sea facing Lounge / Restaurant where one can have quality time overlooking the Ocean .

Since I was arriving in Mumbai after 30 hours of travel from the states, I wanted to stay at a comfortable hotel. After reading some of the reviews of the Novotel Juhu Beach, I wasn’t expecting too much, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the majority of my experience. The room and bed were clean and contemporary. The bed was very comfortable with fluffy sheets and supportive, but not hard, mattress. As usual, there were little Indian idiosyncrasies in the room such as titling side tables where everything placed on it slid off and lights that did not work. After 45 minutes of waiting for our luggage to be delivered to our room, I had to call the front desk and ask it to be brought up. We had snacks at the Gadda da Vita bar which were tasty although paying $5 for a club soda felt like an unpleasant rip off. Breakfast the next day was a huge spread and worth the stay alone. They have nicely equipped gym and I was able to enjoy a steamroom and sauna at no extra charge. Staff were variable, some where warm, helpful and cordial and others were cold and officious. I would stay at this hotel again with some reservations.

A good upgraded hotel located in good location of Juhu-on juhu beach. Good facilities,resturants and overall renovated look. Have a good spa and location is very good for Mumbai suburbs will recommend this hotel to business as well as tourists.THEY have a new spa which is good and relaxing also. Good choice of food and resturants must consider for juhu area stay. Rooms toilets are good -slightly on expensive side

Novotel Juhu located at JUHU beach is a good hotel overall-good rooms a bit small though,nice renovated toilets and new renovated resturants -having a spa as well located in the good area of Juhu -having most facilities would be a recommended for business,sightseeing,shopping and good resturants-a bit expensive even considering the high normal prevailing rates in mumbai still a recommended hotel

The Novotel is a great hotel to end a trip to India with. Its Juhu location means you are really close to all the awesome night life. Juhu beach is great for people watching.

Nice hotel, service has dropped”

i always stay at the novotel juhu when i am in mumbai. i had two instances where the service was poor. i had an issue with my key card. it took a few requests until this was resolved. i also asked for some toilet paper to be sent to my room and left outside the door as i would be in the shower. the guy insisted on knocking at the door until i answered it. a relatively minor issue but i expect better communication between staff at a hotel of this class.

had a good stay at novotel juhu-allowed early check in even when occupancy was very high and went out of the way to accomodate a good business and tourist hotel located in important area of juhu close to business and leisure-resturants,malls,shopping they have an option of free internet which is a big plus point in indian hotels hotel staff service could be a bit better-although courteous and helpful they are bit slow overall definately recommended

Lovely hotel and location by the beach”

A very good hotel, nice staff but a very slow and not workable network/computer in the lobby. The prices in restaurants and bars are very upmarket with prices as in good hotels in the US or in big expensives cities in Europe. Nice beds and newspapers on the door in the morning! We had a lovely stay. It is far from downtown Mumbai (at least 1,5 hour by taxi) but fairly close to the airport (30 min by taxi).

So blessed to have been a part of Novotel at Juhu Beach,Mumbai💫 The initial welcome by Mr.Jason at the reception was cold,rude,curt,unpolite and held no class at all. But on the other hand it was such a touched feeling to have been served by the best people across the hotel. To begin with the Manager in charge Mr.Dushyant Dashani who was so helpful even at odd hours.Followed by the Chef at the Square restaurant the food was finger licking good and would take things in his stride positively if he was told about the spice to be less or a change in the menu.Sumit and Praphul again from the restaurant would provide service at our table on time and were real quick.My mother and me enjoyed our stay to the core and already have planned to soon have our next staycation.

Fantastic location in front of the beach. Good room. But it let me down in customer experience. ”

I needed a android charger and approached the front desk. They did not have a charger and advised me to use the common charger installed in the lobby. That meant I would be stuck in the lobby instead of resting in my room. I declined and looked at an alternative solution. I was waiting to see if the front desk has proactively made any arrangement for a charger after I returned that night but zilch. These days it is an opportunity to delight a customer if he or she approaches you for help. A colleague of mine who stayed at the Oberoi made a public statement of how the hotel cleaning staff noticed he didnt have a charger and proactively placed one in his room while he was out. Needless to say he is their permanent customer. One might argue its the Oberoi and not Novotel but customer experience is customer experience. Additionally the room card was not accepted in the lift due to sensor issues. another issue unsolved while I was there. So can't recommend highly but good place.
