I stayed at Novotel Sydney Darling Square from 22 to 24 August 2018. I love the location of the hotel, it was near ICC, China town and there were lots of restaurants & shopping nearby. The hotel is newly renovated, beautiful & clean. The staff at the reception were friendly and very helpful. They helped tracked a UPS parcel that I was expecting daily. The breakfast was good too. I will highly recommend Novotel Sydney Darling Square to any travellers who want to be in the darling harbour area.

Previously I wouldn't have considered this hotel as in the past the surrounding area of Darling Harbour was pretty much a ghost town. Now with the recent changes with the addition of Darling Park / Square it really makes a stay at Novotel Darling Square quite an attractive option. The hotel itself is well serviced with all that you could need , a friendly reception team on hand to assist with any requests. We really enjoyed our stay and if the occasion arises we will definitely consider Novotel Darling Square again.

The location is the number 1 winning point of Novotel Sydney Darling Square. It is just walking distance from points of interests, light rail transit and even from one of the stops of the Big Bus Hop On Hop Off. Moreover, Mc Donalds, convenient store and Stabucks are conveniently located opposite the hotel. Staff are helpful (even assisted us in booking our Maxi Taxi). The rooms are clean. Breakfast is good, and the dining staff are excellent. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Every part of our experience at The Novotel, at Darling Square, was perfect. The location is amazing; perfect for couples that want to enjoy a stroll through Darling Harbour or the family that wants to go visiting the touristy locations dotted around that end of town. Very good location. Hotel location between chinatown and darling Harbour. Very easy to walk from darling Harbour to opera house and others famous district. 200M by walk have coles supermet, coffeeshop and many type of restaurants for any budgets. One thing bad about the hotel door are very noisy when people's leaving their rooms. And Air condition are very noisy.

Friendly staff and comfortable stay”
Novotel is strategically located near Chinatown so there were plenty of restaurants to sample. I was greeted with warm reception by the staff when I entered. As one of the rooms were ready early, we were allowed to check in early and drop off our luggages. The room had plenty of space so we were comfortable almost immediately. The room was well maintained . The staff were friendly and always ready to help. However, I would like to point out that toiletries are only provided upon request and the housekeeping staff would need to place a door stopper to prevent the door from slamming everytime they clean a room in the early morning as their cleaning service disturbed my sleep. In addition, they need to check their air conditioners as it tends to emit noise which also disturbed my sleep. Nevertheless, the stay was overall excellent.

Pros: clean room and comfy beds. Very good location, just walking distance to Darling Harbour and is beside China Town Cons: thin walls, you can hear every going ons outside. Far from train station therefore you have to walk or ride the light rail which is not available that time. No breakfast, no robes, limited toiletries, no room slippers available at the room rate.

1.5 short blocks to catch Hop On Hop Off Bus. Outstanding breakfast buffet and front desk staff . I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I was in Sydney.
